Do you realy think a fish like that cound for any thing else as for lunch....ore to check something,how big how many fish comes ore are in thw water,but catching with a side sonar isnt worth as much as without ore with only" a normal echolot,its realy so much easier in comberission if you are fair... But hey,as long you let the important bigvfish go and hold down your numbers of fish you take home its a good way to catch food!

Yeah the issue is… it’s covered in grass there year round 😓 So it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack 🤦♂️

Ive used spoons, spinners, top water frogs and have only caught pike up to 20-23 inch pike.... How do I catch a monster? Bigger baits?

Very cool and clean image! Can I ask what depth this was, and which head unit you are using? Also, the latest ads from Humminbird boast 'new and improved clarity'; when was this video taken? I'm also curious about the software version. The video comparisons between Garmin and Humminbird usually have better imagery from Garmin, but I'm hoping that Humminbird has caught up with software upgrades as I would like to avoid the Garmin 'black box' contraption for ease of switching between open water and ice fishing. Thanks for the video!
This was 2 years ago, on 8m of depth. Imho down has always been on par and sometimes even better on Humminbird. Forward Facing is where Garmin definitely has an edge in terms of range and bait tracking
