I put the ladder on the roof from the ground at the angle of the roof same way we fix roof or attached the antennas if you have seen that video. Hardest was working with limited space and the stress of not falling down and not cutting myself with the angle grinder but still cut the tiles correct. At the end of the day it worked perfectly.

we just put metal roof on a 9:56 porch. we did ours different. 2x4s, plywood, fabric, roofing. screws on flat areas of metal.
