    "What do we expect from this guy, huh?" 1:01:24. Announcers, while citing golfing of TIGER WOODS, arguably don’t use his name, TIGER". They use pronouns or refer to him as "This or That GUY. You don't hear this of announcers in England. Brits proudly say his name, TIGER WOODS. It's structural bias. Gold can't forget that TIGER WOODS is a Black man, showing up all their loveable White and Non-Black players. The other sub-racial approach is to refer to him in other-worldly terms, like the film industry does to Black Actors, (Magical). "That can't be." TIGER brought Non-White audiences to the game, increased purses ($). They tried to defeat him with re-design of courses. This is structural bias, if not structural RACISM.

    I was at this tournament and watched the amazing playoff. Tiger murdered his drive right down the middle of the fairway and so did John Daly. Tiger's drive easily had 300 yards of carry.

    What’s funny is there was a horse in the Kentucky Derby this same year in 2000 called Hal’s Hope. Didn’t win the Derby, but Hal did win the Players later on in May. 😃

    I’ve been a tiger fan since 95 when he was in college he needs to stand up to the PGA and what they’re doing to the LIV golfers it’s a travesty and it’s hypocritical and it needs to stop so therefore tiger you can go to you know where

    Tiger is not only talented, but he plays the other golfers. He knows if he waits long enough, they will make mistakes. It's won him a lot of tournaments. That discipline is incredible and not many of them have it.

    Woods was the most talented and exciting player in the history of the game. He should have held the two biggest victory records by himself, but he self destructed.

  • @billbigshlong382
    @billbigshlong3828 ай бұрын

    He owns literally every other record the game has ever seen. Majors are just simply overrated. 90 percent of tour players surveyed said they would rather have a career with 10 wins than a career with only one major win and nothing else.

  • @waldolydecker8118
    @waldolydecker81186 ай бұрын

    You and your family would pray to have Tiger's "self-destructed" results: Even if he NEVER wins another tournament...(1) already a Billionaire, and smart investments will keep him set for eternity (2) 82 PGA wins, tied for most in history and achieved in a shorter period of time and against a far diverse and tougher field of competitors than Sam Sneed, (3) 15 Majors, second only to Nicklaus and the only significant PGA tour stat that Nicklaus still surpasses Woods - the other couple of dozen, Woods has already surpassed Jack, often lapping Jack along with the others. Get off your high horse and your fairy tale ending...life rarely is storybook. What usually happens is you have to take the good with the bad. Dragnet's Jack Webb only wanted the facts...what was done, and what wasn't done...all the pontification about what "coulda, woulda, shoulda" is speculative nonsense. Just the facts accomplished on the field of play is what matters...the rest is speculative conjecture. What are the facts taken from the field of play you ask? The record book is clear....without needing to do anything else, Woods is already the most accomplished PGA golfer in history. Its not an emotional choice; remove the emotion and go step by step and compare the PGA numbers across the board...its not even close.
