THANK YOU SO MUCH, IT WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE
Great-thank you!!
I love your dogs - adorable!!! Good boys!!!!
Thank you! Our dogs are awesome!
Build a water catchment system from the night air. There is condensation in the air in the desert even.
We have a portable a/c unit for our second level and love it! Helps with the humidity as well as cooling our entire second floor. I highly recommend!
Hello there! 😁 I'm so glad it works for you!
I tried to watch, but when you say let’s get started, it switches to an ad for another video. 😢
That's no good!
Can you put a king size comforter in there?
I think a king would be tight. It would probably fit but I've never tried to wash one. If you got it in there it would probably make the dry cycle run really long.
My experience with this is that lint clogs the drainage line and breaks the pump. I had the larger model. I should have never bought something that thought forcing lint down through the drain was a good idea (it's designe to work that way)
Yeah, the lint situation is not ideal at all.
Are you still using this washer? Do you have to clean the filter often? Would you still recommend it?
We do still use it. I don't find that I have to clean the filter too often. A few times a year is all. I don't know if I would still recommend it. I know there are newer machines on the market like it that have a lint trap and this machine not having that really bothers me. That being said, if there were no other better options out there I would recommend it, hands down. At the end of the day it gets our laundry very clean.
Thank you ❤️
You're welcome!
Should have waited a year. The new 2024 LG all-in-one blows this thing out of the water 😅 so goes life. And 2025 will probably be better than 2024... there really is no winning haha 😅
Lived them all❤
Excellent! Glad to hear it!
So there’s no lint trap?
No, there is not a lint trap.

Go with the new LG 5.0 cubic foot washer dryer combo unit with heat pump technology and a lint filter. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZXWfps-yfJyeaNY.htmlsi=B8Hy3AuJmplO8F7s
Hi can you do a tutorial on how to make the straight borders
Hi there! It was super easy. I just followed alongside the hem.
That's not what I meant. Lol can you please do one with just straight lines in the middle.
Or stripes
The trays look much better! Very pretty and aesthetic ❤❤
Thank you!
Great tips for the wood stove. We have been doing the same with ours for the last 25 years. 😊
OMG please come to my house 😂
Lol!
So cute
I grew up in Lovington 20 miles south of Hobbs NM back then we all did brown paper bags with sand and a candle 🕯️🕯️🕯️, do they still do that?? Have a very merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Oh yes! Luminarias are everywhere and so beautiful!! Love them! Thanks for sharing!
Great idea! Love it 💘
Thanks! I truly love mine!
Thank you for offering this video. Question: When my clothes are finished on normal and perm press the machine cycle stops but clothes are damp. How to select just dry?
To just dry don't touch the dial but just your dry selections. You can also select not to spin.
Is it that normal thread used or something else
It was twine, I believe
2 valuable tips: don't fill more than 70% of the drum (some models have a label indicating this level), even to only wash. More than that will not keep enough space to have the clothes properly rolling and this will affect washing and even more drying. Second tip: wash/dry the same kind of clothes. By example: wash/dry light clothes, underwear + t-shirts + socks, then in another round only the towels. Because the drying is made using a moisture sensor, which will measure the average moisture. If you mix, you'll have your underwear dried, but wet towels.
that washer still any good?
It's great
is it still any good?
No issues as of yet
Great video. Thank you!
Good! I'm glad you liked it!
Wrinkle free option for drying my clothes come out wrinkly
I have never used that setting. That's too bad.
Beautiful
Thanks!
Is it not possible JUST to use a quick dry cycle? I have tried setting the time dry to 30 minutes and it jumps to 55. I have selected "no spin" as suggested in other videos to use just dry cycle. Any time I try to dry, it takes an hour or more and clothes are still damp. I would like to the smart functions sometimes and just use a dryer on a gentle cycle. There doesn't seem to be directions in any manual about using just the dryer. I am also experiencing shrinking when using the dryer.
I talk about this in the video but this is not your typical vented dryer. It is not going to dry your things quickly. Your best bet for quick dry times is to do small loads only.
PLEASE tell me how to use JUST the dry cycle on the LG ThinQ all in one washer dryer. I have turned dial to normal, turned off the spin and selected dry. I have tried turbo, normal and time setting. The least amount of time has been one hour for clothes that are only damp. When I check the clothes, they are more wet than when I put them in. I want to be able to set the dry function for 30 minutes and have the dryer run and DRY the clothes. I don't want them steamed..I just want them dried. How can I work around the "smart" features to just DRY the clothes? There are no directions I can find that explain how to use only the dryer function. I am SUPER frustrated!! Help Please!
You can't touch the dial at all to just dry. Turn it on and select your dry setting then start.
Some great ideas here. Thanks! 😊
Awesome! Glad you got some inspiration!
This looks like a fun project! Thank you! I love them all as well!
Thanks! It was fun!
You can actually select the “no spin” option after selecting a dry cycle to avoid the extra spin
Thanks for the tip!
Looks really good! That wood is BEAUTIFUL!!🤩
Thank you! The wood is really beautiful. I like how it really pops now.
Looks great.
Thank you! Your kind words are always so much appreciated!
Have mine about 3 weeks. Cycle won’t go into dry mode. I keep getting an error IE. Have to turn off and then restart and pick Dry add a spin and then that works. Help!
I suggest calling their support number or chatting with them about it. It sounds like an issue with your machine.
Thanks so much for this video and your other one. It's very helpful to see someone who has used it. So you''ve owned this for a couple years now I think. Have you had any maintenance issues or anything that you don't like about it? I hate the fact that they build stuff so cheaply these days. Any humidity issues? Do you think it's big enough to wash a king comforter or do you think your queen maxes it out? I've also read negative reviews about long dry times and clothes/towels not being dry - any thoughts on that? Thank you!
Hello there! Yes, we have had the machine for just over two years now. I do plan on doing an updated video but just haven't gotten around to it. We have had zero issues. I think if you put a king comforter in there by itself that it would do okay but I've never tried it. It's probably the most important thing not to overload the machine-especially when doing a load like towels that take longer to dry. If you follow that rule you'll be just fine. It's a bit of a learning curve at first!
@@lightningbugvintage you've had zero issues with humidity? We have a lot of problems with high humidity during the dry cycle (not during washing). Mind you, it's in a small room. There's a white tub/safety vent in the back where we suspect the excess humidity is coming from, as well as a smell (that irritates our throats enough to cough). The smell is hard to describe, but we thought maybe it was like a slight burning smell. We were not using affresh for tub cleaning (mainly baking soda during a tub clean and then vinegar on a second tub clean). But we did a first affresh tub cycle recently and it seems to have changed the quality of the smell (a bit more bearable). Will try another affresh cycle perhaps. Some months ago, a technician came to troubleshoot but he decided the problem was the condenser was too hot. But after he replaced it, but it did not make a difference. Will continue to investigate, but was curious whether you've had any smell issues. We've had the machine for about 1 year and 4 months. Thanks.
Can you use pods in this? or is it strictly liquid detergent ?
I'm not sure about the pods. I think probably yes as long as your load is big enough. I use powder detergent and have used liquid before but never pods.
I just bought this machine, and the wall behind the machine is getting wet like it's sweating. Is that normal? Im afraid it will destroy the paint and create mold. Is that normal? Is there something to do to fix it? Thanks
No, that's not normal. Perhaps try calling their tech support?
I loved them all.
Awesome! Thank you so much!
This is so helpful thank you! Trying to decide if we should purchase and this helped us a lot!
Oh good, I'm so glad!
Yes!! I love to see people washing their thrift Items , the final result is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
So pretty 😊
Thank you so much for the kind comment!
