so much ka ka n oneplace
how does that differ from taekwondo. Looks the same
Taekwondo came from Tang Soo Do. Tang Soo Do came from shotokan. The largest of the kwans that came together to form taekwondo was the Moo Duk Kwan.
Sleeve grab techniques tang soo do
Hand position on Blocks can be a lil better. It's hard to block with a straight arm.
nice dance routine.........
Aw mate a was looking for a word for this and that's it
It’s a form. It’s not supposed to help you fight. It’s supposed to help you with techniques and breath control and stuff.
Obviously can’t tell the difference between martial arts and dancing🙄 Stick with dancing and leave martial arts to adults.
@@Stevemind88 Was that directed to me or him?
It is not a dance. It is an effective technique.
Pool Sa Bom Nim always said move as one breath. Great times.
You have an interesting program and a very very good martial arts program I just wish I should have stayed in my karate class it could have made me into something stronger and far more better you know what I mean I just wish I could have had done it much much better 🥋👊😉👍🥋
Good
Great demonstration, excellent explanation..
🦾
Good techniques self defense
a los 3:45 que forma es?
Pyung Ahn Sa Dan
@kwon'sWellness Can you do a deep dive video into Pyung Ahn EE Dan?
We will try to make it soon.
@Kwon's Wellness - Martial Arts / Soo Bahk Do/ BJJ thank you kindly sir or ma'am 🌿👊🌿
The video that you guys did on pyung ahn chodan helped immensely when I was practicing and trying to get the movements right. It helped having both the mirror and explanations of what I was doing. I know this will help not only myself, but some classmates as well. Thank you again. 😊
Nice moves
y con reloj?
Does any Soo Bakh Do schools still actually teach the original kung fu forms taught by Hwang Kee or is it just karate forms and forms invented by the founder now?
공수도형입니다 고유 무술과는 거리가 있습니다 이걸 고유무술이라고 하는데는 조직측에서 뭔가 이유가 있겠지요
Thank you for this instructional, it has come in handy as I work on the transition for the last 4 steps. On a side note I regret not taking a moment to thank you in person for your video series during Class at Moment with the masters in Tulsa this year. Soo Bahk!
Excellent technical breakdown. Thank you
Where is this dojang located at ???
@3:33 Pyung Ahn Sam Dan
@2:03 Pyung Ahn Sam Dan
Fantastic instruction. Thanks.
very well done! I've seen a lot of TSD schools go the way of the Mcdojo lately but this is clearly not the case for you guys. It's great to see serious martial artists who clearly have a passion for their art! Looks very much like Shotokan Hangetsu (which makes a lot of sense considering the MDK lineage). Still not sure why the Korean masters added a jump instead of the traditional slide step seen in Okinawan and Japanese versions, but hey whatever works.
Awesome demonstration and great picture to follow. Soo Bahk!
Nice!!!
Manque de force, ne jamais monté sur le Dojang avec des bracelets comme la montre.
Thank you so much for this. I've been looking for a mirrored tutorial as I only started karate a couple of weeks ago and have struggled with the direction of this kata. The other tutorials that aren't mirrored only confused me. I think i'll do much better in class this week thanks to this tutorial. Subscribing!
You execute your knife hand blocks exactly like we do! We are a combination MDK-WTF school with a lineage to Hwang Kee. Hwang Kee-Shin-Kang-me
Moo duk kwan what the fu…ok…
Muy poca fuerza, excelentes posiciones, sin fuerza
So nice/helpful to see all this series performed one after the other.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
🔥🔥🔥
👍🏾
What rank is this form taught?
Sa Dan - 4th Dan - 4 degree black belt
very Gung Fu like; Long Fist- still, much shorter than most Hung Gar & Jow Gar kuens/katas
White all lesson sent please.
It's interesting how many different ways this kata (like most of them) is performed.
reasonable shotokan!
In Shotokan this kata is called Enpi. Though it's usually taught at brown belt level, it's actually one of the hardest kata for people to perform well.
Indeed, it's also called Wansu/Wanshu in other styles of Karate. It's one of the oldest kata and one of my favourites :)
It’s me your student Aaron
Thank you.
Thank you Sa Bom Nim
Thank you
soo Bahk!
Looks like shotokan karate.
Adapted from shotokan forms.
At least three of founders of original five kwans of Tang Soo Do have studied Shotokan in their youth.
Similar, but the hip rotation and circularity in the blocks is different.
👊
I did Soo Bahk Do as a kid and I’d like to get back into it
Awesome! Just wanted to say hello before I sleep. Oh, and happy save Your hearing Day! :d
Cool
