If you listen to early UB40 from the early days, Duncan does sound like Ali. It's so sad how it went north with them all, a wonderful Reggae band and great people.
You should make more videos again.....
Good on you for show casing this library. Its Superb
great band, i've met Alan a number of times at the music shop where he worked, a great guy who is willing to help with anything musical.
Terrible scaling. Some parts of the screen scale unproportional to the scale. In 2023 the GUI has no fluid scaling ? what a shame ! It looks good on this video, but after I installed it on 4K monitor it is quite poor readability. No colors customization :-( " it sucks !
Yes, that is true. Remember this software is over 15 years old now. You should look into Falcon, the new version is incredible.
The responsibilities of logistics are enormous just as for the military however that's even greater but I had an opportunity during the STONES STEEL WHEELS tour to get a glimpse of some of the behind the scenes erection of their enormous stage and the safety elements that are incorporated into the construction of such a mammoth "temporary " structure that is built in a day and disassembled in about 3/4 of a day. They told me they had a total of 4 exact replicas world wide that during the tour were in different stages of construction or de - construction at any given time. Amazing considering just maybe 4 decades earlier the Stones were driving from show to show in a van with their equipment and at times sleeping with it . I'd call that a successful rock n' roll band .
UB faulty
Handy.
More to come.
They make that motivational music
We haven't spoken with the band in a while now, I presume they're still playing. Cool guys.
Ceep it coming
Hey thanks, plenty more on the way!
Can you do Albion Solstice at some stage?
Sure, that's on our to-do list for sure.
Awesome review. How did you hold the note at 11:20?
Hi thanks for the support! That was just with the sustain pedal. Awesome library.
Sir pls t racks 3 deluxe send me link for free
What computer information does it take to run these programs. Your tutorials are flawless. Yes we need the tutorials & also computer info like ram, hard drive etc.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We have a bunch of new reviews coming soon, will definatly include system specs as well. Cheers
@@MusicNation-TV Thanks!
Used it for years , top tip for Acid use fabfilter Saturn for distortion with it we got great results with this in the old days
Soz for the leggy reply :) Yes, I agree 100% I tested this with Saturn and it's amazing. The only problem is the quite high resource requirements. The built-in distortion is nearly as good.
Awesome band. Where they go?
I know, love them.
Hh
Cool. Brings back Propellerhead memories.
I want to see more of that drum machine, it sounds sic. Cant belive this is only $90, they have a bunch of stuff that look wicked
Ok, cheers. I'll see if we can knock together a review on the Drumazon.
Currently on sale for $29.
OMFG.....where has this been all my life!
Haha, IKR!
wow. that export will make it wicked easy to do key changes. thx!
Yes, its genius. You can use the song builder to do the same thing, but I love the export for saving random little accidents you make that don't quite fit the current track that you might be able to use on something else in the future.
@@MusicNation-TV I see you can export full patches to your desktop too - this is begging for some kind of patch swap website
@@immortality9613 Hey -wicked idea!
Wish they implemented midi control on the random params...
Oh, yes that would be really cool. I'll check into that, as it does have MIDI output.
@@MusicNation-TV looks like I overlooked it... If I right click on any of the random params, I get to MIDI learn the knob. The problem is it's not showing up in ableton map list. Any idea how to get it mapped?
@@syntheshwara Ooof, Im not an Ableton guru, soz. That might be worth a quick email to the support team, they're really helpful and respond quickly. Let me know if you get it sorted, I'd like to try that.
About the L/R delay - you're not right :) You can click EDIT under DELAY tab to expand its panel for more parameters! Cheers!
Yes, there are advanced parameters for all effect. But you can't pan the output of the synth or FX internally. You can alter the delay lengths, its not the same as how Rebirth did it.
This video is 14 minutes of talking and annoying mouth sounds, and 1 minute of actual plugin audio.
Thanks for the feedback.
Well, you obviously expected something different, like a sound demo of Phoscyon 2 perhaps. This is not what this video is about. It's about teaching us how to use different aspects of Phoscyon 2 (like that randomization or the distortion) to achieve cool trance patterns in almost no time! And I personally learned so much here! Now I have completely new ideas and motivation to play around with those features and I already managed to make some really cool trance patterns myself using those techniques shown here. I also like that using the randomization features gives so surprisingly good results! I like being surprised by a plugin, not knowing in advance what exactly I will get. 🙂 Thanks for this video!
@@freddydee3800 Hey, thanks for the support Freddy. Yes, hoping to make more little "life hacks" that I discover while reviewing the software that don't just echo all the other channels. Critiques are always good as we can improve our next vid. Cheers mate.
Jack Daniel's bottle strategically placed
Hahaha - damn, you caught us!
Just discovered Tami yesterday. WOW! What a singer!
Yeah, she's amazing eh! Lovely in real life too.
Robin hitting the botox and hair dye hard...
Well, it was nearly 7-years ago.
@@MusicNation-TV My goodness!!! He must look even worse now then! Your comment is odd - it's clearly a nod of approval for anyone to use hair dye and botox as they age.
What type of keyboard are you performing on? I am thinking of purchasing the keylab88 Arturia. Is this a great piano daw controller for spitfire audio? My goal is too combine Albions, Abbey Road One, and the BBC Symphony libraries for film scoring & my Gospel album work. When I purchase my digital yamaha clp 785 upright piano will I be able to play the spitfire audio libraries?
how did you align the individual intruments to EZDrummer from RealiDrums? Example, How did you get the kick in RealiDrums to trigger the kick in EZDrummers?
Ye are nothing without ali
Nice review! Is it possible to automate the “complexity” controls?
Great work but the snare roll and crash together at 39:06?
Love ❤ ub40 but I liked it with all of the original people. Some issues going on with the brothers falling out with each other which is a real shame but that's families for ya .I did see Ali recently and he was great 👍 love ❤ all their music 🎶 🎵 ❤
I LOVE that song by coral pitcher don't give up on the music woooow!
No Legato patches in this one?
one love guys
Love ub40
nice channel music nation tv - love your content - any new episodes in the works for 2022?
Hey Ralphe - sorry, I missed your comment. Some ideas in the works, we should chat.
This gentleman has a very high pressure position in the machine that is the stones tour. I don't envy him but I certainly appreciate him and applaud him. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE ROLLING STONES !!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations, Arli is a wonderfullll Musician.
For those of you who likes to Wright realistically..col legno is not too great for the bow so personally I don't use it for more than hits and if I want to add heaviness to the melody once in a while.
Bro I need more music! I can’t wait anymore!!!!!
Very helpful, thanks. The groove generator is particularly well designed
Vikae is amazing, saw her live earlier this year.
VIkae is one of favourite people.
Love Kiwi music!
It sounds like a lot of mess with those time signatures
Hi Orio, its not as bad as it looks as its mostly done in the DAW. But yeap, its a complicated track.
But can you compose a song with this isntrument? Or can you only drag and drop patterns into DAW and compose the song there? If the latter is the case, where's the time saving?
You can't compose like with Toontracks EzDrummer, this is more designed to work with a DAW where you import your MIDI groove and arrange it in the sequencer.
Duncan is a nice bloke but he is a crap singer. I like Duncan, but he should try and persuade Robin to hire a professional singer. Duncan would be great as an events co-ordinator for UB40 - as he is one of the original brothers from the Campbell family. He definitely should have a key role in the band - but not as a singer.
He's a really nice guy, love chatting with him when he's in the country. He's in a tough situation and doing the best he can.
@@MusicNation-TV Agreed mate. But i still think that Duncan should have been placed in a management role. Robin was desperate to keep things in the family, so he asked Duncan to be the lead singer. That was a tactical error on Robins part. Sorry to disappoint you mate. But the masses of hardcore UB40 fans agree with me on this. Like I said, Duncan is a nice bloke - but desperate decision made by Robin in the spur of a moment can certainly backfire - and they did here - big time!
I entered Rolling Stones back stage , I’m sorry but all the video shows is a punk telling me the lights will go back to its owners and ya da ya da why does KZread lie so much if I wanted to see a punk I would enter Donald Trump or something like that I want to see Mick and the boys back stage not a punk thank you .
You need to calm down, punk.
@@johnpaul6966 Did you know it’s good to be a punk , a punk is a good thing , because out in this world there is a lot worse , ahh punk is a Releaf got to be something :/
Haha, awesome comment.
👍💖Thanks so much for this interview. I found Tami via Brokenwood. Love love love her voice. And it is great to find out about her background.
Glad you enjoyed it
