Hi ! Thank you for visiting this channel. I'm Yoshimi.
I've been teaching tourists how to cook easy-to-replicate Japanese home dishes for 6 years in Asakusa, Tokyo.
Japanese restaurant is not the only way to enjoy Japanese food. TOKYO KITCHEN Japanese cooking class teaches you how to cook Sushi, Tempura and beyond. AND you get to eat what you learn !
Hit the link below to find out more about my kitchen in Tokyo !
Very much looking forward to seeing you in my kitchen so that we can have some fun and cook up a storm !

This was extremely helpful! It might not have turned out as pretty as yours but I managed to make it and that’s what matters!
Oh Jesus so perfect 😍😍
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I've cooked this dish twice and everyone loves it. I'm going to cook it again tonight. Thats why I revisited your site to make sure that I hadn't forgotten any part of your recipe. Thanks again all the best.
I always get wonderful ideas from your channel. I also like making your recipes as soon as I can because I always get hungry watching your videos! 😋 Thank you for sharing all these wonderful recipes. Please keep up the great work!
Mine came out brownish 😅 However it wasn’t burned; and we tasted the matcha flavor. But I’m still wondering; what did I do wrong?
I didn't expect tamagoyaki to be so good! I really enjoyed!
I'm making this for my mom I love the work, keep it up!!!
Would you be able to make this ahead of time? And what is the ratio you use for the Salt and pepper? I am curious.
Now that’s a sandwich!
Hi Yosimi, I want to ask if, Doubanjiang, can be replaced with other ingredients? because we don't like spicy. Thank you.
Delicious! Thanks Yoshimi! 🧄🧅🫚🥚🧂🍶🍗🥬🍞
Was the sprinkle of flour to soak up the excess moisture?? If so it was genius, I wish i thought of that the last time cooked chicken 😮 Also, sorry for being an inconsistent commenter 🥺 I really love your recipes and use them often for preparing lunch boxes ❤❤❤
9:39 - I don't have to clean frying pan because my mom always put some cooked rice to mix. Mixing rice with oil can make every grind of rice coated with wonderful flavours and it's not "mottainai".
My family is not rich, to be honest. 😢
@@tdman my family is poor
@@keptleroymg6877 Oh, my family is poorer. 🥲
Looks amazing! Thanks for showing us how thick to make the sauce.
Your videos are excellent and so very informative!!!
Awww 😍 ! Thank you so much !
Thank you, I managed to get it wright 🎉😂, u need to be patient and let it cook before you flip or it will end up scrambled. I cheated and used a lid for a tiny bit which causes the egg to lift and fluff 😅
Glad to hear you found the video helpful !
love this Quick and easy things. Thanks ❤
Yet another winner! I’m cooking this tomorrow! Thank you so much for sharing!
You really got to try this 🤤!

I did this for a party side dish, it took a lot of practice and in the end it came out good ( We all eats the scrambled and rolled eggs ) The instructions is simple and clear and really helpful
Great recipe! You can also use a cheap Jullienne peeler tool to quickly turn the carrots into strips, in case (like me) your knife skills are not as good as this lady's.
Great tip 🤣! I actually use it a lot !
Very impressive and easy to make as I watch this video ❤thank you
The night of day1 put daikon in. Freezer or fridge?
Last night put in freezer or just in the fridge?
My son likes the anime "Demon Slayer" and one of the characters in the show loves Sweet Potato rice. So I found your recipe and made it for him tonight. He loved it. Thank you!
I like the way you handle your eggplant 😍
Simple to make, delicious, and fast too!
Exactly 😉!
Is the butter salted or unsalted?
Can I use the same method in a rice cooker? Thank you in advance!
Yum!!!!!
looks good and i appreciate the meal plan at the end
Glad you liked it 🎶
question: is tempura dipping sauce the same as tofu agedashi dipping sauce?
Almost but the one for agedashi is slightly lighter.
@@asakusa-tokyokitchen thank you!
Please remove the loud, annoying and unnecessary musical background in the audio, because it drowns out the words being spoken.
You always make easy and simple cook, but the results are always delicious 😋 , thanks for the recipe and success to you 🙏❤🎉

Ummm this is going to be my go-to meal forever now!! I have lots of kale and chard in the garden and I think I'll try adding that (a little earlier) to this too!! Fried rice salad kind of hahah it's perfect. Thank you so much Yoshimi! I never would have thought to put leafy greens in fried rice but this looks amazing! You're really the best.

🤤🎶👍
Lol here coz it is my favorite snack and coz of demon slayer too lol
Really it is one interesting recipe with peppers.
I don’t understand why you wrap in Saran Wrap, then unwrap and throw away. So wasteful and useless. Probably ends up in the ocean and chokes the tuna.
How to make tuna mayo crunchy sushi roll please?
