I know EXACTLY where this starts On the right at 0:39 is where the Hyatt Regency is, I did work on their west tower when they renovated the whole thing, and just finished in the east tower renovations! We parked in the garage to the right at the start of the video, and it always smelled like weed and piss.

I was staying on Wacker and riding a shuttle to McCormack Place. When the driver made a right and went into what I thought was an under ground parking lot all I could do was look ip.I knew the roof was coming off. Then we came into daylight and followed a blacktop to McCormack place. What a ride. What model of Tourrider does PCC have. Nice video for drivers who have never been to Chicago.

WOW, Sure are a lot of lights down there Alblua💡💡💡Must cost a fortune to keep them all illuminated day and night. And looks like your big bus just barely fits the clearance must be only a few inches to spare😮 I think many years ago Greyhound had a fairly large terminal down in there somewhere off of Wacker. I always liked to see all those dogs with the red and blue paint schemes parked at an angle at those big city bus stations way back in the 70's and 80's. Nowadays they just stop at a gas station or a bus stop sign by the side of the road🚏🚌 My How times have changed. Good Video my friend👍

This is super cool! One of the most exciting opportunities of the job. One of the highlights of my driving is driving a congressional group from the Capitol to Andrews AFB as they were flying out to Harry Reid’s funeral. After dropping them at the door of their 737-BBJ (C-40B?) thing, I got to drive alongside AF2 taxiing (the 757), with VP onboard. I hope secret service does not hound me for this comment. We will sit back and see lol

I have been on upper wacker. Never been down on lower wacker and basement wacker. Those amber lights do give off eerie feeling! Gotten used to new led streets lights and not used to amber lights anymore!

Yes, the Prevost will fit in most areas! In fact, the north end of the Chicago Busway is accessed on the third lower level as well. Prevost H3-45 is 12' 4", Tourrider Business is 12' 1", and the Tourrider Premium is 12' 3".

It varies depending on where you are, but the entrance ramps to the lower levels are all 12' 6". Your little guy that sets up in the front of the bus with you that little car that came around he said oh my he said they think there's something. You know if you're going from that cold to that hot in one day you're going to catch cold. My preference was always Prevost and the Carpenter school bus and since there was only one carpenter that they ever carried it was a International engine because it was only diesel that district ever had it had air brakes and air everything and that was before they ever dreamed of it. But it had a standard transmission air brakes air door and an air stop sign. My grandmother always had the preference for a superior coach with a Chevrolet engine. And I can't blame her it drove the easiest of any school bus I ever seen. a nice ride again you did a real nice job. Enjoyed every second of it

Nope, this has a Detroit DD13 with an Allison transmission. There isn't a hybrid motorcoach that exists as far as I know in the US.

Our schedule runs have dedicated drivers that drive a designated route. During capacity increases, charter drivers will drive additional buses to boost capacity.

Very Cool ride through the town on the J4500 Alblua👌 I really like the looks of this bus especially the camera angle on the rear wheels the rims are so super shiny clean and so is the body Super Spectacular to admire fancy bus! Do those monitors play movies and if so does the signal come from satellite or how does it work? Hope your scheduled run went smooth and had some time to stop for a good meal at the city diner🍔🍟🥤😋 Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video😊

Kudos to our wash crew and maintenance team that keep our buses looking good! The monitors are connected to a DVD player or HDMI input, no satellite connection.
