Hi Mark! This reminds me of a question - how do you deal/handle resentment from folks on traveling? In my 20s, my friends were often traveling. Japan several times, Europe a few more, etc. For one reason or another I couldn't go but I always tried to be happy for them and just told myself my time will come. Now, in my late 30s, I can finally travel! I try to be aware and respectful (that is, not over talk trips) but I'm finding these low-term friends of mine are making "comments." I notice, too, coworkers make snide comments about others who travel. Thank you for all the videos! I've watched you all since 2013 and I remember a nice comment you left on a response from me saying I'll do great when I travel. :) Cheers, Rae
Stay out of orange mound or fraiser, you'll get shot.
From UK just been in Chicago for the 8th time (more times than I’ve been to Liverpool and that’s great as well) stayed at the Ambassadors hotel (superb hotel and area) never get bored of this place came on Amtrak from Seattle . Spent the day on the Metra for $10 most Brits will be amazed at the low cost of that.?
I'll wear the same clothes I wear in America. If Amsterdam doesn't like it they can join the Americans that don't like it. I don't dress to be a local, that would be silly. Turn up your "situational awareness" put your money next to skin. And a fake wallet in your pocket or a purse that contains disposable things you may need.
Scouse nicknames can be brutal, I get called Lurch. Someone else i know walks with a limp and he's called snipers nightmare.
Great video sir! As an Ecuadorean it is really impressive how accurate you are! Been following you for years man! Keep it up 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you for this video. We are flying to Barcelona for a Mediterranean Cruise in July. This video is helpful since we will arrive a few days before the cruise and stay in town a few days after we dock. I’ve been brushing up on my Spanish the last 2 months, but you have provided VERY USEFUL words and phrases. Keep up the great work!
You say they best chicken is away from broadway, but you didn’t say where ?

Another place worth visiting in Granada is the "Monasterio de la Cartuja". Totally recommended and not very crowded.
Spot on advice.
Just came across this amazing video! Thanks for mentioning the West Side Market- I have so many memories of shopping and eating there since I was very young!!
Fantastic review of my country my friend
I can't count the times I've told people, Louisiana is a STATE and New Orleans is a CITY inside the State of Louisiana. There are other cities and towns inside Louisiana to visit. It's like those words go through one ear and out the other.
In Spain we don't say almuerzo for lunch, we say literally comida! Almuerzo is usually a bocata that you eat at 11am for example, in between the breakfast and lunch time (between the desayuno and comida)
Don't expect to hear real country music.
A very good video 😊 as usual
CAT is great if you want to check in your luggage way earlier without going to the airport
Hahaha... thought the same. I love Italy, but I am an introvert, and Italians are very difficult to keep on social distance. But I like Italians and Italy too much anyway. But for living I prefer a quieter place.
Amboise. Pronounce the se. zzz
Thanks for the tips, Mark. Very insightful.
0:03 whats with the Duct tape?
😊😊😊😊🤡
Been! And yes u can’t take pics of otzi or anything in the museum itself. Some stuff but most u can’t!
there is also a taxi-scam, but I only saw it in Vienna. some cab-drivers take a bit of an extra route to push the price up. they do it to drunk people, foreigners and also austrians which are not from Vienna. so always doublecheck the route the taxi is going on google maps or go by uber
Your spanish is awesome!!
Thank you, I'm Hungarian , I enjoyed listen to you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
DON’T get involved in the voodoo.

Olá, estive em Athens agora em Abril /2024 e não cometi nenhum erro que você menciona. A diferença é planejamento, fez toda a diferença para conhecer a Grécia. Realmente, não recomendo visitar o país no verão, o calor deve ser insuportável.
3:10 Wow, only 10 days of PTO? That's insane. I genuinely thought it would be more, you get a legal minimum of 22 days of PTO where I live, which adds up to pretty much a full month if you get all of your PTO at once with all the normal days off you get each week. I genuinely thought that was the norm in all countries from places like Western Europe and North America and stuff.
Lol drinking in public. My brother who lives there drinks in the park all the time
Don't go. There are better places.
Don't go to that bloody Harry Potter shop!
Brillant. For someone who doesn’t live here you are spot on. I live here and I agree with all you said.
As a scotsman who lives here, I thought you done a great job, and to be honest accurate on all points. Well done
You only need 2 phrases. ¿ Donde esta el bano? ¡ Uno mas cerveza por favor!
Hoping to get my wife there in October. AFTER Oktoberfest! I've been there once and don't want to fight those crowds.
I appreciate you mentioning African Americans History.
I appreciate all the valuable information you share with the viewers. However I'm a little bit confused. First you say there's a misconception about Brazil's safety. Afterwards u say to dress down. Is it safe or it's not safe. I traveled all over Europe for example, and no one ever told me to dress a certain way for safety purposes. So the media assumption assumption about Brazil's safety is indeed accurate, I think.
What a pretty area you are in. I enjoyed this video. 😊❤
Well if you eat a burguer in the US you might be eating tongue or heart without even aware, so not that different from brain...
Good video thank you.. I'm nuyorican meaning my parents born in Puerto Rico and they had my brother's and I in Bronx NY so this will be my first trip to PR ever.. I'm going in July 2024 for a whole week and I can't wait.. very excited . My wife is from Brasil so it will be her first time as well. Let's go 😁
I was in Ecuador in 2018 and had a wonderful time! I met many people who were "just passing through" on their way to the Galapagos Islands. I've seen videos showing how much the islands are becoming ruined by tourists. In my opinion the only people who should be allowed to visit the Galapagos Islands are scientists, researchers and, perhaps, documentary filmmakers. The rest, keep away. Don't ruin this unique ecosystem. Besides, Ecuador itself, the real Ecuador, is a fantastic place to visit. You should focus on that.
Alex Jones Spanish class. That's so great.
Can you recommend a free app to help us learn ?
Most who live in Nashville won’t go near Downtown. It’s a tourist circus. 36 years ago I would go downtown to eat and it was busy but doable and nice. Now it’s way to crowded and to many tourist. I’m sure the merchants enjoy the money. I’m not a fan of the hot chicken but many like it. What there is no shortage of downtown is drunks. If that’s your thing you’ll be happy. Funny thing is I know very few that live here wearing cowboy hats and boots. You see it they’re most likely tourist.
People going to other countries should speak that country's language. Not doing so is extremely rude! If you are going to live in a country there is ZERO reason for someone to not learn the language of the country they're moving to. Have so respect or don't go.
I think these are just for tourists; not for anyone who plans to move to the country.
Eh? I've never heard of us not liking what western Europeans call us. Also don't go if your not Polish. Simple.
