Fantastic and unexpected! I had worked on this project briefly helping my colleagues from the British Council with some interpreting for the Iron Horse and a bit of management for their join concert with Sogdiana in Samarkand which was not easy as the authorities decided to increase the audience by forcing the delegates of a provincial forum dedicated to the 8th March (International Women's Day) to remain in the hall for the performance. Needless to say that most of these being aged Uzbek ladies from collective farms and villages, began to leave soon after the show started - but then it went on quite well when only the interested listeners and viewers remained. It was a great performance and I still have the Iron Horse - Sogdiana CD in my collection. Good memories! It is so nice to know that the collaboration is going on - I've never heard of it here in Tashkent! Now, the funny bit is that I came across this recording not because of any Uzbek connection but thanks to Andy Edwards' brilliant programmes on prog rock! I have been listening to them almost every day for some time now and immensely enjoying them - and the KZread algorithm brought me here and made made really happy. Congratulations and all the best to the Registan Group and to the Law of Three as well!
