i love this tank, in fact it was to the germans in 1940 what the tiger tank was to the allies in 1944! it was heavy, had transmission problems... but was also heavely armoured for it's day and could destroy entire armor groups on it's own, which they did! one Char B1 destroyed 25 german vehicles, including 10 tanks. the fact the germans still won in 1940 should have taught them building bigger and bigger tanks wasn't the solution...

Yes because three reasons... 1) They didn't think that a scientist character should be black. 2) They didn't want a black character being abused by Shredder because of the implications. And 3) They didn't want a black villain because they were concerned about inspiring or being accused of harboring racist attitudes. Even back in the late 80s they try not to tick off people.

Your Marder video came up as a suggestion on my KZread feed. Watched the series of your Marder build. The execution… my jaw dropped. You and only several others have executed a build that has so much detail. And you have used the most PE details. Thank you for showing what oil paints you used and where. Excellent I have a question when you added wires to the engine (beautifully shown) what thickness would you suggest using? I already hit subscribe to your channel
@LocktOnArt6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed watching my work. The wire I use is a couple of different gauges of copper wire. 0.3 mm and 0.4 mm. I usually get it from common electrical cables that have been stripped down. You can also get it in spools at electrical shops. I hope that helps, and thanks again for your support!.
@Chaos-lb9hi6 ай бұрын
@@LocktOnArtit definitely does thank you. I saw another pro modeler’s video and he suggested always keep left over PE trees (at a loss for a better description) because of the thickness and can be used on the fly to make improvised ad ons. I have a Kubelwagen kit and wanted to upgrade the engine compartment with wires. And I wanted to wire the lights on German kits for the electrical lights (convoy light) Thank you for the reply.
