I am surprised you didn’t use old school lye.
Great and amazing video yet again! I do want to say that you did not mention running an exhaust/intake for the tankless water heat.
I’ll be there!
My boss is my mentor. He does all 10... not only am i not wasting my money i am getting paid for it... over 1 million unfilled trade jobs, if they wont teach you, invest in you, help you, you either need to find someone else who will or check your own attitude commitment work ethic etc.

Does this work on pex?
Just got off work and downloaded the app off the link from my email!
This isnt because of your own pipes people…
Best job ever is an electrician and not a turd tossing plumber. Sorry. Both probably the best trades for moonlighting.
My only real issue with the acrylic is the lack of a horn to help the wax keep shape.
Should I join the union with 0 experience? I’m getting an email from the location down the road from me…just don’t wanna walk in at level 1 and be made fun of lol
Is this course still available?
Yes it is still available visit this link bit.ly/rogersfreeminicourse
I find a double accordion toilet plastic plunger is the best option
Can it be electric instead of gas?
I'm not sure if Rinnai makes an electric combi boiler, that is something you may have to do research on.
Don't flush wipes. None of them break down. If they did, they'd break down in their own packaging.
If you soak an entire roll of toilet paper in it's packaging it's not doing to break down.....but I see your point.
Great job! Thank you.
My pleasure!
I have a home (2 years old) that already has 2 traditional gas water heaters. I am looking to replace them with tankless water heaters. What is your recommendations and they are far apart.
Are they not producing enough hot water for you?
@@RogerWakefield They work fine, my wife and i will be retiring in about a year and a half and dont want to worry about water problems if that ever happened while we are gone. We plan at times to be out for a 3 month period or so. Why pay to heat up water if we dont need to.
Both are 40 Gal Tanks on each side of the house.
If you set your gas pilot to 'vacation' or similar setting that should work for you. However, if you're still wanting to change systems entirely tankless could be an option...check first with a plumber to see if you need to upsize your gas line before doing so.
I trust solder more than anything else. That being said, I tend to propress in areas that will remain accessible (ie water heater hookups) and solder in tight spots or areas that will not be accessible later.
That's a great way to do it...
I used A2 + B2= C2 and got 16.97".
Morning Rodger, I wanted to ask a question about joining the union. I am 30years old and looking to make a career change. I have multiple trades experience; Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry etc. my wife and I are a little worried about the wage difference starting in the union at 15 an hour and the incremental increase each year. I’m in Cleveland Ohio and have yet to reach out the local union hall. Any advice?
I installed a backflo preventor in a Lowe's and it started spitting out water from the vent just minutes after I turned the water back on. It's on a 3/4" line that feeds the misting system in the outdoor garden. Would hammering from the use of let's say the toilets and urinals cause this? If I installed a spring loaded check valve in front of the preventor would that eliminate the spitting?
I just moved to a new house, i tried to shut it of but it won’t budge, i put all of my power to it but it won’t turn at all, what should i do?
Dispose ALL
I can't stand people who think they are owed a job just because they have a degree.
hell ya brother! spread the word
tx journeyman. max wax all day, everyday
I use cottenelle and never had issue. My house is 14 year old. I guess it depends on the age of the house and me. 😂
I'm 18 and I've been looking to get into plumbing but I know nothing about it and I'm just wondering do I need to know a lot about it before i get into it
You don't need to know anything...I got into plumbing knowing nothing about it. Just look for companies that are looking to hire with no experience.
Roger I've never seen this repair device until today. Looks pretty good for a homeowner to get by until he can get someone to solder a repair coupling on. Side note. You really shot a mouse with a 50 cal using that impact wrench. That things gotta have 500+ ft pounds of torque.
Yeah lol wanted to make sure it was on good 😅😂
I have the best cleaner known to man…it’s called removing the trap and cleaning it out. Bath tub and showers drains are bore difficult to remove the trap, so I use a snake.
I'm not a fan of pex pipes. They don't work good for winner where I'm from. I like copper Soderen R brazen. I don't like sharp bites. I don't like pressed. There's nothing wrong with the old school way. Cause it works fine. The new stuff don't work with that great. Anything new these days? They engineer, even on vehicles. It's just garbage
I don't like pressed are shark bites. Arpex pipes, I like good old-fashioned, sovereign or brazen. And use them copper pipes
