Enjoy way of kings! As you say it might be best to focus on reading just book 1 first as it is quite a slow/detailed read. I wouldn't leave a large gap though between book 1 and 2 as easy to forget a lot of the details.

I love your pencil case concept. I have found that as long as my reading taste hasn't massively drifted, I enjoy the TBR veterans as much as I do new books I have bought. This is helping me read all those older books! I haven't read six of crows but enjoy!

7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was AMAZING! Do give it at least 100-150 pages before you DNF because the beginning is (intentionally) very confusing. The conclusion was 🤯

Dead Silence has been on my wishlist forever! I really hope I can pick it up soon. I originally listened to Priory. When I reread it physically, I broke it down onto sections to read each day, which really helped. I hope your reads go well.

I had similar feelings about In the Lives of Puppets! I LOVED the first like 150 pages with all of the banter and the precious lil baby bean that is Rambo, but I felt like the romance didn't do much for me. I felt like there was so much potential with their dynamic but they didn't have much chemistry for me!

The paper clips are my own creation, as they are a relatively cheap way of counting tokens. DNF stands for ‘did not finish’ so it’s used to describe a book that you decided not to continue with.

money budgeting, along with reading many books. You can find some great used books and "second hand" paperbacks at antique shops and old book shops. If you live in the right area.

New to this channel. THIS IS FASCINATING. I am glad I discovered this. Fun games and and good books of sci fi. Some old ones are great also (Simak, Aldis, old Doc Savage books, old Conan - black and white mags) and A,E. Van Voigt. But some FEW modern ones are okay. But there is also great fantasy. Believe it or not, Andre Norton's earlier books were GREAT. Old games were good. There were a lot more than AD&D games that were cool. I subscribed. YOu are a good presenter!
