Allow me to fix the narration of the AI for you all. -Wilmington is an overly priced trash heap where folks are slammed right on top of each other. The Paywages don't match up to the cost of living. Wilmington is a clutter mess traffic wise where you get to see the poor town vibes roaming the streets daily. You've got the rich people side then the poor people side and they make it known. They're currently building apartments and homes every day for more people to stream in regardless of wether or not their is actual room for them. The only thing it embraces is milking money from the less fortunate. Whilst there are several beaches. None of them are pristine as they're always full of entitled rich folk energy and ignorant college students. Both are equally as lazy and entitled and refuse to do simple things such as use a turning signal when driving. You're better off living off grid somewhere or away from Wilmington. The myth that there is great paying jobs, yes there is just like anywhere else if you qualify for them. Want to enjoy peaceful, easier living go anywhere but Wilmington. My rent alone was raised 650 dollars immediately after the covid speel died down. They're still finding more and more ways to add to the rent here for places thay have been fixed by band aid after band aid. You want to fill the corrupt governor or the governments pockets or one of the slum lords that will overly price your apartment or home whilst all the bandaids start falling apart. Choose Wilmington. Such a great place to vacation to, not live. I grew up here and have watched it all 360. Don't be fooled by the fake advertisement videos spoken through Bots. You've been informed. 🍻 Hope the truth sets you free. If you choose to live in an apartment out here. Enjoy the roaches that will share your living space rent free. 😂

Florida? I don't think you did enough research. Florida has high sales taxes, is stifling hot and humid during the summer months. Primary industry is tourism which takes a hit every economic downturn, and the jobs barely pay a living wage. Add in the high cost of home insurance, high violent and property crime, hurricane season, red tide, rising ocean waters, lack of healthcare options, Florida shouldn't have made the top ten list.

I'm seriously wondering if this list is supposed to be a spoof of some kind. Most of these places on the list (not all) are among the WORST places to live and/or retire in Mississippi. There are some great places in Mississippi but not on this list. I would recommend considering Oxford or the gulf coast.

I think i need to do a video about living in Wyoming. I've lived in Wyoming for 41 years. Its never told like it really is. And they never show the real pictures that go along with the area. Like Riverton. It's right on the reservation. Not close to the Wind River range. Yeah there's good things about living in Wyoming but also some things that aren't good either.

Can someone please explain to me about the numbers they reached for Sheridan, Wy. How in the hell, can the average household income be $52,000.00 and the median home price be $782,000.00. In what world is it possible to make 52k a year and be able to afford a 3/4 million dollar + Mortgage? Because I cant see how thats possible.

  • @familyfinancewarriors

Thank you for your comment and for bringing up a very valid question regarding the housing situation in Sheridan, WY. You're right to be puzzled by the disparity between the average household income and the median home price; it does seem quite stark at first glance. Let me try to provide some clarity on this matter. The market dynamics, including housing prices and interest rates, are indeed constantly changing. These fluctuations can result from various factors such as supply and demand, economic conditions, and policy changes, among others. It's important to consider that people may have purchased their homes during different market conditions when prices were lower or when interest rates were more favorable. Additionally, there are also various financial strategies and products that can enable homeownership in seemingly unaffordable scenarios, such as different types of mortgages, longer repayment terms, or even external financial support. For example, let's imagine a scenario from a few years back when the housing market might have been more favorable. Someone could have purchased a house in Sheridan, WY, when prices were significantly lower than they are today. Over time, as the market appreciated, the value of their home increased to its current median price. Meanwhile, their mortgage payments would have remained relatively consistent if they had a fixed-rate mortgage, making it more manageable compared to their income level. Furthermore, the median home price doesn't necessarily reflect the entire housing market. There could be homes that are more affordable, albeit less common, and not all households might aim for the median-priced home. There are also various assistance programs and creative financing options that can help bridge the affordability gap for many buyers. It's also worth noting that the figures quoted, such as the average household income and median home price, are subject to change and can vary significantly over time and under different economic conditions. In essence, while the numbers might seem incongruous at first, various factors contribute to making homeownership possible, even in scenarios where it appears challenging. The key is understanding the broader context and the various tools and strategies available to prospective homebuyers. I hope this explanation sheds some light on the situation. Thank you again for your insightful question.

There is no place to live cheap in Wyoming. Everything that you purchase to live is high priced. Compare competitive pricing in Houston to pricing in WY. There is a reason; Wyoming is isolated from the rest of the US and Salt Lake City and Denver are the closest big cities, and they are not cheap. We lived there for three years and we could not stay.

So I'm retired thinking of moving to Oahu, I want to "RENT" a apartment, I like lots of people, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, Oh, and I love the beach. I use a Handicap scooter for distance, but can walk. Where would you suggest for me? I could live in a "residence hotel" that catered to tourists and residents.
