Deepforest (original composition)

This is Deepforest, an original composition. One of a series of tunes I’ve written in the last 6 months inspired by the various folk traditions I’ve spent time exploring and learning about. This one in particular is inspired by certain varieties of Polska with an elastic second beat, or at least my basic understanding of how these rhythms come across in fiddle music. I’m looking forward to sharing more of them in the weeks and months to come!

    Thanks - there’s close to a dozen more of these that I am going to be trying to record before the year is out.
