  0:07 despite having a really basic graphic, the theme sounds grand and epic. Can't imagine the feeling listening to this intro only to be broken with the news Turkish Airlines flight 981 had crashed and Cyprus had just been invaded.

  From It's Launch Until 2015, DW Is The Multilingual Channel, Airing Programmes In English, German And Spanish Languages. But After 2015, The Main Multilingual Channel Was Separated, To Become As An All-English Language TV Channel. Resulting German, Spanish And Arabic Versions Of DW Have Launched Separately. However Unfortunately, The German Version Of DW Was Discontinued In 1st Of January 2024. In Addition To English, German And Spanish Languages, DW Is Also Has An Turkish Language On Its KZread Channel Called ''DW Türkçe'' So You Forgot To Add DW Türkçe News Intros On This Video.

  Estoy familiarizado con la historia desde 3:51 ya que a partir de ahí DW se incorporó en mi grilla de tv por cable. Extraño la unificación de aquel entonces. Tanto con la marca "Journal" (reemplazada por el simple News/Noticias/otras traducciones) como con el set (ahora es notorio que sólo el set del feed en inglés es el que importa).

  @@Vinnytv7679 CNN Brasil y CNBC Brasil igual son nombres de fantasía... marcas bajo licencia. DW opera y es propietaria de sus propios feeds y realmente es extraño que no tengan uno en portugués.

  @@Vinnytv7679 concuerdo plenamente. Incluso no lo había notado hasta leerte. También RT y CGTN (en su momento CCTV) tienen servicios en español hace mucho tiempo, pero no en portugues.

  Oh nostalgia for DW-TV. I was lucky enough to encounter this channel in 2008 on cable TV, then later in 2014 on satellite. 4:04 Panarama Belarus 🙂

  I like the style of the international European channels (like DW) with newscasts in multiple languages, unfortunately my country didn't have any news in my language from those channels.

  4:59 Anyone coming here from RTS vesti? The Ukrainians have stolen this word from the Serbians. I know they're both Slavic languages and don't get me wrong, I love the Serbian language, I just feel like Ukrainian is way more fun than Serbian, don't ask me why. 😅
