Great tips even i am 2 months late 😂. I did the same mistake you made by enchanting a greater affix hoping to get a different one. 😂
Thank you! How cool that would have been if you could reroll greater affixes?
The 1 and 2 thank you now I understand why I can’t survive lol
Yeah, I kept helping people when they were dying a lot and it's usually those two.
I only play D2R on xbox1. Not a fan of the new diablo
D2R is a good game!
Diablo 4 is a very tiring game. My equipment isn't even 5/12 yet and I'm already exhausted from playing. 3 weeks of playing non-stop and no shako. I'm already abandoning the game.
It definitely can be. I would definitely stop or take a break whenever you're not feeling it. The game is getting better all the time and I think there will be a season you want to hit up later, unless you are insanely burnt out.
Don't bother pushing past pit level 101. The rewards aren't worth it and not efficient as farming level 101 repeatedly.
Thanks, man!
I just dont want to be stuck polaying helltide always. and it feels like thats all I do.
Yeah, I'm feeling the same. The rewards are so much better there for gear, gold, materials, temper manuals, uniques, etc... the PTR has moved the better temper manuals to the bosses. Giving more reason to do bossing.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME NOW
Cool 😎
All classes can do their “class specific” quest at lv 15 except Necro. Necro is at lv 25. Sorc must do this as close to 15 as possible (15,16,17) Huge power boost with Fireball enchantment. Also fireball doesn’t have to be on your bar but you do need 1 point in the skill tree. Thanks for all your hard work!!
The fireball explosion does great for clearing. For the strategy in the video I was lvl 32 with my sorc in one and a half helltides and I just did the class quest then and finished the capstone. It was pretty smooth. You are so welcome!
My strategy is upgrade my gear all the way to 12/12 and first reset it when I got all the mats to upgrade it to 12/12 again
What does that do? Is it just to rerolls all the masterworking to get the rolls you want?
@@OwnModeGaming basically yeah! Its for getting a higher potential of stats 😅
Great videos man you've helped me out a lot
Awesome, man! So glad!
Hahah when you are not having fun anymore “play Necro” .😂😂😂
😁
How in the heck are you completing tier 20 pit with only 13k attack power??
Easily, jk! Some builds its not about how high the attack power but the background mechanics (things that happen with skills, paragon nodes, aspects, etc) that don't add to the attack power, but add a ton of damage.
@7:05 why are you not using the "compare" option?
In early game I’m just checking for higher armor and higher dps and I equip anything better. I’m not worrying about the affixes. Takes out a lot of decisions on stuff I’m not going to have for long. In endgame (wt4 and after) I’m using the compare a ton.
how do we get these resistances adjusted?
Add gems that give you the protection or temper armor with "natural resistance recipe" under defence tempers. Or if all else fails, find it or enchant it onto your gear.
I like a glass cannon build.
They are fun!
On a side note, I remember trying to put in the hearts for the Maiden but no one was around to help. I just regularly farmed Helltides and after a while i rode past the same area and all the loot was on the floor. If anyone just wants loot you dont have to wait around if you accidentally put one in
Standing on the side during Helltides (Maiden) on Hardcore is not recommended. Go to town if you need to. Take your time in Hardcore. Prep for more defense.
**Hardcore Players** the above comment is a solid tip for you. Thanks man!
I got popped in hardcore doing that. Boss did some massive quad hit when i thought I was out of her range. HT is really the only place I get concerned about dying
If it's your second play through as soon as you can temper thorns and max life and put needle flare on a two handed weapon and walk around like you own the place. If the tempers are legendary, it will double your life and kill everything.
That is awesome! I want to do a thorns Barb soon. 👍👍Pls thumbs up👍 the comment above so more people see it, ty!👍👍
Shit I just start a new toon, temper all my gear every time I switch out and I’m hitting lvl 50 quick af just doing helltides. Also buying the legendary leveling gear really is much better for leveling than waiting for gear sometimes especially at low levels
Nice! What class are you running?
The events in ND's is where it's at
Yeah, they can get insane!
Would these events provide most exp?
@@Kiduk90in a lot of peoples opinion yes. Rax attempted to level all 5 classes to 100 in a single day he spent the entire time just running nightmare dungeons. Helltides are very effective as well those are about the only two strategies. Helltides are far more dangerous than nightmare dungeons but also less boring.
@@Kiduk90Yes the events in the dungeons provide the most XP per hour compared to anything else in the game
Nice! Thanks for the vid!
You are so welcome!
Also at level 35 there is a potion you can craft from a quest which gives you poison resistance and an extra 5% exp that you can use on top of any other Elixir for a total of 13% exp and then make essence on top for even more exp boost.
Yeah, the antivenin and it also adds a decent life life bump. I have a quick walk through in my last video (kzread.info/dash/bejne/YnZ8tKRuqtKtl7w.html) on exactly how to get the recipe.
I heard they are patching it in S5 so you won’t be able to use it with another potion so enjoy while you can!
Bring back the crusader!!!!
So the game came undercooked because they had an expansion to be released so early haha, jesus christ this company
It will be more than a year, i think that's a good time for an expansion. I do agree that it released undercooked that is for sure.
Great tips! Please consider fixing the background music to a fixed volume so it doesnt start/stop all the time when you're talking.
Thank you, I really appreciate it I can't make changes to the current video, but all later videos have fixed this problem. It seems to be fine for people not listening in headphone. I think it's something to do with having the bass turned up that makes it worse.
That blood Maiden summons someone that obliterates me every time.
Ohh man. I totally was oblivious to the first 2 tips 😮
- click shift when hovering over an item in the inventory and it will compare to the item you wear. - salvaging items with socketed gems will give the gems back. (and also masterworking material and uber unique sparks!) - elixir of Antivenim will not stack anymore in Season 5, but for now its cheap and great
Thank you, great adds! 👍👍Pls thumbs up 👍 the comment above so more people can see it, ty!👍👍
No thanks. Base dlc edition is 54$ + tx so 62$ cdn for a bit of story, a new co-op raid I will never use, a new class when I still have 2 I have never used and a new area that will have nothing. No helltide there cuz everyone without it will go 1 hr with no helltide. And the season will not be based on anything with the dlc cuz it will lock out so many out of it. when it's 20$, i'll think about it.
I think it's more than a bit of story but, your point makes sense. What classes haven't you run yet?
@@OwnModeGaming barb and druid. Never tried those. About the story, have you replayed the main story since seasons started? I bet no. Same will happend with that dlc story. A one time thing, maybe 2 and it's back to seasons. So new area, co-op stuff, new class, it's all there is after a couple days, not worth anything for me.
@@pierrepellerin249 cool :)
Main tip is, be a minion focused Necro build = easy mode
Yep! Bash or Flay Barb also solid choice.
@@OwnModeGaming facts 💯 😁
I never noticed the Helltide threat meter. Lol
Nice!
Serious question. Why are you in such a hurry to level and finish the game? I do find your videos very helpful and informative, but I also like to see and experience the whole game. It’s more satisfying to me to explore and enjoy the game rather than racing to the end. Just my thoughts.
It's not level and finish the game its get to new builds and new material. I have done the leveling thing a ton, the fun for me is seeing where i can speed it up and having the ability of taking more character to endgame to try a ton of builds. For anybody that is doing the campaign for the first time I think they should take their time. It is an awesome storyline. For people that have taken many characters into endgame, like me, I think they can get burnt out spending a ton of time on things they have already done, time and time again.
Leveling alts for shards, I'm on my 3rd 100 and I'm ready to push as fast as possible.
@@Barlee420 My next video is actually a leveling guide. It should be up Tuesday
@@OwnModeGaming Yeah, like doing the Nightmare dungeons over and over and over again. I get fatigued by the time I have my major glyphs leveled to around 17. And, just a heads up, I've had unmarked legendaries that leveled up tempering, so I've gotten careful about simply selling them. I always scrap the ones which have the abilities I most rely on.
If you aren't lvl 100 you are missing paragon points. Getting to 100 doesn't finish the game, it starts it 👍🏾
Greater affixes keep you trapped lol ... unless it's amazing I don't keep them cuz you can't change without ruining the piece..I like to be able to change up for different situations
I agree, I don't keep any greater affixes that have affixes I don't want and I even get rid of ones that have a good greater affix but the other 2 affixes suck. I still think the power difference is worth it for true min/maxing your build and for pushing the pit.
Not going to lie, been playing since the beta and didn't know a couple of these. Very helpful.
Thank you!
Are you actually sure your armor is capped? I wonder if that 85 is 84.8 rounded of for visibility or sth xD
Lol! Thats funny, I thought the same to myself after I recorded that. I had an impulse to jump back in and make sure I had max by masterworking my armor piece that had the armor affix.
So should I use this build than heart seeker ? Because my nightmare clears are slower than usual now I have vul and it procs I have the traps they take a bit for cooldown which hurts my dmg it feels slow at times
I'm not sure what you're asking. My rogue was a heartseeker rogue. Are you running the victimize passive? I felt the same about it feeling slow.
@@OwnModeGaming yes so I was wonder what’s another option
@@doms587 Raxx did a video that talked about speed run modifications for all the classes and rogue is supposedly the fastest. Here is the link kzread.info/dash/bejne/hHigyLmmeKqTmJM.htmlsi=dFDL7dhAsnM3DRJ8 I think the comments have direct links to the build planner.
@@OwnModeGaming thanks dude
@@OwnModeGaming by the way he said spec out of smoke grenade and go all passives what do you think ?
Charging full game price for an expansion.... feels like LOD.
I got those same kind of boots with the +27% to movement speed. Then an amulet with +10 & +15. So, 52% base speed now on a Firewall Sorcerer. Then you add the +25% from running thru my firewall and I'm book'n it.
That is awesome!
If you have to push a button to mark the item you're selling, why not just push a button to sell said item?
So you don't have to look at it twice, once when you look at the items you pick up, and second when you decide what you should sell or keep or salvage. Just Mark it as you look at it the first time
You can do either way now that they have removed the “are you sure” pop up when selling legendaries. This way still does give extra protection as there is a limit on buy backs when already sold but it’s easy to un slash.
@OwnModeGaming speaking of which, why is there a limited amount of buy back? It can't be too difficult to add a slider to the bottom. And on the subject of the trash marking, I'm on console. If I was still on my pc, I'd have no complaints. But on console, it's a pain.
@@4inchFury I agree! I play both keyboard and controller and feel more often forced to use keyboard way more often.
Great video, thanks. Regarding the armour cap, does that mean that any aspects that build additional armour or any potion buffs are useless if you're already there? Thanks
Thank you! Yes, it makes additional armor points useless, from any source. You can still get “damage reduction” affixes or paragon nodes.
@@OwnModeGaming That's great to know, thanks for replying
@@smif7t3 of course!
When you put the JUNK marker on gear that contains a gem and then sell the gear, you actually are also selling the gem. I don't think that is a good practice.
That is true and if you are short on gems or the material to make them you should definitely break those gear pieces down, rather than sell. 👍👍Please thumbs up👍 the comment above so more people see it, ty!👍👍
Yeah. Learned that the hard way. Fuuuuuuuu*k
***Correction **14:01**: Every Forth Masterwork Gives a 25 % Boost***
You should pin this :)
Off course not buying. The game still broken. Blizzard will hardly see any cents from me.
hey bro great video!, dropped you a like. just curious, this video's about 3 months old at the time i'm watching it, I just started playing again this week because i heard of the new patch/ update. does this stuff still apply? i know they changed the way you upgrade gear. if so will you be making an updated video on the new system? just hit lvl 60, playin necromancer for my first time, wish i started last week and could have used more of the xp bonus lol. thanks in advance if you find time to reply!
Awesome, thank you so much! As far as the gear video goes, a decent amount held up, not the specifics but the way of thinking did. I do have a video on getting ready for crushing season 4 start that has a lot about gearing. I will be doing another gear video in about two weeks. I just updated the video outline for the gear update. I'm editing two videos right now and as soon as those are done I'll be recording the gear video.
quick note: the 4/8/12 masterworking are 25% boost each, not 20%.
Yeah, I slipped up in the video and didn't catch it and once it's posted I can't even put a correction note on the video. I'll put a pinned comment on it.
We need a Set Loadout (Gear, Paragon and Class Specific) maybe 3 load outs would be good? Also we need a loot filter :\
I would love both of those. Once you play a game with a great loot filter it's hard not to have one.
Life pro tip, bring your voice activation down a little, it’s cutting like half of your voice and sentences.
Yeah, I fixed it in future videos. It also is only an issue for some and others don't notice it at all. I have no real idea why.
@@OwnModeGaming sweeet. Good stuff, really enjoying the content now that Diablo IV is proper. Thank you Mr OwnMode
@@WGetterPGod You are very welcome!
I have been playing diablo 4 since launch. I only play eternal realm so will the expansion be accessible in the eternal realm?
The expansion will most definitely come to eternal at launch. There is a whole new area that supposed to be almost as big as the current. There is a new campaign and the of course the new class. There may be seasonal stuff that launches at the same time that you won't have access to, but the most important stuff will be accessible.
Holy Bolts dont work right now as i type this
Yeah, turned off the benefit to fix a bug rather than leaving it alone while they fixed the bug and then updating it.
I am a casual player, and I enjoy your videos. That said, and this may sound silly, but why would anyone raise their glyphs beyond 15? Is there a power difference I'm not aware of? Thanks.
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying them! As for the glyph question... Every level a glyph gets, makes it more powerful. There is a big boost at 15 because of the radius boost, which makes it easy to hit the secondary requirement. But levels 16 - 21 continue to give you a boost for each level. You can even see what when you are leveling it, it will show you the increased values for the glyph. So, by the time all your glyphs are 21 there is a significant boost to overall power.
@@OwnModeGaming Thanks, I will keep on leveling them.
