ALL VIEWERS AND BRANDS, BE AWARE of SCAMMERS!!!

1. Our channel will NOT proactively contact any brands to request machines or any kind of collaboration. If anyone claims to be us and approaches your brand, that's a SCAM!

2. We DON'T do lucky draws. If someone pretends to be us and contacts you, claiming you've won anything, that's a SCAM!

I'm Aurora, and my brother, Helios, make videos on 3D printers, CNC machines, as well as Fusion 360 CAD and CAM. We started this channel back in February 2021. Please also visit our website for Aurora's recommendation list of 3D Printers, Laser Engravers, and CNC Machines. We understand that the 3D printing market can be overwhelming, which is why instead of featuring a long list of 3D printers, we have only included the very best in each category, with only one spot available for each. As experienced 3D printer users, we know that if we had to buy only one machine in that category, it would be the one we choose.

    Finally a thorough review with complete honesty. I've watched dozens of reviews and none mentioned the cons so well. Its not a deal breaker but Im thankful this review covers some aspects to be aware of.

    Your background music is overused, IMO. Keep it to a minimum. It is kind of cool that it's assoiciated with your channel. I've heard the same music used on other channels and I said, hey, that's Aurora's music, LOL!

    Great review as always, but a huge percentage/number of VERY negative reviews on the dominant US mail-order site prevents me from buying one.

    Great review. I tried ordering one, but for some reason they won't ship to the US Virgin Islands. I've sent 2 emails to them, but have not heard back.

    I've seen people reporting issues with printing at higher temperatures than 230C because teflon tube in hot end melts at about 240C and starts clogging the nozzle. So it may require replacement for PETG/ABS printing. For PLA printing this printer can work as is.

    Waiting for the Bambu XL which will probably cost 25% as much and do everything this machine does.

    Thank goodness for the 'pause' button! Done so fast us mere mortals can barely keep up 😅 But thank you, managed in the end with liberal use of 'pause' and 'rewind'

    I just went through the process of removing my MMUS2 from my Prusa MK3S+. I was thinking of doing the upgrade to the 3.9 or 4 with MMU3, but thought I should see what is out there with a similar price. I saw this review with 7 hours left on the early-bird pricing. Thank you so much for your detailed reviews. You have saved me both money and a crazy amount of time/effort. Crispy high-fives for everybody at Aurora tech.

    Very cool, I would have liked to see some more printing tailored to surface quality rather than speed. I think with the latest generation of printers we've gotten to a good level of speed, more is always nice but IMO only if it doesn't sacrifice print quality to attain it.

    I want to know if this machine is better than the Ender 3 V3. I want to buy one and the fact that this one has multi filament is a plus compared to the Ender. But I don´t know which one has better quality. Can you please give me your opinion? Thanks!

    lol I'm pretty sure my prusa mk4 can print that same hello kitty model with the same size tower maybe less, but it has no poop shoot or poop collection system. So the tower is it. Either way it's using less filament. The MMU3 is the most effecient single nozzle multi material system.

    There is no market for this machine. A1 has better kinematics, AMS lite is in someways better and much better support and ecosystem. Pom wheels, really!

    I have an MK3S and a Prusa XL, but with a single extruder. At least at this moment, I do not really print multicolored prints that often, but knowing how much filament and time you can save by using multiple toolheads is incredible. Yes, it is a very expensive machine with many flaws, but for multicolor prints, it is barely unbeatable. Everyone needs to do the math to justify the cost of a machine 🙂 I would only use two toolheads, so an upgrade may be incoming 🙂

    Thank you for very good explanations, I have a problem with the z offset. My z offset value is -0.7mm, but when i make an auto home, the value turns into positive value and adds in z axis value. also, do you know how can i change my z axis value it stuck in 10, then plus positive (i dont know why it makes a negative value to the positive) 0.7, it will be 10.7 .also when i put the positive value for e.g +0.7 nothing happens. In the screen, nothing adds or subtracts. I have to use a print then put the value -0.7mm in the babysteps, and then everything works fine. Thank you for your guidance

    So the same problem with Kobra 2 they repeat in Kobra 3. The lack of Z off set manualy adjust beforer the auto level. Elegoo did a better job in Neptune 4 in that. That a problem who can be solved easy by Anycubic, but they dont listen the costumers.

  • @JojoJoget
    @JojoJoget3 күн бұрын

    I’d only say the Anycubic material system is better if you have tested it for reliability, otherwise tech specs don’t make it better, its pretty annoying if the material system gets stuck every few layers or every material change

    Does every filament have to be a certain temperature? I've noticed that they are all different. Even the bed temps are all different. Is this why my prints have failed from time to time? Should I do a temp tower for every spool I get? New plastic pusher here..

  • @petercallison5765

  • @AuroraTech
    @AuroraTech3 күн бұрын

    In terms of the multiple filament box, the ACE Pro works better than the AMS Lite and even better than the AMS. If a future firmware update fixes the auto Z issue, this Kobra 3 combo could be a better option than the A1+AMS Lite.

    That's a lot of waste, especially with purge block and pooping on the side. As for the side poop, they should have something tilted down so it can slide it down to the side
