Hi Everybody! My name is Adam, and I make music under the name An Historic, and with several other projects and bands. This channel is primarily focused on my solo accordion covers, (most are marked An Historic Accordion Cover), but will also occasionally features video of me in live performance, or video that I've taken. Please enjoy and share widely, and leave suggestions in comments if there are tunes you want to see covered. Thanks!

You have a powerful voice and that really helps when covering P.H. Well done!
YOU ARE SUCH A FUCKING INSPIRATION BRO 🔥🙏
You're clearly not an accordion player if you think the accordion doesn't belong somewhere!
Much love from a fellow accordion player obnoxiously playing his where it's not welcome x
THANK YOU
Weird Al COULD NEVER!

This excelent version brings back perfectly the special atmosphere of that great movie. Thank You Adam!
So good! Thanks so much for posting this :D This just needs an evil laugh now lol /lh /pos Great job!
Bravo!
LOVE IT!
Sounds great! What do you use to record the audio?
just a little Zoom IQ7 stereo pair. Gives me level control so the accordion doesn't blow out the speakers, which it often used to do when using camera audio.
Yeeeees! Another awesome Carly cover, you really take the heart of the orginal and create a whimsical and toe-tapping cover, thank you! 😭
Amazing job! So glad I found this
This is great, hit me right in the ears. Good on ya mate :)
Gorgeous! The original gets a little lost under that busy arrangement, but you really bring out the beauty in the melody. Nice work!
Sounds fantastic!
❤

Very cool ❤
Amazing.
i’m always coming back to this video it’s still so beautiful thank you for 6 years of comfort
When the tunes are so good even the camera can't handle them.
The Crystal pirates arrive!
What keyboard did you use?
Yamaha PSR510 and Casio MT45 iirc
I didn't know how bad i needed to hear Linus and Lucy on an accordion! Thank you! 🪗
Hi Adam! Nice to find this cover of hours (This is Aurés from KlezKanada 2018) I'd love to play this cover. Could I have a look to the score?
Hi Aures- good to hear from you. I never made a proper score of this, only a shorthand chart. It’s one of the many covers I want to transcribe but a lot of the time when I made these videos I was working so quickly that I didn’t make a proper score for most of them.
MONSTER
This is awesome
Wonderful performance!!
Yo this cover was amazing! I’m tryna learn this song too but I can’t seem to figure it out by ear. Did you ever end up finding some sheet music for it or should I just keep grinding?
Yeah never did find the sheet. I attempted to transcribe it for others but not sure what stopped me tbh. I think it was a question of how to render the rhythm maybe.
Yeah my main issue is getting those mini fast runs down but from what I can hear they seem stepwise. It also seems like it’s in C minor with the first thing going 3-2-1, 4-3-2, 2-1-(#)7, 3-2-1 but I really got no clue, especially with that potentially sharp 7.
Okay i didn't even knew i need that
great
How it was meant to sound
This is what I love about being alive. Beautiful.
great job!
I meant to ask, do you have this song available anywhere else to listen to or buy? A physical edition or mp3 or anything?
I recorded this a while ago for a Lathe cut release. I'll have to check but pretty sure I still have a few copies of it left. I was selling them only at shows for awhile because I didn't think I was prepared to ship vinyl, but that may have changed.
@@pinguchan1 Hey Adam, were you able to find out if you were able to ship vinyl? Of course any physical copy or digital release works too, whatever your preference is, but I literally just finished setting up my new turntable and I would truly love this on vinyl!
