I am a motorcycle fanatic, raised on the back of my dad's Sportster, (I was littler then) even had my 14th and 15th birthday's at the Sturgis rally. It's his fault I'm obsessed with bikes. My only Harley was an amf sportster . In the 70s the sportsters were the most stolen motorcycle . Loved the bike …… it was like riding a racehorse on crank . Before that I had only owned Hondas ,Yamahas and a triumph which were whole different ride .

I hope you guys had a great Sturgis. This was actually my favorite year. I really enjoyed riding the new bike all over the black hills. The weather was nice too. Very little rain.
Horsemen mount from the left side, carryover from cavalry days and a sword on the right side. Is there a corresponding tradition among bikers, mounting from the left side? I know I always do but it’s because of a bad hip.

I’ve always been a SG guy That’s what I always buy and own now. BUT…… I am considering an Indian challenger soon. I think I’m done with WOKE HD. They need to figure out who they really represent. I will boycott anything if it goes to far

I’m glad to see everyone having fun, but for me it would be difficult because I grew up in the 80s and I saw all the original bands in concert. Attending a concert with cover bands does nothing for me. I guess I was really fortunate to grow up when I did. Again, I’m glad to see everyone having fun.

Looks like everyone had a great time,,, I wanted to bring my dad‘s ashes on this trip and release some of them on every part of this ride, but I have been on the outs for a couple years with the other side of the family…. Maybe someday

Very true, my first year at Sturgis was 2017 which was the same year I lost my mom. I had one of her bracelets hung at the FTS. Always gives me chills to see it each year
My wife's dad would be alive right now if he was wearing a helmet. She was ten.
