Near sightedness should not be an issue since these things make you focus in the distance, mins you I'm not an optometrist though so I'd definitely recommend trying out a pair through Amazon first. Thanks for your comment !

The way this guy talks about the Vision Pro and MetaQuest 3 is the same way I talk about the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. One is ridiculously more expensive to game on compared to the other. So I'm surprised he keeps using PS5 as an example. Maybe if this dude (Who clearly has a PS5) had got an Xbox Series instead of a PS5 the money he would have saved could have netted him a Vision Pro... Just to be clear the Vision Pro is an absolute rip off and a total joke of a product but this dude keeps talking about not being able to afford it

Yes it's because the overlay counting the frames can't account for the generated frames so it doesn't display properly. I believe Intel Presentmon and AMD's own overlays will show the correct numbers. Thanks for your comment!

Definitely not! Once you've transferred/copied the files over, you can switch back into Gaming Mode, or restart your Deck and you'll be good to go!

I have one with a 4070 8gb vRAM, with DLSS or FSR on it works fine, I make music and needed something that was portable and powerful and could play games and do video editing, I play in 1080p with no issues. The real issue is console game ports that come to PC that are not well optimized say like RDR2. The Legion I have is the 2023 version and cost 1700$.

Thanks for your detailed comment. This makes sense, the VRAM is a constraint when textures are so poorly (or not even at all) optimized. I do hope AutoSR and DirectSR make an impact here!

@@gamers-generation well the way I look at it is, it's easier for devs to make and optimize games for consoles you have 2 types of Xbox consoles and one PS5 see... But there's so many different types of computers, they all have different combos of RAM , processors and graphics cards...so trying to optimize for all of those is extremely hard. They do send many patches out tho but many games say like rdr2 are ports and while a great game aren't very optimized on PC. So there are give and takes with it all.

The dock should be sufficient for a Switch when the Switch is in handheld mode. When docked, it shouldn't be needed. Sorry I can't confirm at the moment as I sold my Switch. Planning to get a new one though soon.

Yeah I love my xr glasses I’ve watched movies with them which was a great experience and even a few 3d ones they work with my rog ally and iPad perfectly also really good for use with the Pluto tv app which is a streaming service that has movies and live tv shows to watch totally free - definitely feels like you are in the future wearing them!

Different kind of products. Max 2 is a mini laptop that has a usable controller, Win mini is a clamshell handheld and UMPC. To me, Max 2 is more useful if you do a lot of typing, or else there’s no reason to choose it.

Wait, I just got the Viture One on Amazon for $439. Should I send them back and get the Pro? What's the difference besides slight color variations? EDIT* So confusing. So better refresh rate AND brighter. Why is this so hard to to keep track of! lol. I pulled the brakes on the Amazon order and spending another 20 bucks for the upgrade on the viture site. So sad, I was looking forward to tomorrow, but after the cancellation and getting the pro's I have to wait two weeks....looking forward to them!

Video color wise is the pro better or just the same. Main reason why i got the xreal air over the viture one is because xreal has vibrant and popping colors vs viture one looks muted.

Unfortunately my eyesight isn't the best for color accuracy although I'd say that because there is basically no chromatic aberration (like color warping/distortion) at the edges, it looks very clear. As for the colors looking muted on the original non-pros, you can actually calibrate the warmer colors online. The Pros are significantly brighter though so that will definitely contribute to the "color pop".

I will also mention, The laptop's charging port tends to wear down very fast, and you have to be really careful because as it wears down, it takes less and less time before a new charger doesn't work, my newest charger only lasted like, 3 months

@@gamers-generation I honestly think it's how hot the 3050 can get (Which is what mine has, I think it's a different version than the one in this video, but most of the Legion 5 Pros have similar issues), because the port works fine with new chargers, and it's not the easiest thing to keep ventilated because it doesn't have a great amount of clearance under it even on a flat, hard surface like a desk

Wait, I just got the Viture One on Amazon for $439. Should I send them back and get the Pro? What's the difference besides slight color variations? EDIT* So confusing. So better refresh rate AND brighter. Why is this so hard to to keep track of! lol. I pulled the brakes on the Amazon order and spending another 20 bucks for the upgrade on the viture site. So sad, I was looking forward to tomorrow, but after the cancellation and getting the pro's I have to wait two weeks....looking forward to them!

Video color wise is the pro better or just the same. Main reason why i got the xreal air over the viture one is because xreal has vibrant and popping colors vs viture one looks muted.
Unfortunately my eyesight isn't the best for color accuracy although I'd say that because there is basically no chromatic aberration (like color warping/distortion) at the edges, it looks very clear. As for the colors looking muted on the original non-pros, you can actually calibrate the warmer colors online. The Pros are significantly brighter though so that will definitely contribute to the "color pop".

Thank you Krypto! Yeah unfortunately I had to record using my camera's mic so the audio wasn't as good as I'd prefer.
I will also mention, The laptop's charging port tends to wear down very fast, and you have to be really careful because as it wears down, it takes less and less time before a new charger doesn't work, my newest charger only lasted like, 3 months

@@gamers-generation I honestly think it's how hot the 3050 can get (Which is what mine has, I think it's a different version than the one in this video, but most of the Legion 5 Pros have similar issues), because the port works fine with new chargers, and it's not the easiest thing to keep ventilated because it doesn't have a great amount of clearance under it even on a flat, hard surface like a desk
I just got the Viture glasses, they come later this week. I also have the Legion Go which, thankfully has 2 usb c ports. Hopefully more handhelds will adopt this. Can't wait to see what this all looks like!
