  @@jessiefaller314 it is still working strong. It has been a very reliable unit. We've been having 100 degree weather and it keeps the rooms cool. During the winter even when our temperature went down to -19 it stayed warm. I've had no problems out of this unit

  @@cameroncabrera1219 The only filter you clean is on the head unit just open it up there's two filters pull them out either use compressed air or gently wipe it with a cloth

  Never tap into wires before the connector. Always tap into the ones after the connector. Keeps things clean especially if you swap radios later, and especially since different radios may need a different tap in Also keeps the stock wires intact since those arent as easily replacable as the wires after the connector are...

  I've been installing radios for 40 years, I actually get paid to do these things, I'm not sure if you paid attention to the video but the aftermarket wire harness does not come with those wires in it so there's nowhere you could tap into it LMAO, WHEN YOU TRY TO GIVE ADVICE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. I think the wire job looked pretty clean I don't know how much cleaner you want it to be? You know instead of trying to give somebody advice for how I installed a radio when you clearly have no clue on what you're talking about, what you should do since you were looking at my video is say thank you. Apparently you're trying to figure out how to install this device so you could give me a thank you instead of coming on here thinking you know something. Go ahead and Post a link to your car radio installs. I appreciate you trying to be a butthole but don't worry I know how to install car radios I've been doing it probably before you were even born. Now look at the rest of my videos and learn something this time. LMAO

  This is a tricky situation, I found out that they don't warranty the US. So your best chances of repairing it is to call a licensed HVAC tech. You could try calling the company but I doubt they're going to send you any parts. These units that are being sold from Mexico into the United we're never intended to be sold into the United. Unfortunately though people's greed and customers not willing to pay a lot of money for a product has created a demand for these air conditioners. They're great when they work but repairing them as a nightmare because unless you find parts on eBay or other websites you cannot get replacement parts for these the warranty is only honored in the country of Mexico

  @@rondemeio5337 Thank you I appreciate the info. I’m hoping I can fix it as the unit was a hand me down. I know that the outside unit powers off and needs to be turned on manually then turns back off. This was the diagnosis per the hvac tech. He said just buy a new one! I believe in up-cycling if possible.

  @@danielaguerrero167 if you have the exact model I have you plug it up into your 110 receptacle inside the house. Most 110s do not require a disconnect outside, with that said there are some models being produced nowadays that do require an outside disconnect

  They are numbered and color coded on that particular machine. All you have to do is install the wires from left to right take a picture and do the exact same thing on the inside unit remember the connectors don't care what number or color the wires are as long as they are on the exact same connection on compressor and head unit

  @@HectorArizaga wiring will vaery from different makers and models, the unit in the video is 110, the unit in the video has a 110 plug on the inside and two wire sets with I believe it's 3wires in one and 2 wires in the other, those wire connect the inside unit to the outside unit. Some 240-volt units wire up the same way and then some wire up where the outside unit is hooked up to 240 on the outside. There are plenty of install directions on KZread if you need help

  Yes the outside unit receives all its power from the inside unit the inside unit plugs into a 110 receptacle

  If you guys don't want to vacuum the lines, connect them the way they should be, but before opening any of the hex valves, only slightly open the high pressure side, then under the low pressure hex valve, will be a valve stem, press on it until you see freon coming out instead of air, ones that comes out, open the low pressure side and that'll be set

  I got mine last one on clearance for $10 would of gone navy blue but only had white. They seems like "girly headphones" but after opening the box there not really. I am very pleasantly surprised of the audio and how it fits around my ear, feels like I'm in a room listening to a concert. For $10 I made a good decision.
