    There is a T-shirt that says ‘ My attitude depends on my dog’ 😂 But true. My dog love to cuddle and want to be close to me. And I like it when he is next to me and cuddle. My dogs is sometimes dirty. But I clean him. People are more disgusting. I can give many examples. But think many can or virtualize some issues or watch you tube. Many people got no manners. That awful. Yes you have to clean your house more, wash your clothes and clean up your bed. But my dog is happy and feel safe.❤

    Beds and couches do not lead to dominance. Cleanliness issue yes. Dominance issue no.

    That’s your opinion, I’ve been working with dogs for over 15 years and it definitely leads to those issues without underlying solid obedience.

  • @Speurneuscosmo
    @Speurneuscosmo12 сағат бұрын

    True. I think about service dogs who always on or near the bed/couch or in the personal space to keep an eye on his owner. But there is a lot difference when a dog owns the space and learn nothing else and got no engagement with their owner. It is the same thing with toys. As an owner you make the rules, you will end the game and correct when needed. I think dominance will be worse when a dog controls you and that starts with proper leash training and follow the basic commands and most importent, ask permission by watching to you and then get a command. Starts when a dog is still a puppy and must wait patiently for his food and not jump up and start eating when you put the kibble for his nose. how the owner act around dogs is importent to. They smell when you are nervous of to stressed. Than dogs take over controle can lead to growling when they are on the bed or couch and don’t let them into your space. Or when they live in a unhealthy environment with no rules, to much stress. I got my own dog and 5 I babysit. All dogs wants to be next to me on the couch and cuddle. They not fighting over it and wait patiently for their turn and I tell them ‘off’ when they must. Also they aren’t allowed in the kitchen. They all wait on the invisible line. So, I think a dog can be dominant when he wants to control his space when there are no rules, life in a toxic environment and got a nervous/stressed owner. You see it with people. If there are no rules, people will create their own to feel safe and control the situation.

    Wrong advice. What you should do is build a good fence with sally ports. You want a dog that will attack an intruder. If you train it and it attacks, you are liable because you trained it to do so. Don't train, just keep control of them until the time is right.

    My baby is only 2/3 bullish (DNA: American Pitbull, American Bully, Shepherd, Super Mutt -likely chow). The pitty personality is strong in her. She's sweet and mellow. She melts from as much affection as you're willing to give. She's a sweety baby. She's quirky and playful. She's a scAredy cat with a strong flight response to thunder, lound bangs and senses of danger She also has a HIGH pray drive to small animals Despite all that, she also thinks she's a badazz and is always game to "play challenge". She's gentle but she's strong AF. And she will put on a strong front in the face of stranger danger where you can't tell she's a scary little shix. I 🤔 thought I knew pitties, having worked in a shelter. Knowing them and OWNing them, are too different things. She's a whole mix of pitty personality and it was a LEARNING curve. Before her I only owned dobie and rottie shep mixes. I will NOT have more than one dog with her. She's too reactive as is. TWO of them? I could do it if I had to...😮‍💨 But I KNOW I ain't up to it and don't want to

    Dude none of those dogs were pitbulls they were all bullies you should know the difference talking about dogs. Do you research on bullies the EXL they have Mastiff blood in them, and the miniatures have French bulldog blood usually. So the XLS are going to potentially be more man aggressive because of the Mastiff blood they are guard dogs. There's only one breed that deserves the name pitbull that is a real American Pitbull Terrier like mine.
