Royale High is meant to be a roleplay game! That was originally its main purpose. Now people still roleplay, but not as much unfortunately though it’s still supposed to be its purpose. It really is a great game, hopefully once the rest of the new school is out roleplaying will come back.

I quit when trading came out because that ruined it for me. I was an OG player as it was one of the first games i ever played on the platform 8 years ago. I knew it would turn into a farming game and that’s i’d never be able to enjoy the actual game itself.

the fact that royal high has hit 9.9B NOT 1 MILLION 2 MILLION NOT EVEN 1BILLION but almost 10 BILLION people in the roblox community has played royal high, and to see that almost 9,000 are playing right now? is absolutely insane, you would have to think that they deleted the game, and re-uploaded it. it’s actually insane. and many people from the royal high community is quitting!!! (i did. quit but decided to go back to playing because number one roblox was getting boring, number two, i have spent more then 100$ on royal high. no not roblox, just royal high… so why would i just leave a game, as it is, when i have spent my time and money on it (i have been playing for 4 years) just to quit? i mean don’t get me wrong, i did actually quit for 5 months, but decided to go back to royal high just a few days ago… but the important message is, is that this is really the downfall of royal high. i mean seriously never in my 4 years of playing (and a few of my friends agree who have been playing for like 7yrs) has said that royal high has never gotten this low in players. (other then when js starting) it’s really outrageous. and can we not talk abt how rude the royal high community has become?! i mean i come into the trading hub and all i see is ppl arguing with eachother bc apparently one said that they would give the other a skirt in the bathing quarters, i see somebody who is saying “trading adopt me stuff for rh stuff!!” 💀 and i see somebody begging for diamonds. i mean seriously maybe the begging for diamonds and the cross trading was b4 this whole new school thing, but it’s gotta stop. and still, even though i don’t like the developers, some people in royal high are disgusting. DISGUSTING. i can’t remember it was prob the halloween update i think but callmehbob was sick SICK she couldn’t get out of bed, and in her group people were sending threats, and not just any threats but DEATH THREATS… are you insane?? r u kidding me? i mean what have we become?! you know she is trying her best with the new school and everything. and people just want more and more and more. i mean, she’s one person she can only do so much. she’s human too. but still, just because i state all that, does not mean i like her. Honesty, i appreciate the worl you do, this is honestly masterpiece, you are unlike any other yotuber I've seen, speaking out about these topics, informing others how many younger people are vulnerable while also making things like the insightfulness, the editting, the thought put in to the this, the creation of the crafting this entire video on its own is just absolutely amazing. As someone who used to play this game on my old account and actually spent real money on it, every single day that I logged in, I felt so burnt out (and this was during the era when Barbie used to stream on Twitch while working on the beach house) like yeah I was rich but when I traded my hard earned Enchantress boots (something I literally grinded for weeks and weeks) for a dress that only costed like 50k in the shop, it made me felt so sad and empty. Thanks to that, it made me start a whole trading addiction. Thankfully I stopped playing the game for years and I would never go back to it again no matter how tempting it would be.

As sad as it is to see the game fade, Royale high really isn't everything and you shouldn't make it your whole life. Beacause the game has no worth and you're putting all your time and hard work into something that won't even benefit you in the long run. We should also not blame the devs and barbie because at the end, it is your responsibility on how your spending you're money and time on. If you're mature enough, you should be well aware on the fact that you dont owe the game anything and barbie and the devs dont owe you either. This is barbie's game/platform you guys decided to hop on the train. Besides, some games die eventually. i think this was long overdue. Let it go.

bro fr like everyone who plays royale high now are teenagers and adults not elementary school kids like how it used to be, so now everyone is farming for sets and clothing items and nobody is roleplaying or even talking. like when i tell you the amount of times i go to a classroom or the main area or the office or whatever in campus 3 literally nobody is talking aside from people asking for study sesh. and on the topic of quests for a lot of them you have to buy stuff to complete it. like study sesh, you can't do it if you don't have textbooks in your locker, or the ones that tell you to a grab a drink from the vending machine. and if you want to roleplay you have to have the money to decorate your locker and your dorm. you have to have the money to have cute outfits and you have to pay for gamepasses for the most simple stuff and that takes too much money and too much time. I've been playing since 2017 and it really has changed sm i miss when people are actually talking and roleplaying and just idk dude it's not a roleplay game anymore it's literally made for you to spend hours on it and spend loads of money on it. and i also hate how they hype up so many updates, like campus 3. i saw so many leaks and pics of it and i got so excited for it but years later there's still phases that are coming out. like i got on the other day after not playing for a year and saw that there were still places that said "coming soon." and that's always been a rh problem i feel like but it's just insane to me. in my opinion the best time in royale high after its downfall was probably summer 2021. i mean the the event was amazing, the story was amazing, the quests were amazing i just wish they did more stuff like that. i really like the story mode feature and the choosing your power feature and the quests it really has so much potential but idek dude i have no clue what their problem is anymore because they have this whole team and all these developers and I'm just confused why they can't do better with the updates they hype up so much?? slso campus 3 doesn't even have the schedule which i mean could probably be because not all classes are out yet lmao but still like the old campuses had the schedule but now it doesn't. you get to choose your class and you really only have one actual class atm which just shows that royale high is not for roleplaying anymore. and i know i talked about this a little but i really hate how nobody talks anymore. it's sad despite the amount of people there literally nobody talks. I'm unfortunately in another rh phase right now and I've been playing a lot the past few days. literally ONE class i joined people were talking and it was just about royale high's downfall. like I'm serious one person said "i feel like rh is just pay to win now" and me and other people reminisced about old royale high. the only other times people are talking is for a quest. like it's seriously a problem. the other thing is is how freaking expensive everything is. a couple years ago i bought the diamond gamepasses and the multipliers and stuff (unfortunately) so it's not hard for me to get a lot lol. but without the gamepasses it's literally impossible to get anything anymore. not to mention the candy items during Halloween like tell me why i play for hours just to get like 1,000 pieces and one item like hello?? and i like some of the events during the holidays but they just keep repeating it over and over. like the dewdrop thing and the Christmas advent and the tree. also i used to play with my online friend a lot a few years ago on royale high and we would js roleplay in my private server and let me tell you it's the best thing ever like. we would make up a bunch of characters and a crazy story every month and we never got tired of it. it was genuinely a lot of fun and it's just more lively to join a server and see people talking and everything, which to me i feel like is just a roblox problem as a whole. i joined a few rp school games i found the other day when i was bored and nobody talks or rp anymore fr. and maybe it's because everyone playing roblox are 10 yr olds who act grown asf or old teenagers or young adults. royale high is just one example of the problems of roblox. anyway those are just my thoughts lol but it really is sad to see the progression of royale high from the year it was released to now. i don't want to see what it will be like in a few years in all honesty unless the devs and callmehbob can get their act tg also with how cutesy and positive and girly everything is in the game i feel like it should be a lot better than this

They took away my main way of farming an I’m so mad abt it. I was able to grind and buy a whole 2 sets in a month just picking up dimonds in the campuses. Now I get barley anything and I stopped paying for my priv server since it’s useless for normal players

i watched this while grinding in rh, i legit never noticed this. ive been oblivious to the fact that the game ive spent hundreds of dollars on is based around an addiction quality, that the game where ive made most of my friends before all the massive updates is now a place filled with little kids, grinding to get hundreds of diamonds, begging theyre parents to help get them this new set that gives "donations" to saint jude to help kids, the same game that ive spent almost 5 years of my life on is now a trading ground for gambling. The game is FOR little kids, little girls, since its a dress up game, it mainly attracts little kids, and it seems the rh team does not care at all that they are technically EXPLOITING little kids for money, the game is made for you to get a dopamine rush everytime you level up, give you joy, and happiness everytime you complete a trade, the trading system, and halo system are the worst aspects of the game, yet the team uses those to get most of their money, get most of their player time, theyve now introduced toys which brings even more attraction from LITTLE KIDS. At the point rh could be doing something illegal. It angers me, and scares me at the same time to know that the game i loved in 2020 has now transformed into a game run by money-hungry developers, the same game that has distracted me from the real world before is now the same game that gives me a headache and reminds me of the real world, the same game where ive made most of my friends, is run by people i would consider monsters, and people i hate. I hate how they use the aspect of a dress up game to get theyre money, to get players to use theyre real money to buy robux to turn those to diamonds to spend those diamonds to get items, im scared of the developers, of the whole team as well. I need to talk to my therapist abt this ngl had to rant a little bit, im also kinda late

This is what we call a 'skinner box trap'. My parents used to run one of the top guilds on Ever Quest, one of the first MMORPGs ever, and they lost their jobs over it at some point. My father fell into World of Warcraft next, but less hard, and after they had me, my mother thought about all of the neglectful parents she knew when she was stuck playing these games, and it got her to drop them out of fear. Then when I was five years old, my father set me on his knee, and let me make my first World of Warcraft character. I am very familiar with this type of game, but I've never really seen one like royale high, which appeals to feminine aesthetics, but makes room for male players and is actually made with some standard of quality. It's really unfortunate that it's turned out like this, and the funny thing about it is a lot of the things it does which turns it into a skinner box trap can't even make the devs money. I believe Launce plays a lot of MMORPGs from what I have observed of his streams, so it doesn't surprise me, but it's still very bizarre. I wish everybody who feels stuck playing luck, it's really difficult when you're stuck in a skinner box trap and it's kind of humiliating to admit. Limiting how much you play will help you, though, and you might even enjoy the game again if you do.

i used to make soooo many friends on royal high like even if my close friends couldnt play there was no problem with finding somone u can play with but these days its nearly impossible like, people only look at if you have a cool outfit and most of the people are just farming. i find that the biggest problem with this game bc i loved royal high for the comunity

I spent years (2017-2020??) playing Royale High. It might not seem like much, but I know I had almost all of the game passes. I also was prob around the level 200 or so I think. I had tons of items too. When I went back to play for the first time in years, I was shocked at how different and honestly expensive everything was. And like you said, I almost felt compelled to play because of all the hours and money I spent on the game. My main account got banned though, so I’m glad that at least when I look at Royale High on the home page I don’t feel any guilt for not playing more often.

I still play royal high and I do agree a lot with this, sense the game was released in 2017 everything was so cheap the heels, skirts and the wings were all under one thousand diamonds when the game was just a fan game of the show. I saw another girl talk about this just the prices of all the game passes you paying at least over 25$ on the diamond multipliers alone, and the other game passes are also a lot more than they should be. The diamond store in game where you can buy diamonds for robux, the most diamonds you can buy is 240,000 for 8,000 robux is ridiculous because if you have played in 2024 you’ll know that 240,000 diamonds isn’t going to get you far. The new dolls that have just been released, the valkyrie set is 50$ for a badge and a 6 piece set, and for the new sets that have been released as well 20 dollars for just 1 out of the 11 dolls you can buy, another fun fact about theses dolls is that the company that makes and mass produces these dolls are Zionist (people who support Israel) I am personally not going to be buying theses products for just that reason alone. I am not sure if the developers know that their products are be manufactured by a Zionist company but if so I hope they stop working with them and find a better company to work with. Last thing I want to talk about is the new school as said in the video the school is 25% done after just about a year of being released therefore the game has just gotten boring with the school being the same as it was in August of 2023 with really no new sets other than the ones that cost real life money. That is all I am going to say on this topic of royal high for as of right now

This is exactly how i feel, ive been playing since 2017 and i was young. Thankfully i never spent any money in this game but i took a very long break, i would say about 2 years. Before that break rh was my favorite game, i could play it all day long and i would make so many new friends. I loved campus 2 cause i felt like i could actually learn from there, i would have the best learning classes(i learned how to spell February 🙂) and the best people to play with. But i joined back in july of this year and I was baffled, what is this, this isnt the royal high i know and love, its so greedy and everyone is rude. I genuinely felt like people just ignored each other and lost the whole premise of the game. The creators just dont seem to listen to the audience. I also found out my beloved sets were taken away 💔. The only time i felt included was at sunset island and when you had to do the obby in the dungeon. YET I WAS STILL HOOKED, i spent 7 days straight playing all day just to not even reach 100k diamonds and i felt so burned out, its the same thing iver and over again, it gets exhausting.

I've been playing since 2017 and it really has changed sm i miss when people are actually talking and roleplaying and just idk dude it's not a roleplay game anymore it's literally made for you to spend hours on it and spend loads of money on it. and i also hate how they hype up so many updates, like campus 3. i saw so many leaks and pics of it and i got so excited for it but years later there's still phases that are coming out. like i got on the other day after not playing for a year and saw that there were still places that said "coming soon." and that's always been a rh problem i feel like but it's just insane to me. in my opinion the best time in royale high after its downfall was probably summer 2021. i mean the the event was amazing, the story was amazing, the quests were amazing i just wish they did more stuff like that. i really like the story mode feature and the choosing your power feature and the quests it really has so much potential but idek dude i have no clue what their problem is anymore because they have this whole team and all these developers and I'm just confused why they can't do better with the updates they hype up so much?? slso campus 3 doesn't even have the schedule which i mean could probably be because not all classes are out yet lmao but still like the old campuses had the schedule but now it doesn't. you get to choose your class and you really only have one actual class atm which just shows that royale high is not for roleplaying anymore. and i know i talked about this a little but i really hate how nobody talks anymore. it's sad despite the amount of people there literally nobody talks. I'm unfortunately in another rh phase right now and I've been playing a lot the past few days. literally ONE class i joined people were talking and it was just about royale high's downfall. like I'm serious one person said "i feel like rh is just pay to win now" and me and other people reminisced about old royale high. the only other times people are talking is for a quest. like it's seriously a problem. the other thing is is how freaking expensive everything is. a couple years ago i bought the diamond gamepasses and the multipliers and stuff (unfortunately) so it's not hard for me to get a lot lol. but without the gamepasses it's literally impossible to get anything anymore. not to mention the candy items during Halloween like tell me why i play for hours just to get like 1,000 pieces and one item like hello?? and i like some of the events during the holidays but they just keep repeating it over and over. like the dewdrop thing and the Christmas advent and the tree. also i used to play with my online friend a lot a few years ago on royale high and we would js roleplay in my private server and let me tell you it's the best thing ever like. we would make up a bunch of characters and a crazy story every month and we never got tired of it. it was genuinely a lot of fun and it's just more lively to join a server and see people talking and everything, which to me i feel like is just a roblox problem as a whole. i joined a few rp school games i found the other day when i was bored and nobody talks or rp anymore fr. and maybe it's because everyone playing roblox are 10 yr olds who act grown asf or old teenagers or young adults. royale high is just one example of the problems of roblox. anyway those are just my thoughts lol but it really is sad to see the progression of royale high from the year it was released to now. i don't want to see what it will be like in a few years in all honesty unless the devs and callmehbob can get their act tg also with how cutesy and positive and girly everything is in the game i feel like it should be a lot better than this

As a person who was manipulated as a kid to think that these games were “cool” this just broke my heart.
A part of the problem is the community itself... most of the players like to overpriced some items in the trading hub for no reason at all.
They took away my main way of farming an I’m so mad abt it. I was able to grind and buy a whole 2 sets in a month just picking up dimonds in the campuses. Now I get barley anything and I stopped paying for my priv server since it’s useless for normal players

i watched this while grinding in rh, i legit never noticed this. ive been oblivious to the fact that the game ive spent hundreds of dollars on is based around an addiction quality, that the game where ive made most of my friends before all the massive updates is now a place filled with little kids, grinding to get hundreds of diamonds, begging theyre parents to help get them this new set that gives "donations" to saint jude to help kids, the same game that ive spent almost 5 years of my life on is now a trading ground for gambling. The game is FOR little kids, little girls, since its a dress up game, it mainly attracts little kids, and it seems the rh team does not care at all that they are technically EXPLOITING little kids for money, the game is made for you to get a dopamine rush everytime you level up, give you joy, and happiness everytime you complete a trade, the trading system, and halo system are the worst aspects of the game, yet the team uses those to get most of their money, get most of their player time, theyve now introduced toys which brings even more attraction from LITTLE KIDS. At the point rh could be doing something illegal. It angers me, and scares me at the same time to know that the game i loved in 2020 has now transformed into a game run by money-hungry developers, the same game that has distracted me from the real world before is now the same game that gives me a headache and reminds me of the real world, the same game where ive made most of my friends, is run by people i would consider monsters, and people i hate. I hate how they use the aspect of a dress up game to get theyre money, to get players to use theyre real money to buy robux to turn those to diamonds to spend those diamonds to get items, im scared of the developers, of the whole team as well. I need to talk to my therapist abt this ngl had to rant a little bit, im also kinda late

This is what we call a 'skinner box trap'. My parents used to run one of the top guilds on Ever Quest, one of the first MMORPGs ever, and they lost their jobs over it at some point. My father fell into World of Warcraft next, but less hard, and after they had me, my mother thought about all of the neglectful parents she knew when she was stuck playing these games, and it got her to drop them out of fear. Then when I was five years old, my father set me on his knee, and let me make my first World of Warcraft character. I am very familiar with this type of game, but I've never really seen one like royale high, which appeals to feminine aesthetics, but makes room for male players and is actually made with some standard of quality. It's really unfortunate that it's turned out like this, and the funny thing about it is a lot of the things it does which turns it into a skinner box trap can't even make the devs money. I believe Launce plays a lot of MMORPGs from what I have observed of his streams, so it doesn't surprise me, but it's still very bizarre. I wish everybody who feels stuck playing luck, it's really difficult when you're stuck in a skinner box trap and it's kind of humiliating to admit. Limiting how much you play will help you, though, and you might even enjoy the game again if you do.

i used to make soooo many friends on royal high like even if my close friends couldnt play there was no problem with finding somone u can play with but these days its nearly impossible like, people only look at if you have a cool outfit and most of the people are just farming. i find that the biggest problem with this game bc i loved royal high for the comunity

I spent years (2017-2020??) playing Royale High. It might not seem like much, but I know I had almost all of the game passes. I also was prob around the level 200 or so I think. I had tons of items too. When I went back to play for the first time in years, I was shocked at how different and honestly expensive everything was. And like you said, I almost felt compelled to play because of all the hours and money I spent on the game. My main account got banned though, so I’m glad that at least when I look at Royale High on the home page I don’t feel any guilt for not playing more often.

I still play royal high and I do agree a lot with this, sense the game was released in 2017 everything was so cheap the heels, skirts and the wings were all under one thousand diamonds when the game was just a fan game of the show. I saw another girl talk about this just the prices of all the game passes you paying at least over 25$ on the diamond multipliers alone, and the other game passes are also a lot more than they should be. The diamond store in game where you can buy diamonds for robux, the most diamonds you can buy is 240,000 for 8,000 robux is ridiculous because if you have played in 2024 you’ll know that 240,000 diamonds isn’t going to get you far. The new dolls that have just been released, the valkyrie set is 50$ for a badge and a 6 piece set, and for the new sets that have been released as well 20 dollars for just 1 out of the 11 dolls you can buy, another fun fact about theses dolls is that the company that makes and mass produces these dolls are Zionist (people who support Israel) I am personally not going to be buying theses products for just that reason alone. I am not sure if the developers know that their products are be manufactured by a Zionist company but if so I hope they stop working with them and find a better company to work with. Last thing I want to talk about is the new school as said in the video the school is 25% done after just about a year of being released therefore the game has just gotten boring with the school being the same as it was in August of 2023 with really no new sets other than the ones that cost real life money. That is all I am going to say on this topic of royal high for as of right now

This is exactly how i feel, ive been playing since 2017 and i was young. Thankfully i never spent any money in this game but i took a very long break, i would say about 2 years. Before that break rh was my favorite game, i could play it all day long and i would make so many new friends. I loved campus 2 cause i felt like i could actually learn from there, i would have the best learning classes(i learned how to spell February 🙂) and the best people to play with. But i joined back in july of this year and I was baffled, what is this, this isnt the royal high i know and love, its so greedy and everyone is rude. I genuinely felt like people just ignored each other and lost the whole premise of the game. The creators just dont seem to listen to the audience. I also found out my beloved sets were taken away 💔. The only time i felt included was at sunset island and when you had to do the obby in the dungeon. YET I WAS STILL HOOKED, i spent 7 days straight playing all day just to not even reach 100k diamonds and i felt so burned out, its the same thing iver and over again, it gets exhausting.
