Not me having flash backs to those old mobile games I used to play

As a fellow guitarist that hurt so much when no one gave you kudos for Big Sur Moon. They don’t realize the amount of effort and skill it takes to learn that and the amount of work it takes to dial in that perfect tone and delay. But that performance rocked bro you definitely deserved that first place win 💯👊🏼

Ive seen your talent show video. Absolutely amazing!! When did you start to learn guitar, and does learning hard solos help?
@arturogardunoguitar16 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! I got my first guitar in 2014. Played on and off and didn’t get serious till about 2016. Rocksmith 2014 is how I learned like 80 or 90% of the stuff I play today. It has amazing tutorials on techniques for beginners and intermediate players. So I never took any in lessons. In terms of learning hard solos, I’d say learn what you want to learn first. Then if you want to get into the harder stuff, go for it. The first few years I was only able to play AC/DC or Metallica stuff. I have been playing for 10 years now and now I’m playing Eric Johnson, Guthrie Govan, Jason Becker and Buckethead stuff. But I’m always trying to improve. Push yourself beyond your comfort zone but don’t overdo it cause when people try to do the hard stuff immediately and can’t get the hard stuff down they end up quitting.

Why do metal players want to demo a 59 LP so badly?
@arturogardunoguitar2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t call myself a metal player since I play almost anything. But I guess it’s a whole brand thing cause of the significance of the LP. I personally don’t like them and think they are way overpriced, bulky, and fragile for what they are. The LTD EC-256’s I tried had way better specs, was more comfortable and cheaper.
@81ghale2 ай бұрын
@@arturogardunoguitar I agree on the overpriced part. For sure. And your short isn’t really what I was referring to, I should have said that, I had just come from searching for videos of this specific guitar to hear it, and every one I saw was a guy shredding on it like it’s an Ibanez 😂. I get a guitar can be used for whatever the owner wants it to be used for, but certain guitars do shine in certain genres and not in others, and the vintage style LP’s are one of those guitars, in my opinion. It just doesn’t show what it can do when it’s overloaded with distortion and drop A tuning lol.

At the end I said I was slowly warming up to them but then again, I’ve tried so many different Epiphone and Gibson models of guitars and I just can’t seem to vibe with them. Yes I can play fine on them but the big chunky necks, big heavy bodies and the fact that the headstocks break off more easily than a Hollywood couple is the reason why I don’t own one.
