Hello! We’re Jarrett & Val from Kentucky!
Since 2012, we’ve made Part-Time RVing our Full-Time adventure!
We have stationary but flexible jobs, so we go as much as we can!
On our channel, we explore ways we can still live an ACTIVE traveling lifestyle in the most realistic & affordable ways we can, as OFTEN as we can!
Our RV’s don’t sit & let the grass grow underneath them!
We’ve owned 5 campers so far; 2 Fifth Wheels, a Class A Gas, a Class A Diesel Pusher, and then back to a Travel Trailer! Yep, our journey has been incredibly unpredictable!
We have 5 kids, young adults & teens, and our crew changes each time we go.
We hope to inspire the experiences-over-things mindset & focusing on what’s truly important; family time and lasting memories.
Hopefully you’ll find our tips, tricks, repairs, & reviews helpful too!

Are beer and joints expensive at red rocks?
@@kevincinnamontoast3669 We don’t remember, but yes. All venues are usually expensive lol
I would love to go to a Bucees, but none close, no trucks welcomed there
I really don't understand the hype. It is a gas station that brain wash people. Power of persuasion......half of the merchandise is slapped with a " trademark " beaver. I guess I'm just a hard sale.
We leave everything but food & clothes, but it's still a mountain of work. Then we have to schlep the RV 45 minutes back to the storage lot so that round trip is 2-3 hours. We're going fulltime in January so we'll let you know if that was a good decision 😀
Did solar on our house, haven’t paid an electric bill in 3yrs. Our solar payments are less than we paying for electricity. We’ look at solar on our 5th wheel
I would love watching a truck build, my vote is for the International
Have you looked at the Keystone Cougar Sport? Short, light, everything you need and nothing you don’t. We’re fixing to trade our trailer in for a fifth wheel
@@betterwithrum Haven’t yet, but still got some shopping to do. Will look into it!
Jack Black is clever diversifying his business beyond acting.
New sub here! Just saw that we will both be doing meet and greets at the Hershey show! Hope we get to meet up! We have a 5er (GD but not the Flex 😂) but we are considering going to a Class A. We found partime camping exhausting too so we now have a permanent site so we can leave everything packed up and plugged in! We still travel with the RV but we return to the permanent site. We are recent empty nesters so we don’t have kids to deal with. We are still trying to figure out what we want to do with the house!
@@campinwiththeconfers Oh awesome! Thanks for reaching out! Now we’re new subs to your channel & adventures too ☺️ 😂 too funny, good thing ya didn’t get the Flex! lol Looking forward to connecting (here and at Hershey if we can) and following along your adventures!
@@OurNextAdventurejvh I had just found your channel right before I got the email that had your channel listed as one of the Contant creators at the show lol perfect timing
I love your videos and your style. It is perfect as we are starting first timers. Can you do a video about dog friendly RV vacation spots, bonus if they are within 5-6 hours of Louisville. Thank you Love your channel. Oh and looking at possibly getting e-bikes. Can you do a video on your e-bikes that you have now and the ones before? Why did you change-I think you said you did in a video. I have watched so many I am just not sure. If you have done any other these things can you tell me which ones they are please. Thank you for your awesome channel!
Ok going to call and see if we can get in for October. I will let them know I found them through your channel 😊 Is Foley dog friendly??
We are in this process as well. You make a good point about the frame manufactures - the bad thing is is really narrows down your choices!
How do you feel like this compares to Luxury RV Resorts? We are trying to pick a place for next March.
Hi, have you been to LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES yet? I used to go fishing and camping their. Lived that place. It has been over 25 years, buit had beautiful camp grounds. Love watching your videos and learning about the places you go to. Thanks for all you do. , Cheri from Massachusetts
@@user-cq4sh5ml5h Hey thanks so much! Yes, actually we have been there, but it’s been several years. We’re due for a visit back, we really enjoyed it!
I like the Wive sense of humor !!!!
We visited all these Buc'ee's in 2022 - 2024 Buc'ee Springfield, Missouri #62 2024 Buc'ee Crossville, Tennessee #50 2022 Buc'ee in Richmond, Ky Highway 75 #55 2022 Buc'ee in Denton Texas #39 2023 and twice to Terrell, Texas #36 2022 & 2023
love tour videos don't change a thing
@@scottnichols147 Thank you ☺️ We appreciate the kind words!
The international sounds great , then you could pull something even bigger 35 - 40 ft no problem . Look forward to your vids 👍👍👍👍👍
If the salesman says he thinks a 3/4 ton truck could pull the Sporttrek, I would be concerned. Have to look at pin weight as well. I would check and upgrade to a Ford one-ton w/ diesel.
80s square body
We were full-time in our 375..sports track..we loved it..every rv comes with problems..but ours is nice
Use vanilla extract for the nats and mosquitoes it really works!
@@gregb4934 I’ve heard that! Gonna have to try it!
We have a 327 sport track..love the storage..it pulls very nicely 👌 ❤
Also..here's a tip..buy in the fall..because of their new 2025..shipments come in the fall..just saying
Me and my husband are shopping..we own a sports track..looking at alliance/brinkley
So we've owned a sports track..venture for 3 yrs..we really like the storage..and layout
Okay, I had to do a second comment…solely to show my appreciation for Jarrett’s HeeeeAaaAILLL NO! I’m not sure you’re considered southern, but that was VERY southern! 😅 I loved it!
@@RVUntethered growing up in Kentucky I’ve always considered myself a Southerner I suppose. I often get told I need subtitles because no one can understand my redneck vernacular. Jarrett
@@OurNextAdventurejvh HAHA! I understood it...but they may not be saying much...
We just put the Sport Trek on our list to look at, when we get ready. I love it! I wasn’t crazy about the closet option. Thank you for mentioning the outlets. It CAN be an issue.
Have you thought about looking at a used rv?
You two sound very spoiled. Things aren't always peachy at home either. You are glamping. You need to skip the pools and go for hikes and jump in fresh running river water and appreciate what god gave us ❣️
@@carmenmyer8985 😂 well ya probably haven’t seen many of our videos or been camping with us since 2012, since before we had a channel, cuz we do those things too. But sure do love our glampy RV resorts! No shame in our game!
I vote for the truck videos! Regarding solar, I was able to convince the manufacturer to add a ton of solar and lithium to a 27 foot trailer. We could run everything, including A/C, off the batteries. Great for rest areas, when working on the camper at the storage lot, or being able to cool down the RV before setting up at a campground. On the new fifth wheel, I'm greatly reducing the solar and increasing the batteries. I'll rely on the campground's electricity to charge, maybe I'll add a DC-to-DC charger to use the truck's alternator, but I'm no longer interested in the weight of an acre of panels on the roof.
Stay away on a holiday week/end very busy, golf carts/scooters all over the place, mostly kid's. People jumping the locked gate to the pool to reserve seats before workers get there to clean/unlock gate at pool.
So did you fall off your camper roof in 15?
@@jopo9359 Haha, nope! Fell off a 4’ ladder looking into an attack on the job. Got me a brand new elbow that day.
We have a grand design and have one discharge hose for black and grey tanks. That was one thing that sold me on grand design.
I love the quality of Alliance. If we could afford the tow vehicle to go with it, we'd have one.❤ Best wishes on a great one for y'all. Happy trails!❤🙏
Alliance
She pulled the leftover pancakes out of the pantry? Throw em out 🤢.
@@kjb04147 😂 they were literally made that morning before we got home, like 2 hours earlier.
I would definitely watch a build of an old truck! I'm casting my vote for the International.
I’m going to get about 600ah’s and a generator, I’m not a fan of solar or boondocking
We just bought a SportTerk 5 STTF 353 VRK Pull it with a RAM 2500 6.4 HEMI it pulls it just fine. Love the floor plan and all the space this rig has to offer. Not so happy with the quality of workmanship of the unit. Working through some issues.
We have an Open Range Light 335mbh and it is 38 ft long and we LOVE it!!! We pull it with a Chevy 2500 gas and it does fantastic!
I'd definitely watch, a cummins swapped square body would be cool. I had a feeling that you were a gearhead.
I love old cars and like to be different in a world where everything is the same. I think a Cummins swap would be cool as well and way cheaper than a new/newer truck. It should get better fuel mileage, no doubt. I would probably run a twin-turbo setup to avoid smoke, and it should make big torque numbers.
I'd sure be interested in watching the build. My vote is for the international.
Lippert sucks
What I wanta know is what’s the brand on the foam cannon. If it survived that fall unlike the one I had then it’s gotta be a good one
@@terrynall2152 Haha it’s Chemical Guys. The link is in the description. Pretty durable I suppose!
Definitely would watch the truck build.
Had a 2013 Jayco with a BAL NGX frame (Huck bolts). Never had any issues with the frame or signs of any significant rust throughout the 10 years of owning it. Just purchased a (brand new)2024 Keystone Bullet with all Lippert frame and components it already has rust everywhere. The rear bumper internally is rusted throughout, all of the beams where they have exposed ends have rust especially internally. The A frame has rust on all the wields. Now maybe a lot of this is surface rust but rust is rust. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.
Nice job on the roof!!!
