My c4 has 185 000or so still going great
I have a 96 C4 and they suck as a daily. They're cool and a blast to drive, but the ride is harsh, cornering in the rain can get really exciting, and just getting in and out is a pain in the ass. But, 16 year olds don't care about that shit, so first car, fuck yes.
Makes me wonder how much mine is worth. Family owned since new. Garage kept. Low mileage. Has every option except the 350. All original. Just needs a little buffing.
Why did you sell it? Just curious.
The refreshed cup holders were useless, either smashing the shifter into your drink or making a left turn and spilling your drink on the seats.

I own the 1988 5.7 Iraq and they would not come with Tops
I had a 93 Z that looks exactly the same as the one you have. I'm so saddened that i got rid of it. I miss my baby. Time is a thief. It takes everything from us eventually.
The rear side lights did not light up while in reverse ? I have a 90 conv. I am restoring it has 72k miles.

My Borla mufflers are awesome
The bolts on the top were for rigidity. The Camaro had the T in the top for stability.
the side scoops and hood scoops are both funtional on the 94-95 MY cars
THANK YOU!!!! 17 body shops have told me "NO" for hood alignment. Number one excuse, The car is too old. No one will take my $$ and I have made it clear I don't expect a warranty, just give it a shot.
I would have suggested a cold air induction system. Maybe a K&N. You had the old one pulled out might as well upgrade at that time.
My brother had a 1975 Bricklin that had very tall side rails, made for safer side impact. Love Corvettes!!

Most annoying thing is the coolant reservoir is black and not translucent so you can never really see how much coolant is in that overflow bottle

A C4 for a 16 year old first time Driver? No too Smart. Even though the C4 is less powerful Horsepower wise, it is still very quick. Putting a kid that young behind the wheel is ridiculous and dangerous. They can get away from a mature driver in a split second. I Love mine. But I'm 74 now and it's my 6th Corvette. I'm also past the Hot Rod-Go Fast part of my life. These cars are not toys. My first car at 16 was a '55 Chevy with a 265 V8. Eventually got a 4 speed and a 327 HP in it. It got Stolen 2 weeks before I left for Vietnam and I wish I still had it or one like it. 😊
Well paid , this vehicle IROC-Z along with all of 3rd gen Camaros holds a history in American Muscle cars of the 1980s, let alone IROC-Z which even more gives that iconic touch !! awesome vehicle . and an American pride !

C4s have a spare tire? Wow. C4 owners are so spoiled, and maybe a little wimpy. Real Corvette owners eschew spare tires because there is NO ROOM FOR A SPARE in any modern Corvette and owners of newer Corvettes are thus more capable drivers because they risk being hopelessly stranded every time we get behind the wheel. Spare tires are so bourgeois. Real men carry Fix-A-Flat.

It goes over 85 mph? Was it modified or was the 85 mph a llegal thing to beable to sell? I just got a 1989 c4 corvette haven't topped out the speed on mine.

Can I chip my 96 C4 LT1?
I paid $15.5k out the door for my LB9, 5spd, t-topped IROC. Granted that was in 1988, and I now have about 132kmiles on it.
If you thought it was a good deal and seller certainly did by virtue of selling, then it's a good deal!
