The push and pull force of ball screw is directly on the shaft of stepper . Should use proper balscrew housing to avoid this , all the cutting and axis load should be on ball screw housing , not the stepper, otherwise stepper life will be affected.

Link to joysticks does not give the same results as the ones you show. You're using a left joystick that holds the position (for throttle) in the Y axis, but the ones in the link they return to original position on both axis.
