Hi, welcome to our channel!
We are Martin and Kaya, the authors of SnorkelPlanet.com. Because of our passion for snorkeling, we decided to launch our own website in 2020. We thought it would be both fun for us and educational for others. Even though we cover a good amount of snorkel gear, we try to focus on snorkel tips and worldwide locations. Feel free to visit us, we'd love that!
So now that our website is up and running, it's time to start this KZread channel. Give us some time to figure it all out and to publish more videos. Kaya does the talking, whilst Martin does the editing. We really hope to be informative and that many of you will learn something. We really enjoyed making our first video, so please check back sometime because there'll be more.

There are no blue hippo tangs in Key Largo.
@ 2:33... It's the first time have heard it called Shark's Cove coz of how it looks from above. More'n likely, the Cove was so-named because the surrounding above water reef resembles shark's teeth...very jagged & Very Sharp! BTW...The best time for Any water activities is usually btwn mid-May to late-Sept., surf permitting. Nice video, different from others....
Been snorkeling off the beach at Bibijagua beach and seeing green sea turtles everyday. There's not much else to see, some fish and the visibility is not so great, but you can see turtles!

How does the snorkeling in Dry Tortugas compare to the other locations mentioned? Better? Not as good? Thanks in advance for any insight anyone is willing to provide.
West of Key West, not "South" ! South is the Florida Straights & Cuba..... Otherwise very nice presentation 😊

I cannot imagine snorkelling at Saona Island 😂 I almost drowned there because the waves were so big considering that it is very close to the Atlantic
Do you know any all inclusive adult only that are the best snorkeling spots where you don’t go out on a boat you can just swim? Thanks!

I've snorkeled Sand Key and Rock Key but primarily dive that area. Just got back from a month there and made 40 scuba dives and have lots of video clips of the dives on my channel.
