  The X-T5 actually has a half stop less of dynamic range compared to the X-T4.

  Hey i love your videos but I need your help ! Do you think I should buy the Fuji xt50 as my first camera because of those film simulations and this nice small body. Or should I buy a Sony a6700 which is perfect in every situation, but don’t have those film simulation that I am looking for as a beginner. Also, I am starting a social media company where we will shoot videos for the clients. So if I take the Fuji I’ll be a bit more happy Because of those films simulation. On the other hand, there is the Sony That I will enjoy a little bit less, but that is more professional for the company I will start. Which is your recommendation as both Sony and Fuji shooter ?

  Hey! I use Fuji X-H2 for social media marketing! The film simulations are nice but don’t really use them for SMM work but more for personal use. A6700 will have way better autofocus for video related work but personally I have been satisfied with with what the XH2 has been giving me. I was considering Sony as well but felt like Fuji allows me to love the work and the art

  Hi, now that you have been shooting with the X-T5 for a long time. 1. Do you think it would have been better to switch to a Sony A7 IV, especially since it is also good for photo/video? 2. Do you feel there are disadvantages in terms of ISO and noise in night photography with the X-T5 where a full frame camera would be better?

  I have the 16mm wr 1.4 and this 50mmf2. My next in-between is going to be the pancake 27mm. I think be covered for nature, travel, and occasional portraits with family

  I already own the Fuji 23 f 2 and so I'm gonna buy this one as well because I love the focal length and I also like the size and wight. On the streets or when I#m traveling I don't need a f 1.4 which is bigger and heavier. By the way, nice channel I subscribed. :-) Keep up the good work!

  I picked up this lens when it released last year and have really loved it, it's the perfect everyday lens for me and great for travel/street. I did do a comparison with my friends Fuji 27 mk1 and the Fuji is definitely sharper at 2.8, has less vignette and way less flare, and is more compact. But after f4 they are basically indistinguishable, and the TTA has better AF. The TTA definitely also has more 'character' wide open than the Fuji, especially with the very swirly cats eye bokeh and lower contrast, but while that will be a downside for a lot of people I personally like it. I mean I even run a 1/8 diffusion filter haha. But the price! I couldn't even find a new Fuji 27 in stock at the time, and the used prices were also insane, so this lens offered a ton of value for like 1/4 of the price and I'm really happy with it. Anyways, this was a great video and review! I really liked the images you created with it.

  This is very true. I was looking for a Fuji 27mm used, and it comes at around £350 which makes you think. It is a better lens. However, the TTA is the best value for money. It is great to hear your experience comparing the two lenses, though, as I haven't had the chance to compare them side by side yet. Thanks for the comment!👍

  I'm a big fan of TTArtisan lenses and I've been generally quite impressed by the quality vs cost. I really enjoyed the manual trio of lenses on apsc, but I've never tried this 27mm. Great video, Aris. Have a good one, mate🖖

  TTArtisan lenses are interesting. I feel the put a lot in kmage quality ans they manage to achieve a really descent result for the price. I'm glad you liked the video, mate!Keep smashing it!👍

  Will not get the Fuji XT5 even though camera looks so nice. With it’s 40MP, Fuji took away the APS-C’s benefit of having cheaper lenses. (You can find a list of “special” Fuji aps-c lensen on the brands website that you will need to buy in order to have good image quality). Its a more expensive camera actually. So why would you buy an aps-c camera if it’s lenses are going to be as expensive as FF-lenses! When you won’t get the benefit of FF-lenses on a FF-camera? Don’t shoot yourselves in the foot. For me the Sony a6700 seems like a more thoughtful investment, if you want an aps-c camera that won’t break the bank as you get more lenses.

  The thing that held me back on my photographic journey was obsession with shooting at low ISO. This resulted in many blured, missed immages. I do a widerrange of photography. Street, landscape, wilelife and focus staking macro. I now nearly always shoot in manual mode with automatic ISO. I set the speed and apperture for the subject and the ISO can do what it likes. I now always get sharp results. You can deal with noise in post or with street and the Ricoh GR iiix embrace it.

  Indeed. This is a thing we used to be afraid of a few years back. I had the same fears too. What if my ISO goes to high and my photos look full of noise? I think once you learn how to shoot in higher ISOs this changes your photography completely. Opens up a lot more opportunities. Plus most of today's cameras have insane high ISO capabilities. Including the Ricoh! Also the new denoise feature of Lightroom is unimaginably good. I am amazed by it. Thank you so much for your views!

  Plan on setting up my Ricoh to your specs. Quit using DLSR years ago due to logistics. And iPhone worked so well. However, reached a point where when traveling I want something light and easy (check) but with the ability to us Shutter or Aperture priority or a simple Manual set up. Something not full auto but not slow and cumbersome to take both quick pics and set up pics. Hoping your settings get me there to start. Thanks for sharing and trying to take away complexity.

  I hope you managed to set it up and it works for you! Let me now how you are getting one with them. Yeah..Phone cameras are fine but If you really want to control your photographs they don't give you many options. Ricoh is the perfect combination of small size and full camera specs. The quality you can get from it is really good and the experience shooting with it is fantastic. One of my favorite cameras still!

  Beautiful pictures. You seem to have no vignetting with the TT Artisan even wide open at f2.8. I imagine you're shooting raw and correcting in post? Thanks

  Thank you so much! I am aware of the vignetting issue of the lens. To be honest I only noticed it in very specific cases. It wasn't a massive problem for me. Yes, I did use corrections in post too but I believe this would be a problem if shooting in very bright conditions. I'll come back to this issue in my full review video soon. Thanks for pointing it out!

  I bought the Ricoh GRIIIx today on Amazon and now I have to wait for it 2 weeks, so Im watching all the Ricoh GRIIIx videos on KZread Im very exited haha I have just started to learn Photo as Hobby (like 5 months ago) and I have a Nikon z30, is amazing, But very often I can't take it with me because is too big, so I decided to buy the Ricoh GRIIIx, I hope I made the right decision, I'm very excited to start taking pictures with it

  My favorite shot is actually the lady with the headscarf, because of the little red arrow in the middle of the frame points right at her. I really liked that little detail. Great photos as always!

  Very impressive results from this lens Aris. I personally think Bulb shot with bike is top one but 8m insta views on crossing men is a huge achievement. One thing does confuse me. You're using the lens in heavy rain but does it have weather sealing at this price? How can it be so? Also is it autofocus?? -- Sat

  Glad you think so Sat. I liked the bulb shot but I think I will be going back to this spot as I feel I can do better. Indeed (now 9.1M views) is an interesting outcome for such a little video. But it was definitely fun to make. You are right. If I am not mistaken this lens doesn't have weather sealing as far as I know. Let's pretend it was an accident but it did fine to be fair. I do not recommend taking it out in rain though. :P It does autofocus pretty well. Cheers!

  Answer to opening question is “yes, if you accept and work with lens limitations”. Post is more of a promo than regular POV, IMO. Talking head segments underexposed. Cool double exposure pics - topic worthy of its own vid (technical and compositional considerations). Time of day does not challenge lens flare for this lens. Cheers!

  Every piece of gear has its limitations. Surely you need to know them and work with them. Indeed this video is pat of two videos. The first was a POV one and the second one will be a dedicated review. It has taken a while but it is coming out soon. I'll think about another double exposure video although I have to dress it in a way that the algorithm will like :P . I will be talking about lens flare in my review video. Good point! Cheers Paul!
