He apparenty had suicide attempt in LA where he passed out with valium and alcphol while in a tub of water and holding a cigarette. That's why he had BANDAGES on his fingers. (It was NOT heroin, as haters would later try to say when the LA suicide story leaked just after his death.) There was a medical report from LA and the coroner report goes back 6 months and didnt find heroin. Michael wanted his death to look like an accident so wanted to be seen happy before he took his life. That's why they speculated that he had so much valium in him and a tub full of water the day he died. He tried to "accidental drowning" suicide first and it didn't work so he ordered flowers for Paula and the girls in England and hung himself. In LA he's seen singing at the Viper club on Nov 5th. He didn't have to be in LA but was bullied there by Geldof and the horrible tabloids he controlled. Even that drug bust story is SOLEY In the press. There were no drugs, no police report and no photos. Look up Freelibrary - "Paula I can't take it anymore". Anita the nanny said she didn't know about any photos. They falsely said she said she spoke to the police but the police were never contacted. She was fired there after and Bob got a new nanny. Peaches however supposedly reconnected with her as an adult. Seeing what lies Bob could spin and how he could control what people said with gag orders and threats, Paula agreed to give Bob joint custody in 96, but she and her lawyer repeatedly said they were never contacted by the police about drugs in the house. It was press generated only. Paula wanted to take the kids out of school to try a few months in Australia before and after xmas, (it was never for xmas - they were planning to go back to England in December - see the Police Statement of Paula Yates) but Michael knew Bob would never stop tormenting them and felt Bob had won. Paula - understandably - wanted to ignore Bob and get married as they had planned. Michael was trapped. Its obvious that Michael loved Paula with all his heart but felt that taking his life was the only way to free Paula - sadly Bob kept tormenting her.

Michael's charisma and voice is so incredible he could mask his hurt very well. The hurt had been in his eyes for many years, even when INXS was was souring, if you really looked. Deep pain the eyes will show just for a moment at times. But, here, it is more than just pain. There is an element of great sadness in his eyes, with knowledge of envisioning the end. Look at 0:22 in, he hides it with his voice but if the eyes do show the soul as many say, there is complete heartbreak there, of giving all you could and just can't give more. I think if he slept for 18 hours the outcome is completely different. But the alcohol and prozac, mixed with drugs and most devastating, being awake for over 30 hours straight? Forgive me, I can't remember how long exactly, but many said he had been up a very long time. When you're up that long you only start to see the bad and if you go to bed you get up and see so many solutions that you couldn't see before sleep. Sleep heals our mind. Remember also, this is before he finds out Tiger and Paula aren't coming. Imagine being as exhausted and sad as he is here, plus 24 more hours of little or no sleep and then that news? A momentary choice doesn't define a life, and if anything was by his hand it still doesn't define him, not at all. The whole of our lives define us.

I was prescribed antidepressants years ago.I only took 2 they were 1 every 12 hours both times it made me feel nauseous sick in the stomach i did not drink or anything else with them i took those back to the doctor who prescribed them & she just threw them in the bin nothing said about it. I think it's strange how Michaels manager Colin Diamond ended up with so much of his money and possessions. R.I.P MICHAEL THANKYOU FOR THE MUSIC ❤❤❤

Um gênio e artista incrível... mesmo com toda a carga que estava sobre seus ombros...ele esteve firme trabalhando até seu último dia de vida .... meu sonho era que a banda estivesse até hoje os seis juntos fazendo os shows que só eles sabiam fazer... Hutch não podia ter partido tão precocemente 😢💔🖤✌️❤️🇧🇷

I think this would have been a very different story had Michael not suffered a traumatic brain injury. Great to see the love these guys have for each other.

I love to listen to inxs Even till this day Remind me of when I first got married in 1985 We saw inxs Twice at the Majestic theater in San Antonio Texas And when I Hear their music today reminds me of the 1980s with such a great time in My Life I Love Michael Hutchinson I couldn't Believe that he was gone.... There is a Handful of rock and roll artist that I like that includes Van Halen ,the cult, inxs, Sammy hagar, heart, moxy,.... I think sometimes what if Michael was still alive today my favorite album from that band is shabooh shoobah....love thus album ❤️

10 years later Richard speaks at Michaels funeral the band and Rhett are pallbearers and Tim's brother and bandmate Andrew speaks at funeral .Still such a very sad loss still missed. R.I.P MICHAEL ❤
