Remove all dams, constrictions and barriers to the natural flow of the Colorado River. All rivers for that matter. Then and only then will nature begin to heal itself. We know what is happening. We just can't stop it. How can we get it to rain more? I don't think we have figured that out yet on a massive scale. More and more rivers are not returning to the ocean. This makes our oceans unlivable for the life that lives in them. We are killing our planet! It may take awhile but it is very consistent.. Too many people, not enough drinkable water.. Take all the moisture out of the air, and we will drastically reduce what little rain that is falling now. Some rivers have so many dams, they are a chain of lakes and not a river at all.. Hydro electric power is limited because it depends on rainfall and flow of water. Desalination plants seem to be our only choice. If we only new what to do with all that salt. Maybe we can just use salty water, and make enough drinkable water to survive. To have a planet covered with 70% water and still die of thrust is poor management on someone's part. The Earth is warming up and we can't stop it. More heat, less rain, less drinkable water. Did you hear about the planet that was covered with 70% water and died of thrust? Dry air sucks up moisture, yet we don; t get enough rain. Why?

Drougth: CA and rest off the South West got 2 choice, fix the problem or keep the water problem! CA got 85,9 m acre foot, Coloumbia river dumps 191,3 m foot into The Pasific every year. Move 10% off this water. Make a 365m long tunnel from Red Bluff. NV, AZ, Mexico keep Colorado water.

The Colorado River ceased being a river decades ago it is now a water delivery conduit more canal than river it is the most managed and altered river in the world and not a drop of it goes unclaimed.

Follow the money trail...cut the reeds, dry them out, use them as a fuel source. Get creative, use what you can. Plant salt cedar, harvest them as a fuel source, use aphids to feed on the salt cedar to produce honeydew as an edible food source (have it tested for pollutants of course). Just do it without anyone knowing about it, big AG cannot make money off this so its been neglected.

i have fished there and i can tell you the fishing is fantastic. I almost caught one that would have weighed at least 50 lbs. Unfortunately it got off the hook right at the edge of the water and ran away as fast as its 6 legs could carry it. and its 3rd eye was staring at me as it disappeared over the horizon.

Yes sir I hooked into her and asi it walked up to me asking for some pliers it managed two words and then a single sentence that made no sense until today reading your comment. "Wheres Jimmy" it said then noticing I could not speak and about to throw up it jumped and spun 180 degrees and moonwalking back to the water it muttered "baby needs its daddy" and the last thing I saw was 2 3rd eyes going underwater over the horizon.
