I think the camera pushes a lot of water and that's why the pike are interested in the camera

I definitely found that I catch a lot more of these big guys on the pause I pause my baits more often these days and usually get hammered on pause.

Pike react to electeomagnetic field. That's why they hit the camera.

I used to be able to fish the st. Lawrence River from my grandfather's house on Tar Island. All you need is a red and white with a silver backing and at least a 12in steel leader. Northern pike are hungry all the time and will eat anything! Good luck!
