    WONDERFUL cars... I bought an '86 in 1992 and drove it for more than a decade. Fast (enough), good mileage, dependable, super comfortable, roomy, handled like a dream, and the whine of the turbo made me Grin every time. Loved it. I'd kill to have another in X-cellent condition.

    My 40th is a sage. Number 2837 and it now has 404,000 miles on it. Still runs like new. Fully maintained, all stock and no leaks. I've had it for 18 years.

    The Jeep Wrangler gets annihilated every year in crash tests. The work thing is kind of wishy, washy. Yes, these trucks are small in comparison. But people forget that the Ford Ranger had a hold on the American working man just as much as the Super duty did. Obviously, the 70 series isn't going to be hauling a cattle trailer. But a guarantee that it will find its market. Ford took a leap of faith reviving the Bronco name. Which opened a path for the maverick. Believe me, the 70 series would sell to a lot of people. The 70 series had a slight redesign last year. With the addition of another engine option. I think they need to find a test market in the US.

    Hey just curious if you ever installed fog lights? I have a 23 Trail and I love it. Just been thinking about installing fog lights if its possible.

  • @neagle1688
    @neagle16884 ай бұрын

    I have a 23 trail edition and I’ve done some work to it. Fog lights are probably next for me. Rough country makes a set for about $150 that are easy to install. If you’re looking around make sure the website states “fits on models without factory fog lights” because it seems a lot of companies only make them for Tacoma’s that already have factory fog lights.

    Great video! I had the 93 black Montero 5spd in 2015 but was hit and totaled. Miss that beautiful machine. However, I bought a 91 LC and these are amazing vehicles. You are right on point with the specs and thank for this video. (Was looking into buying another Montero, as a second runner, so that's how I found your video). Cheers!

    The bigger wheels cost more , cause more drag , uses more fuel , puts more stress on the drive line , slows the car down and adds more weight Australia 🇦🇺

    Please elaborate on your experience at triple digit speeds in one of these please. I have an 02 and it's comfortable at 75 and never thought to go faster as it is what it is, what was your long-term high-speed cruising speed if I may ask? I had a friend who drove one back and forth from Arizona to Minnesota for years and loved it but he was not doing over 75 either, thanks

    Hey folks, another proud Trail Edition owner. Purchased mine used with 12000 miles on it. Former owner only had it for 10 months. It came without the storage and cooler boxes and a owners manual. it's okay though I now have both boxes in the garage brand new from Toyota. Will install them this spring. Owners manual is coming in the mail brand new still in it's plastic wrapper. should get it by Friday. This is my third Toyota truck and my new Daily Driver. Truck # 2 is still in the driveway taking a much needed rest after 20 years of hard driving.
