Its good to see Honnold is more careful now that he has children.. i dont think he had any when he did that free climb? I think if youre into doing extreme stuff like that its fine as long as it just affects you, But if you have older parents, siblings and most important of all children than its only Ego and selfish to do something at that risk.

Yes, that is Alex´s issue. He is in fact ready to die, but are his kids ready for him to die? The mark of a great man is to dedicate himself to the service of those he loves. Frankly, i think a father who spends quality time with his children after a tiring work day is much more impressive than David Goggins running 200 kilometers in one go. This guy is what I call a man, I would love to meet him and shake his hand. He is real and on target. This is, quite honestly, what being a woman is also about. We aren’t men but we used to be far stronger than we are. My ancestors came when this wasn’t even a country yet, they pioneered the south when it was swamp and outlaws, natives and there was not much of anything. The women stood alongside the men because the men were always at the lead taking the hardest hits Up follow a man like that anywhere . Only they are a vanishing breed. Legit. I follow this practice everyday. Now the real painful thing, is trying to help someone grow, and then seeing them later slide back into what they used to do. There's only so much example I can produce in my own life to inspire someone, but if they still go back to 'existing' and don't take the actions to get out of that... well shit there's not much more I can do at that point.

In life, I was lucky enough to have a damn good job as a carpenter and raised three kids we were not rich we were happy with the take away from what David has accomplished and try to Stonewall as that so-called pirate did one thing I have never been was jealous. I had every opportunity to do with anybody else did above and beyond what I have accomplished good for them. I’m pretty happy where I’m at.

I was told my grandfather survived a attack and as the last man alive between way uneven armies in ww2. He was shot in the neck and passed out bleeding couldn't talk anymore ever. My dad is spec ops retired crazy bad ass.... Me I'm a carpenter :} with massive respect for the men before me

To me David Goggins is the most authentic motivational speaker on any platform. I have seen them all. Most are full of $hit to some degree or another. I’m not saying there is not value you can gain from them but Goggins ( In my opinion) is short, simple, direct and to the point. His message is what I need to hear to keep me going when the times get tough. Thank you David.
