Where`s the Party?

Where`s the Party?

Less perfection! More authenticity!
Living fully despite anxiety and depression 🌈

Hi, I`m Katja, a modern-day nomad living an unconventional life full of travel, self-discovery, creativity, and music.

In the last 10 years, I`ve lived in 4 different countries and traveled about 50 (most of them solo), I`ve worked on a cruise ship, in a hotel, had a career in journalism, trained in the military, became a DJ and finally a KZreadr - all this while battling anxiety and depression.

I`m a multi-passionate person and want to experience everything that makes my heart skip a beat! And that`s a lot of things!

Here, I share my crazy adventures, thoughts from my overthinking mind, stories of my sensitive soul, habits & rituals that tame my depression, my healing journey, and the randomness of everyday life.

I want to show the world you can live a fulfilling life despite personal setbacks! I want to inspire you to be the most authentic self and go out and do everything your heart desires!

Just catching up with this one, nice to see your yoga, meditating morning routine. I have a similar one (and similarly still feel anxious sometimes 😅) I agree, all this nature is stunningly beautiful. The water, just wow. Appreciate coming along for the ride with you, enjoying adventuring vicariously 😎 Edit: forgot to say, my comfort food is white rice 🍚 with heinz beans, probably because I'm half Singaporean, half English

Seeing you driving and enjoying nature made me so happy ☀️ Absolutely beautiful place on the river, wow! Thank you for talking about the history, I don't know enough about it either It is terrifying putting ourselves out there! I think just continue to show us the process, it's not about the 'finished result'. People judge and misunderstand more when we try to present 'perfection'. But to echo what you were saying, the more vulnerable and 'real' and 'messy' we can be, the more people connect with us. You have all the answers already ❤

Girl, I think you did it the best time round. Travel and have nomadic life style for years before getting fed up with that and then looking to getting settled. Rather than do what everyone does - buy a house, pay a mortgage, have pressure to have a good job always to pay the bills and not to be able to effect holiday. No luxury of gap in employment. You did it best. Most people envy you!
