Your World with Bill

What is Your World with Bill? What will you find on this channel?

This channel is about the sites that my wife and I have visited. You will see the highlights and the best places to visit when you're traveling. What's the best way to use the money you're investing in travel, so that you are happy with your decisions of what to see? We'll show you what we chose to see, and the reasons we wanted to visit those places.

We love to travel, and as time goes by we will post more and more videos of our travels, more cruises than anything else!

If you like to read fantasy novels, my book Mage is available on Amazon:

    I am just back from Norway and I could get much better photos of the aurora with my handheld iphone than I could with my dslr and its tripod. I know that goes against reasoning but thats the way it was. You need to be aware of the settings,( iso, shutter speed, f-stop, night setting), and how to use them as the aurora can last a short amount of time. One photo, when blown up, never lost any of its clarity and is a photo of a lifetime.

    We did Iceland for a week in a rented van and had an awesome time. I have been looking at going back via a cruise that not only goes to Ireland but the itinerary includes other stops as well.

    Much more on Viking is at no extra cost: Wi-Fi, self-service laundries, beer, wine, soft drinks, specialty restaurants, 24 hour room service, excursions, all balcony cabins, no art auctions, no photographers, no children, a very reasonable cost spirits package, and more. We've done three cruises with them in five years and expect to do a fourth soon, all in Penthouse Veranda cabins which is more than adequate space for two.

    You didn't actually film Trollstigen? You filmed Trollveggen, the wall were there has been a lot of BASE jumping accidents. Trollstigen is the road that is zig-zaging up/down the mountain and is a spectacular sight in itself (The road might have been closed, but if so, you shouldn't call "the wall" "the ladder"

    Enjoyed the story of the cruise - and the sweatshirt of course! Thanks for that, and the very kind shout out at the end of the video too. It was good to see the Club Orange in Rotterdam as it was (unlike the other Pinnacle Class) more purpose built and not an adapted test kitchen. It looks so much more classy! Love the Pinnacle Class suites. How do you cope on Viking without the casino 😂 I do miss them on ships too!

    Do NOT do Iceland on a cruise. The fact is that you don't see the best bits of Iceland solely on a cruise - if you stayed on the ship you'd see nothng. You have to disembark and swamp the area with coaches.

    Nice video, Bill. Of course, you know that I will take Viking over pretty much any other line, although I like the new Celebrity ships a lot and Oceania was very good last Christmas. We're doing our first Oceania (Riviera ship) cruise next November, 11 days Barcelona to Istanbul. I'm looking forward to comparing the food on Oceania with Viking. But even without having cruised on Oceania I'm leaning that way because I like to spend a little time each night at the craps table! What do you like better about Viking?

  • @loumello8813
    @loumello8813 Жыл бұрын

    @@billbernstein5116 I like Viking better because of the excursions, the ship is always just immaculate, the service in all aspects has always been top notch. The food on Viking is comparable to Oceania although not as many specialty restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the Riviera quite a bit at Christmas and New Years, but, but, overall, prefer Viking. I also like that Viking is adults only and since I don't do the casino, then I don't miss it on Viking.
