Check out WT metall mobile hürde, it's magnetic, the dog won't get stuck to it like that and also, the dog will be really reluctant to push of from it, because it just falls down if they try and they don't like the feeling. I hope the dog is doing allright.
Maybe you don't need to buy a german one, but there is the one next to you.
Where can I get one? What exactly is it called? Magnetic Jump? I will look into it, thanks.
@@dogtrainingismypassionin German it's MOBILE HÜRDE from WT metall, that is the company. But that is in Germany, see if they ship to US. Also check if there is something like MOBILE HURDLE or Magnetic hurdle in the US.
I live in Germany that is why. But if they don't ship to US, and there is none in the US, I could take a look and send it to you.
@armour2king Thank you! Will definitely look into it!
I would just like to say that having used the Koehler Method for 50 yrs on pet dogs, attack dogs,k9 dogs, bomb dogs etc. Putting water in the hole they dug and holding them there for 15-20 seconds was a great way to stop diggers. worked on every dog I did it with(to many to recall). Be ready to be wet and muddy when you are done! LOL PS- The poison proofing technique works unbelievably well. The book is great.
I don’t have a problem with a lot of the book, but now we can replace some of those old troubleshooting techniques I believe.
@@dogtrainingismypassion I agree,my wife and I didn't use everything as it seemed slightly primitive and possibly cause the ruining of a dog. The full obedience course worked awesome. Its time consuming but well worth the pay off. Good vid by the way. I do agree with you.
@kevinb9745 Thank you for your feedback!
What about the little 🐕
I love that little one.
You guys better call Cesar my daughter pit so sweet his 7 yrs old and hus mind like a puppy still he a babyed
So, as a decades long dog owner, having spayed and neutered countless pets over the years blindly believing I was doing the best possible thing for their well being will never rush to that conclusion again. My latest 2 dogs one male one female has led to catastrophe. My male at age 7 was diagnosed with not only hypothyroidism but also Cushings disease, very rare to have both in one dog and both are endocrine conditions. Even my own Vet stated that the occurrence of these illnesses is happening at a much much younger rate. Not only is this heartbreaking for the dog, the financial cost to the owner is enormous and ongoing. I have spent thousands to keep him alive and to a degree well, but I also know I have shortened his lifespan. My girl is 3yrs old and I am battling obesity in her which again is directly linked to her spaying. I have learned a major lesson, any future dogs will remain intact until such time as they reach full maturity and allow nature to actually do what nature intended. I love my Vets this is not Vet hate to me, but my Vets, now knowing what has happened to my dogs are in agreement for my personal decisions. I am a responsible pet person, they don't roam the streets, they are well trained and controlled. Thanks for your wonderful vid..
I’m so sorry to hear that! These lessons are hard lessons to learn so I completely understand!
Wow! I think see is catching on very well. She is so pretty.
Indeed!
Yes sir the dog knows the difference between a human and a dog, between teeth and metal. Stop thinking dogs are dumb people they know the difference. The biggest problem people having when using the prong collar they do not communicate to the dog what they want the dog to do. You must praise and correct what you want, when the dog know what you want and Don't want the dog will be obedient and even tempered
Thank you for your feedback. 🙏
Boriiiiiiioonnnggggggg you
What is funny at any moment? ????
yeah, probably a little heavy handed, but Koehler knew what most people today have forgotten....we are at the top of the food chain and do/should have dominion over the animals.
That I agree with.
Great training ❤❤
Thank you 🙏
Gyda sure wants to go play with Cinco. She is a good dog. Thank you
Cinco can be a little much so we keep him at bay 😂. But she is a good girl.
Non mi piace assolutamente questo addestramento...invita cattiveria
Why is that?
But sometimes we have in fact, just woke up from a nap haha.
Naps are great lol. Just not right before a consult.
There is a lot in that short video. Very thorough.
Thank you for your support
I wish they understood that where I live in trashy INKSTER, MI!! 🤬THESE MORONS REFUSE TO LEASH THEIR DOGS. EVERYDAY ITS A NEW DOG!. LEASH YOUR PETS FOLKS🤦🏼♀️
Bullshit!!!
You describe ignorant owner behavior. If you exercise them, train them, crate them, give them something to engage with there is no need for yelling.
Correct 👍
Stop yelling at your dog what is wrong with you. Set them up for success you have the higher IQ right?
Interesting but that does not help prevent or change the unwanted behavior so not helpful. If you allow that behavior to occur wirh no correction you already lost. Come on. Crate the dog! Youre supposed to have the higher IQ
When one of my dogs was a puppy my dad screamed at him for chewing up one of his new work boots, after that any time he chewed a shoe while we were gone we found him hiding at the top of the stairs looking guilty af. Funniest part though, you vould show him an in tact shoe and he'd be normal but show him the chewed up match for the same shoe and he'd act guilty.
That’s exactly what my point was in the clip. They learn through association like your dog did.
My old dog used to rat on herself if she did something she shouldn’t. She’d come and find me, crashing through the door half hyperventilating and then lead me to the evidence with her head and tail down. No idea the logic of this but she was a dog smart enough to get her favourite sofa spot by taunting the other dog with their favourite toy and tossing it the second they moved 🤷♀️
Yeah sounds like a very smart animal
Why do people think animals are stupid
They definitely think different and sometimes they surprise us.
Not stupid. Just different.
They aren't stupid, they are finely tuned for their species. They are only stupid if you compare them to a human. Intelligence for a dog could mean he's good at finding something, or can sense something is wrong. It's a completely different skill set. There's also other kinds of intelligence like emotional intelligence. It's too hard to compare human intelligence to a dogs, they are both highly successful species in their own way.
I love this sweet, gentle bear! 🐻
does this apply to markers as well? like Yes or No is followed by a consequence. Does that extend the time of association?
Markers are a bridge. So if the markers are delivered within 1.3 secs, it applies to them as well.
Don't you just love the Russian national anthem!
Awwww he's cuuute!! I think dogs are so adorable with that spotlight color around one eye!😍😍🥰
Totally agree!
Uh, we have a beautiful dog that barks at house guests. loves some barks at others, one day with bark collar, immediate results. Whatver side effect, we will take it, she actually sat down and chilled and it was a lot less stressful than her sitting under the bed barking.
Glad it worked out for you.
Good traing❤
Thank you 🙏
Good dog, good trainer❤
Thank you 🙏
What was the score?
Don’t remember. I got first place. I got the higher protection score of the two level 3s that competed.
She is a sweet gitl

Love this!!! It’s always great listening to you explain the reasons why we do things and why we don’t do things with our dogs. I’ve been listening for a long time and your knowledge has helped us tremendously. Thank you sir!! 🐺⚔️

This was extremely helpful. You pointed out so many reasons not to get a bark collar, and really encouraged me to weigh whether the benefits would outweigh the costs. In my case, there are times I want my dog to alert me to possible problems using his bark; just not all the time (like when a neighbor is just jogging past our back yard.) So I'll just use a martingale and a long line to try to teach him not to bark in a "no threat" situation and won't use a bark collar which would instill in him a fear of barking in each and every situation. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful
I have a 12 month boxer female. Looking at spaying for health reasons. Mammary cancer.
