    I bought my replacement diamond from Brian after mine had been switched out and the person left town days later. He got me a beautiful diamond and designed and made a gorgeous setting in Art Deco style . Thank you Brian. Trustworthy and so kind to me .

    If you get one with an excellent cut, color and polish, don’t spend the money on the natural thing. Not worth it. You won’t get anything when you try to sell your natural diamonds, so don’t worry about resale value.

    Hi all the information that you provide is excelente , thanks I have a question, I am a bench jeweler and I know that I can heat a diamond when I do a repair drop it in the pickling compound while is hot nothing would happen to the diamond, will a lab diamond withstand and the same as the natural one?

    I think the industry is underestimating the millennials and gen ax’s buying power. If enough consumers stop buying mined and buy lab- well, what’s the market for mined? Honestly, I don’t buy gold because I’m aware of the miner’s lives. I buy silver. I won’t buy a mined Diamond. Leave those diamonds in the earth. Make mines in the lab.

    You calling lab created diamonds synthetic hasn’t aged well. They’re recognized as real diamonds now. But that’s just growth in the industry’s views of the stones

    Update: Brian Gavin Diamonds does sell Lab Grown Diamonds with Hearts and Arrows We are providing our clients with the option to buy Hearts and Arrows lab-grown diamonds by popular demand. In other words, we are responding to a growing number of client requests for lab-grown diamonds that exhibit the superior performance that our patented process delivers. Brian feels that it’s our responsibility to provide our clients with the best sparkle factor available. In that case, we’ve spent the past two years researching the various methods of growing lab-created diamonds. As a result, we’re able to provide our customers with another first in the realm of high-performance diamonds. We were not against lab-grown diamonds, but don’t think that they offer the same value as natural, earth-mined diamonds. Ultimately, we just want to ensure that our clients get the best sparkle factor available whether they prefer natural or lab-grown diamonds. For more checkout: www.bglabdiamonds.com/

    So you're saying that despite lab grown diamonds are real, true diamonds, you and the company you deal with for the small diamonds, have a way of determining and separating the real "natural" grown diamonds and the real "lab" grown diamonds beyond the certificates? I'd be interested to know more about that process.

    Isn’t fluorescence in a diamond with an additional element added specifically boron, so isn’t a diamond supposed to be a crystal of carbon? How is any fluorescence good in a diamond, even if it tricks people into thinking their diamond is whiter at the end of of the day is a crystal of carbon with an additional element in it that is not supposed to be there?

  • @hamishjames2341
    @hamishjames23412 жыл бұрын

    yea but diamond color is also caused by additional elements, so you should only get D color as its pure and Type 2 A . Most peopel cant afford that so thats why floro is a good thing

  • @msk3905
    @msk39052 жыл бұрын

    @@hamishjames2341 so what I am hearing is that most can’t afford a pure diamond so make do with a stone that is not 100% a diamond since it contains other elements other than carbon and because this comes from the ground everyone is ok with it. Yet people insist that a pure carbon crystal that is made from carbon in a lab is worth less (some urge worthless) than the fractional diamond that comes from the earth? That is some weird thinking!

  • @harrymac5229
    @harrymac52292 жыл бұрын

    @@msk3905 we are talking about parts per million of nitrogen atoms in the carbon lattice, its naturally and randomly occurring just like the florescence. That’s what makes each diamond unique and have its own natural fingerprint. Is anything pure ? Why do you need a 100% pure carbon diamond, it doesn’t exist even flawless diamonds have inclusions they are just smaller than 60x magnification.

Having said that we are an ethical company that sources an ethical product and charges a fair price for what it sells. We are not against lab grown they have a place in our jewelry world,It's just a question of what you want in order satisfy your needs.

    Just signed up for an account in Brian’s website as it’s refreshing to hear a sane wise objective mind speaking on Actual Diamonds that can be found in nature. People that are as petty as thinking they are better than everyone else because their diamond came with a "certificate" saying it came from the ground and trying to justify the 5× cost vs someone who got a much bigger and likely better diamond in most/all of the "C's" categories, are likely the same people that fell for the debeers "diamonds are (inherently worthless) forever" campaign. Probably also fell for the stupid "a man should pay 'x' number of months salary for engagement/wedding rings."

    The trotting out of the old SA and De Beers BS about flawless diamonds, blah, blah. Nobody who buys a diamond ring as an engagement does so with the idea that it will one day be sold. I fell for that BS and both my wife and I are sorry that we didn't buy a bigger less perfect stone. I now have a wonderful 1ct diamond that is worth a lot but useless. Spend less buy a big sparkle lab diamond.

    Fluorescence in a diamond becomes a problem when you have a jeweller selling you an M diamond with Fluorescence, which is then graded on the certificate as a J,K . Chances are that you have paid more than you needed to. I personally, love fluorescence in a diamond, but I also know the importance of going to a diamond specialist.

    The only difference between manmade diamonds and natural diamonds, and the one and onl;y difference is that one is made over hundreds of millions of years, and manmade diamonds are made in a matter of weeks. The term "synthetic diamond" is really a misnomer. Both are made from carbon, heat, and pressure; the only true difference being the source of the hat and pressure. Preference is a matter of perspective, and nothing more.
