I absolutely can’t stand cardio. I’m a weights girl but I will say I love walking. This month is the first time I’m tracking and sticking with it. Haven’t missed a day since July 1st. I do 30 minutes daily.

  • @SunnyKay

That’s awesome, I agree, walking is a great alternative to doing cardio’s. If you lift weights, you don’t have to worry about your legs recovering either.

I understand but I love running… I run 45 mins - 60 mins speed at 7. I do this after lifting weights for an hour. I’m in my 30s! People think i look like 22 yrs old! You gotta run!!!

That’s pretty intense, make sure not to go too low, your metabolism might dip and make it harder to lose weight. Adding some cardio instead could help you eat more and still get a deficit.

Do BOTH. IF (20-4, kinda OMAD) with KETO (or at least low carb, ie only good carbs oatmeal etc. ) and everyday run 5K in zone 2. Weekends IF 18-6 and once in awhile Cheat Day (does not equal go crazy, just some treats). Idem ditto vacation, holiday season etc. means only a few treats, again not go crazy. All about HABITS / ROUTINES.

From my experience, I find it easier to start with keto and then introduce IF since my hunger disappears on keto.

  • @SunnyKay

I could see that, when I’m on keto I end up eating breakfast so I can have more protein muscle synthesis throughout the day. Without the carbs, I won’t get as much brain fog anyways.

  • @TruthRevealed982

Experts say that if you eat carbs, eat them after vegetables and protein/fats. Then it won't spike your glucose as much, up to 70% less or something. Anyway, keto is very effective but super hard. Props to you for sticking to it for so long 😂

Great video!!! A lot of very unique advice tbh, especially about not overdoing it when you're starting out. Ego can be a devil, I've fallen victim to the yearn for heavy lifts and forcing myself to finish a workout when I clearly shouldn't. Not letting yourself take your baby steps will instantly get you thinking about sitting on the couch 😅

This is so deeply unhealthy. You are hanging your deepest fears on your weight and body image which will not be sustainable for a happy life. Can it make you lose weight? Sure. But the only way you can keep weight off and MORE IMPORTANTLY be HAPPY is to learn to love yourself. Usually these behaviors around food are because eating becomes a coping mechanism so when you don’t over eat you get stuck with your negative emotions you don’t know how to navigate. And again by writing down how you will not xxxx (whatever your deepest fears are) unless you lose weight, you will only make your inside world more horrible. Honestly you were attractive when you had more weight and you’re attractive now. Getting turned down and feeling the way you did has more to do with your feelings inside because I can promise you once you work on your inner self with things like therapy you won’t feel the need for the food coping mechanism, and you make actually love yourself for just being you. I really hope one person at least reads this and it encourages them since I know this will probably be seen by many people feeling insecure and like they can’t control their eating. You are worthy of love no matter what size you are and instead of doing something like this that will work as a band aid to weight loss please reach out to a dietitian or mental health professional. ❤

Struggling with an eating disorder, going from anorexic to bulimic, currently in my binge phase. I haven't gained any excess weight because of my obsessive exercising habit and purging, my weight is stable at my "right" bmi but it doesn't change the fact that I'm miserable and in a bad headspace. This video gives me hopes I can finally break free from this, thank you. I like this approach since I have tried everything before but it just seems like nothing gets to me, so it won't hurt to try. I'm not trying to lose weight, therefore I'm gonna skip the physical category of the exercise but the rest will work just fine, I just wanna stop binging Ps. I keep getting distracted by the classical music in the background 😂😂 It's not a bad thing tho, just whenever I hear a piece I know, my brain becomes busy trying to identify what is it, just a fun fact

Hi! I love hearing people appreciate the positives of intermittent fasting! If you have some kind of eating disorder, especially one that leads to binging, intermittent fasting is a great idea that can help repair your relationship with food. Because you’re not getting rid of food you enjoy completely out of your diet, or calorie/macro counting, just the time in which you eat these things, I believe it introduces the idea of food abundance to the person! Like you can eat anything you want, just not after 8 pm, wait until the next day and go ahead :) this will also re-introduce hunger cues to the person, and eliminate late night snacking that leads to binging. The goals are fairly easy and simple to accomplish and it’s not overwhelming. I did it for years and it helped me regain a positive relationship with food, hunger, and my body. Now I am able to calorie count, or focus on my macros without going crazy. It’s honestly such a game changer!

  • @SunnyKay

I completely agree! A lot of people will think intermittent fasting is closer to an eating-disorder or that it creates a bad relationship with food, but I agree that the opposite is true. Do you have a good relationship with a drug if you can never go without it? No, you have an addiction. Fasting is creating a great relationship with food by proving you can go without it, which increase your appreciation for it and improves your relationship with it. Thanks for sharing!
