Do you guys remember if they had mimosas.? And if that is part of the ALL INCLUSIVE package.?
Yes mimosas were included in the all inclusive package! Thanks for watching 🥂
Hi. That little electronic chirp every time you switch between shots is incredibly annoying (to me anyway) Watched the whole video but only 'cos it was a short film
Thanks for the feedback, we’re trying to improve our production👍
Thank you for sharing! I’ve been trying to decide if I wanted to upgrade and now I believe I do!
There are plenty of reasons to upgrade. We had a great time in the Yacht Club but keep in mind, it’s not perfect! Thanks for watching, cheers 🥂
I’ve sailed on MSC cruise line 3 times as a serf(ordinary passenger) and it has never taken us over two hrs. The longest I would say was about 40 minutes from drop off to on board.
I’m glad you haven’t experienced a long delay getting off the ship. Unfortunately we’ve had over 2 hour delays getting off ships in Port Canaveral. This was in 2023 so I’m hopeful that their processes are continuing to improve. Thanks for watching 🥂
Awesome info on the MSC Yacht Club!!
We’re glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching🥂
@@SippingSunset Question what is the dress code in the dining room? Ex Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner.
How was disembarkation? Priority status as well? Have watched several other vids indicating that madness sometimes requires 2hrs to get ashore to go home.
For the Yacht Club, disembarking is super fast. The butler will escort you all the way to the front of the line! Thanks for watching, cheers 🥂
Great video with details. Thanks so much!
Thanks for watching 🥂
Hi,thanks great information. Question????? How far is the famous 5th Avenue from The Hotel. Thanks
It’s just 2 blocks, less than 5 minutes walk! Thanks for watching🍻
Appreciate the video. Big help. Me and wife are looking to go here next year and looks awesome. Good heads up about the pool party from 12-2. Hopefully we’ll be having lunch around that time
Thanks for watching, I’m glad it was helpful! We also have a walking tour video that shows the whole resort! Hilton Playa del Carmen Full Walking tour kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5Oi2tygaKm6ZrQ.html
i watched this and seen 6 things I like!
🤣🍻
I’m so glad I saw your video. You saved us!😊
So glad we could help, enjoy your time in Playa!
Try the Barceló Maya Grand Resort.
That one is on our list for sure!
@@SippingSunset We have been there no joke 11 times we love ❤️ it so much. Stay at the Palace or the adults only
You did a great job with this video… New subscriber here… We will be on MSC seashore in the Yacht Club in September 2024🚢
You’re going to have a great cruise, we loved the Seashore Yacht club… Thank you so much for the compliment and subscribing! I think we are finally learning how to make good videos. Stay tuned, we’re got more coming!
@@SippingSunset do you have another cruise planned? We cruised in the yacht club on the seashore in January 2024 and really enjoyed it… It was great watching your video to remind us of the fun we are going to have again…
We’re cruising the Seaside out of Miami at the end of June! It will be our 1st time on the Seaside, we loved the Seashore, it’s a great ship!
@@SippingSunset we were on the seaside in the Yacht Club and either 2017 or 2018 I can't remember… We spent so much money back then but it was the new thing and we wanted to try it… we would never spend that kind of money again… No matter how good it was… My sister Renee twisted my arm… And we decided to join her… Liked the seaside but didn't love it… Probably didn't give it enough of a chance since I was with my sister and we don't normally cruise together you will have a great time… Will you be in the yacht club?
No Yacht Club this time😢. But, we’ll have a great time, it’s a free cruise we got from casino status matching.
Is the private restaurant included in the price?
Yes it is! We ate there almost every meal, the dinners were great and the service was exceptional 👏
Was the casa azul tequila included?
It’s been a while, but I think casa azul was included! We hope you have an awesome vacation, cheers 🥂
@@SippingSunset thank you!
Is the Yacht Club pool deck adults only?
Hi, thanks for watching! The Yacht Club pool deck is not adults only. In our 3 Yacht Club cruises, we saw very few kids in the Yacht Club. Cheers 🥂
Thanks for the video. We are going to a wedding in May at the Five Beaches Resort but I wanted some other cheaper options. Can you walk to downtown playa del Carmen especially 5 th avenue . Is it in a safe surrounding area. Thanks again
Yes you can walk to 5th Ave. It’s only a couple blocks away but you’ll be at the north end of 5th near 42nd street. There’s shopping and good restaurants and bars. It’s definitely a safe area! Thanks for watching, cheers!
Did you guys book your stay through the resort or did you guys use like Expedia or Hotwire ? We are going in 2 weeks , but I heard that if you book all inclusive through Expedia you have to pay for all inclusive again when you arrive .
Anytime we book in Mexico it’s always directly through the resort! There’s less of a chance for “surprises”😁 Thanks for watching and have a great trip, cheers!
Sorry? What did we not know about? It's the same in every YC. I bet she has a load of therapists and cries every night. I'd like to know what we don't know about. Americans are a nightmare.
Hey is the beach private for the people staying at the Reef? Also is there chairs on the beach for clients from the hotel? Thanks in advance!
Nope it’s a public beach about 2 blocks away. There is a great beach club there called Mamitas. Also you can get a day pass for the Reef Playacar or Reef Coco Beach, both of those resorts have a private beach. Thanks for watching🍻
MY FAVORITE ROOM ON THAT SHIP!!!
We talked to a lot of people that loved these cabins! Thanks for watching, cheers 🍻
Did you have a set arrival time. If so did you arrive on time or earlier?
Our set time was at noon but we showed up at 10:30 and we got ushered right on the ship! Thanks for watching, cheers 🍻
I had one once and I agree. The balcony wasn’t as useful or pleasant as with an ocean view, so I would save my money next time and just get an interior or spend the little extra to get a balcony with an ocean view.
We absolutely agree! Thanks for watching 🍻
How did the specialty restaurants work with all inclusive? Is it one entree? Or do you pay?
If you don't upgrade to the premium package, you have to pay $15 for the Hibachi. The Italian and Mexican are included and you can order as much as you like! Thanks for watching, cheers!
Are you able to keep any unopened bottles of alcohol?
Yes! You can take the bottle with you when you get off the ship. On our last trip, they gave us vodka in the room and we asked for gin instead. They let us keep both! I'm surprised they provide a bottle in the room, the Top Sail Lounge is so close and you can drink as much as you want. Thanks for watching, cheers!
How far is the closets beach walking distance to reef 28?
It’s only about 2 blocks. There’s a great beach club there called Mamitas! Thanks for watching. Cheers 🍻
I was going to ask what's up with those upcharges? But that has to do with the "premium" upgrade since there are essentially 2 levels of all inclusive at the reef resorts. We will actually be staying at Reef Playacar but spending a day at Coco beach with our upgrade
You are an exactly right, it was the premium upgrade. You’ll love the Reef Playacar. It has a great beach and the jungle setting is super cool. Thanks for watching, cheers!
Did you have to get your own transportation to the hotel? I wasn't included to pick you up from the airport
We always get our own private transportation to Playa del Carmen! We’ve found that even if it’s included with your reservation they can fill up the van with people going to other resorts! In can take forever to get to your resort after multiple stops dropping other people off. We use Cancun Airport Transportation every time. We are the only ones in the van and they take us straight from the airport to the resort in about 40 minutes, it’s so worth it! www.cancunairporttransportations.com/affiliates/reserve?idaff=1562
Can you compare the Yacht Club to the Celebrity Retreat?
We were on the Celebrity Apex 2 years ago. We think celebrity is better on the food and service but the Yacht Club lounge and pool on the Seaside and World Europa were much better! If price was not a consideration, we’d pick Celebrity but we really enjoyed the Yacht Club. Here’s a video we did in the Celebrity Apex, hopefully our videos are better now 😁 Celebrity Apex- The Retreat Review. Our 1st time in a suite! kzread.info/dash/bejne/aXh40rFvg7PQmpc.html
@@SippingSunset I will watch your celebrity retreat video… We just got off Celebrity Beyond on march 22, 2024 in the main area not the retreat… I liked the Beyond but did not love it… But I did love Kate who we have sailed with twice before… Crew was great but it was just some thing and I can't put my finger on it I did not love… Interesting that you said you like celebrity retreat better as I hear so often that people like MSC Yacht Club so much better… Looking forward to your video… We have never stayed in the retreat on Celebrity… Way out of our price range… We have taken 11 celebrity cruises… I do like the solstice class I believe…
I live in Spain. I was sad MSC contacted us to say the cruise we'd book was cancelled (it was for 7 days in May 2024 - NYC to Bahamas) and that we wont get to experience the island of OceanCay in YC category (although we've visited once before in Fantastica category .) But the good thing was that they offered us for the same price 11 nights in YC to the Eastern Caribbean! Its costing us only € 2.700 in TOTAL ( we got a voyager discount, too.)🎉❤❤
Wow! 2700 euro for 11 nights is amazing, congrats on that deal! You'll have an amazing cruise.
Wow… That's amazing…!!!!!
My wife and I love the MSC Yacht Club! We found the Yacht Club after we left Disney Concierge when our kids grew up. We find it to be, dollar-for-dollar, the best value in a luxury cruising experience. Pro Tip: head up to the Yacht Club pool deck on Embarkation Day for lunch! Great video!
We agree, the Yacht Club is great. We’ve been twice, once on the World Europa and once on the Seashore. We’re back in the Europa in March, can’t wait! Thanks for the lunch tip, we’ll definitely do that next time, cheers!🍻
@@SippingSunset oh wow, the Top Sail Lounge on World Europa is beautiful isn't it! The only thing I didn't like about that Med cruise is having passengers embarking/disembarking at each port of call throughout the voyage. You don't have as much time to meet & converse with your fellow passengers. I think that takes something away from the cruise experience.
@SippingSunset Exciting! So your coming over here to Europe 🎉. We plan to reserve this summer a place on the new World América for 2025❤
We sailed the Europa in September and we're going again at the beginning of March. We're taking Lindsey's parents, it will be their 1st time in Europe! 3 nights in Barcelona then a 7 night cruise in the Yacht Club🤩
The Top Sail lunge on the Europa was definitely beautiful and bigger than the Seashore! We had an awesome butler on the Europa too! ... I agree, it was weird having passengers embarking/disembarking every day, so much different than our American closed loop cruises.
Thank you for the answer as to why their prices look that cheap in comparison to the others 🤣🤣🤣
You’re welcome. If you’re looking for a cheaper option in Playa, check out the Reef Coco Beach. Thanks for watching !
All Inclusive Playa del Carmen The Reef Coco Beach kzread.info/dash/bejne/fY6N1syqYK2oc8Y.html
I want to stay here. This place caught my eye when i was searching during covid pandemic time.
We loved this resort! Book it!
I want to stay here and The Reef 28
They are both different, but both are fun! Let us know when you book your trip! Cheers!
We were in the Yacht Club for one of the Bellissima’s shake-down cruises in the Persian Gulf. I liked everything you mentioned; the whole week was less stressful. Our balcony cabin was at least 30% larger than standard cabins. We enjoyed being in a more intimate, but full-service area while having all of the amenities on the rest of the ship.
Thanks for watching! We wanted to portray in the video that the convenience is a big part of the luxury. Well said! We didn’t mention anything about the butler service because we didn’t really see our butler at all on this trip. The last yacht club butler experience on the World Europa was fantastic though!
Does the drink package work for the entire ship or just Yatch club area?
@@MindfixationYes! You get the deluxe drink package at every bar on the ship. On the Seashore we found the best bar was deck 8 aft. It was called “cocktail bar”. They were the best drinks on the boat. Thanks for watching 😊
Just returned to Chicago from this place! 😭😭😭😭 It was amazing and the staff is awesome
Our whole family had a great time there! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. Not our style of resort but to each their own.
Thanks for watching!!
I couldn't agree with you more!! Even if it was free, I will never go back. I even paid extra to utilize the HPDC and I still was disappointed. The noise (down the street) was very bad.
We’re sorry you had a bad experience too! Next time you can try the Wyndham or the Reef 28, both are much better! Thanks for watching🍻
Hi. This video style is very relaxing and I am not even there yet 😊 great work! Did you make dinner reservations every night?
Yes, we did make reservations each night, Asiana was our favorite. You can check out our other video. Thanks for watching! kzread.info/dash/bejne/f4ZtvMaTfKu9pNY.html
Thanks for this, wondering if there are any beach volleyball coirts? Thanks
There were no volleyball courts nearby, the beach was very chill, just some chairs and cabanas. Thanks for watching!
Is it adults only?
Yes, it’s adults only 😃
We’re eloping here! This is a very helpful review. Thank you!
Congrats!!🎊 You’ll have a great time at this resort and exploring Playa Del Carmen! 🏖️
Well, ty for sharing this video, I don't think I would stay there. lol
Thank you for the video. which resort in Cancun that you will definitely visit again?
Hi! Thanks for watching! We would definitely go back to Live Aqua, it was great! Also, we have the Hyatt Zilara on our list to visit. Cheers!
Thanks for your video! Do you recall whether they have good gluten free food options? How were the rooms, and was the beach nice and swimmable?
I’m not sure about the gluten free food but the rooms are great and you can definitely swim at the beach. Just make sure you’re not there in sargassum season. Thanks for watching!!
I forgot to write that their excuse for the lack of service in restaurants was because it was low season and I think it was a lame excuse. We are members and we pay!. The hotel had a lot of occupancy, and many other people complained about the food downstairs. The rooftop pool was also closed. We had to beg for them to open it for us.
Hi Lucy! Thanks so much for the comment and insights! We spent most of our time at the rooftop pool. So if that was closed it would have made a huge difference in the quality of our stay! Good to know about the food. Our last stay it was still really good. I hope it’s not on the decline as we want to rerun for another visit soon. We also ate at some other great places in town in Puerto Morelos and Playa Del Carmen is one of our favorite destinations, great food and lots to do. Keep us posted on your next visit to the Fives!
What time of the year did you all go?
Sorry for the late response, we went in June!
Thanks for your lovely video. We are members for all inclusive and we have visited 7 times. Our last visit last week was a little disappointing. The rooms are excelent and the service of waiters is great too, but we couldn't have dinner in the rooftop which is our favorite, they told us they were closed for food for 4 months!! The food downstairs used to better but this occasion it was disapointing. The Italian Restaurant is little better (but not extraordinary ) and it only opened the weekends. I agree the bartenders are good. We ended up in Playa de Carrnen because there are much ore options to eat, though we love the rooms and the town of Puerto Morelos. We love the restaurants in P Morelos town too. We prefer to go there though we payed for food in this place too.
Did you like the food?
The food was great! One of the things we liked most was that there was no buffet. Everything was made to order. The food was delicious compared to a lot of all-inclusive resorts we’ve been to!!
Oooh this looks really nice! :)
It was! Thanks for watching.
Thank you for this awesome and detailed review. We were considering this location for our anniversary and all of these issues seem to be a deal breaker, although I do see it has been almost a year since your visit.
Thanks for watching! I’m sure they are done with the construction by now but I think there are better options for your anniversary. The Wyndham, Reef 28 and the Hilton are our recommendations. Hope that helps, cheers!
@@SippingSunset thank you so much! I just watched your Hilton review and it looked so much nicer.
