We are going on a 5 day trip in the first week of February. I am so glad I watched your video. My husband and I are over 50. So, the party atmosphere is not our thing. I will make sure we stay away from the pool area at noon time. 😂😂😂. Thanks for the honesty.

I was there a few years ago. It used to be called The ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN. Until Hilton bought it. But the interesting thing is that Hilton bought it but they didn’t do any changes to it. Just a name change. It’s a very fancy hotel. The all inclusive is the best you can go. Drinks and food is included. It’s actually best hotel I ever stayed. Also they do shows in the lobby. Kind of like cirque du . It’s awesome. I do recommend this hotel also is very very close to 5street . Very popular. Glad you love my country.

Hilton did not buy it. They simply manage it. It is still owned by Playa Resorts.

Glad I found this review. I was considering the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Cancun however, it is somewhat isolated and from discussions I've had with individuals who stayed there, the cost of food for couples runs about $200 a day, even including the free breakfast for Hilton Diamond members. I began considering all-inclusive options for the value proposition; however, the party scene is a little much for me and my wife. I think I'll still give this property a try but understand that while it may be a refuge from kids, the kid-like adults will also be an issue.

Great review. We're planning a trip in November. Which would you recommend out of this Hilton and the Wyndham please?

If price is not a concern, definitely the Hilton!

Question; i have been in dominicana and cuba for tipping is the same like 1 o 2 dolar en bar, 2 or 3 en lunch, etc, i leave everyday 2 in the room, etc,,,, so i tip 1, 2, 3, 5, depend the service or where,,,, is the same in mexico?????? im going soon i want to know how much i should tip.

This resort is on our short list of finalists for a 20th anniversary trip in March '23. If one wanted to stay in a quieter part of the resort aka not overlooking the crazy daily pool party 🤪 what area of the resort would you recommend?

Hi Abby! We would definitely recommend a garden view room. All of those are the buildings to the north and they are quieter. That’s were we stayed and it was perfect 🥰 Happy early anniversary. You guys will have a great time!!

We were room 3423(room 423 in building 3) it was a bit of a walk to the lobby but the room was nice and quiet!

The best food I’ve ever had is at El Dorado Royale. If you are a foodie (I am a vegan) try this place!
