    Beauty is in the eye of beholder. I just bought a Ascent Touring today after driving a Honda Pilot- Hyundai Palisades, and Toyota Highlander. I think it is nice looking, great car and great price for the quality! Thanks for the review. Auto Academics !!

    Love this hybrid, but I hate the fact he internet says it has fog lights integrated a by the headlights, they look more lijeDTRLs than fog lights Why are headlights becoming an extinct feature as brands move headlights further down the front they don’t operate well in th Florida rain fog lights aren’t a “ convenience feature! They’re necessary for bad weather

    It may not be a true sports suv, but it does have a reasonably powerful motor, enough for effortless overtakes. Combined with the adaptive suspension and active stabilisers it’s surprising how fast this car can hustle through the corners yet remain calm and unflustered. Still the best luxury SUV out there. Engine is both port and direct injected.

    I thought the parking assist feature was a gimmick on my Palisade....until somebody parked so close I couldn't get into the driver's seat. I used the assist feature and it was brilliant.

    🤣 Gotta love Mercedes marketing material. But I say it as they name it so you know what you're getting. I haven't tested the nav's ability to locate charging off the beaten path, but any place there are businesses or people it does a decent job. As always, thanks for watching, aperxmim!

    Plug in hybrid sucks. You have to be very consistent on driving to take advantage of the hybrid. It has 35 extra mph fully charge. It takes about 14 to 15 hours charge. Not my cup of tea!!!

    My pleasure! So I’m in the market for a Bullitt. I own a 13’ Boss 302 and I love that car, but it’s pretty brash, in your face all the time. I’m keeping it, but need one I can road trip, relax in, but still go balls out once in a while. How much do you enjoy your Bullitt, highly recommended?

  • @AutoAcademics
    @AutoAcademics15 күн бұрын

    The Bullitt wasn't mine. It was on loan from Ford for the review, but during the week I had it, I really liked it. If I had to guess, it should be noticeably more refined than your Boss 302 (which is pretty cool, mind you), but it can still be fairly loud, if you're ok with that. It would definitely make for a cool stable of Stangs, tho. 💪🏾

    I have that same car. It's a V6 twin Turbo I love it, however my only drawback. Is that it makes to be about 600 horses, 600 pound-feet of frog by highway cruising. Edit, and it definitely needs a bigger gas type for distance. Say about thirty five gallons

    The 3 cylinder engine is being investigated by the feds for premature failure. Some have failed before the first oil change with bearing failures in the bottom end. I have a 13 with 295k on it, one tranny at 190k and normal oil changes mobil one since I bought it new. My wife had a 12 SL and was totaled by an idiot on her phone, she wanted a new rogue and I didn't want a 3 cylinder turbo bomb problem so we got a cx 5 instead.
