    I've seen a few videos recently where locals have ventured across the bridge over to the Sandals beach to test exactly this policy. So far, so good from what I've seen. The government claims all St. Vincent beaches have public access rights. I suspect we'll see how this policy hold up over time for this ultra exclusive location. 😀🏝☀

    Black urchins are called Sea eggs. They're usually the colour to suit the environment Well the cows'll be real proud to know their path is now a pathway, but you need to come around end March into April bcs as you walk up the path you're usually engulfed by butterflies, usually white. Beautiful. Beck-way. Bally-so, Batta-we-ah, Mus-tique 😉 (how pronounced) Always be careful with the surf so close to the sea in those parts for can be quite unexpected n deceptive. And won't recommend overnight camping in those behind the scenes places. And you're welcome 😉👍

    Hi Tim thanks for posting these videos they're excellent! Would you mind telling me how prominent VISA credit card is down there? Is it widely used for groceries, restaurants and souvenir shops? Is cash usually what is used down there for purchases?

  • @Vincy.Time.Tim64
    @Vincy.Time.Tim645 ай бұрын

    Yes, Visa credit cards are accepted at many businesses down here. I usually notify my bank to alert them of my international purchases. For many less established businesses, cash is usually preferred. I usually exchange my US currency for EC dollars because many institutions won't give you the full exchange rate. 2.67 EC to 1 US dollar has been the established rate for years. Many places will now only give you a 2.60 exchange. I hope you get an opportunity to visit SVG, you won't be disappointed. 😊

    I see this video was posted in early January but is that when it was taken? Debating whether or not to book a honeymoon and the comment about 6 months before being fully functional is concerning. 6 months from when the video was posted or 6 months from March? any insight would be helpful!

  • @Vincy.Time.Tim64
    @Vincy.Time.Tim645 ай бұрын

    Hello. The video was recorded on January 7th, 2024. The source of the comment on when they will open was the security guard at the construction entrance. So, I don't think it would be prudent to read too much into the accuracy of that statement. We'll have to see what progress they make between now and March 27th. Bequia, Mustique and Canouan are other great resort destinations in the area. You may want to look at those options as well. Best of luck to you with your honeymoon plans.
