My dog really does keep looking for the laser pointer and now she’s moved on to chasing laser pointers, the light that shines off of devices, car headlights, flashlights, shadows, etc.

Why then do some trainers tell you to teach your dog “Watch Me” and the dog looks into your eyes until you give them their treat or praise?

I did the laser pointer without knowing its potentially bad for dogs. My dog of course chased the laser around the porch for a bit, and then I turned it off as soon as she thought she "caught it" and all was well. I pointed it again a few days later, she looked at it, and then looked away as if, "I already defeated you" and she completely ignores the light. She'll still chase and fetch her regular toys, so no negative aftermath from the pointer.

Please do NOT take this videos advise! As a certified trainer... Basing off of the signs of watching the dog in the video they and or the owners, greet the dog immediately when they get home rather than ignoring the dog until the dog is calm and chilled out. When not doing this stage properly you cause anxiety and seperation anxiety in the dog and the dogs do the behaviors as they are in this video barking at her through the fence while she's at her car. She has taught the dog also that fencing behaviors is acceptable. She also approached the fence encouraging the dog to continue "fencing." Whether she realizes it or not she and the owners has taught the dog numerous bad behaviors and you can see it in the dog's behaviors. THE REASON THE EARS ARE NOT WORKING AS YOU SAID IT, Is because the dog clearly knows he is the alpha you can see that that's how his owners have him trained by improper training and approaches they use. The dog's not listening to them because in his mind why should he... they are not his boss, he is their boss!

I personally hate muzzles i think they are cruel although i do understand that sometimes it is 100% neccarry but still it is cruel i mean how would you like it if everytime you went outside someone put something around your mouth Also dogs that are muzzled cannot fight back if another dog is being aggressive towards it this could lead to the other dog seeing it as easy prey dogs without muzzles can fight back so most likely the dog will stop attacking

I can not believe that you would be recommending Apoquel. People, beware of the warnings on the information page, that this is not to given to a dog before they are fully grown. As this may stop their growth. I’m speaking from experience. I would advise you to join a dog group of your bread, and ask for their insights. We have had good experiences with Cytopoint. The only problem is that with a 135lb dog, it was $$185.00 a shot. It used to last a whole summer, but lately it is taking two shots. 😒

It's to many to much hurt and pain and suffering. When someone step up and take legal action to stop the Amish with puppy mills. It's a pure money racket. It's not nessasary to do this. To many sad story's but no puppy mills are being shut down and to rescue all the puppy mills in the states. Well Amish are like the cave man. Don't care about dogs life. It's all about the money. Some people sell drugs thees people invest in big money buy doing dogs. And the rest of world is sex trafficking. So there's where your money sets are. Sex drugs and dogs are for sale. And all crooked and no remorse and don't care it's all about that dam ass dollar bill money the root of evil it's not from the ground it's in the free will of man. But that tree of Knollage was put out and along comes that slick snake that had to start the picture up to the human who had no intelligence and was blinded and had no idea. And that's when hell flooded the earth now look at the mess we are in because of one human telling the other human hay come over here check this out. And soon as that was check out hell was born into the world had to come into the human. What a great picture and look now of all the sufferings because of a price of fruit from a tree and from a human that didn't listen and was air headed. Unbelievable. I love dogs but if I only could be super women I resuce all the dogs and puppy's and tell the Amish you need to live over in the desert or that deserted Feild over there and no dogs or cats or horses. Use the humans to plow the fields. No anilale aloud with the Amish people.

Well I can't stand it and the law has to step up how long does this take. With puppy Mills. There are to many dogs that need love no matter what and where there comeing from and how do we save thees dogs that are born from puppy mills. And if Thay can not sell the puppy's from the mills Thay should never abandon puppy's give them away or sell them cheap or to let stores where at least being cared for and not killed or left to be alone to die. Who are these demented people there no way in hell are believers in God when Thay do that I Mark them as how the world is there no better than in the world. And the mom dogs just giveing birth after birth after birth. What the heck. The law needs to visit all the puppy mills in the states and Collet all the dogs parents and puppy's and put them on a farm fenced in or how ever. Just to give freedom there in jail more or less and it's like sex trafficking but with dogs. A male dog to make the female have babbies sell just like that do with young girls sell for prstetution. Money racket. Don't think all Amish are Christians that's pure crap Thay just live there culture

Donkeys have a natural distaste for dogs. I’m glad you used a fence. There likely was a good chance the donkey would have attacked the dog had it not been for the fence. It’s just instincts, nothing personal.

Before I knew what a service dog i probably would have petted one the info that’s out there now wasn’t out there and wasn’t really ever talked about in my area or anything. But I completely respect service dogs and of course now I just smile and compliment the dog usually unless the animal comes to me and the owner says to pet her. I have an esa which the more the merrier for her lol she loves everyone n everything. Dogs are so amazing. I love them so much I just want to hug them all😂

I love working w scared nervous shy and one’s they deem”aggressive” out of fear😞. I go to the shelter n spend my time w those dogs bc I want hem to be able to get adopted. I adopted rescued a Pyrenees wolfhound n he’s reactive sometimes we been working w him obv n things are way better than they were😊 but he doesn’t like men or strangers getting to close. He’s a gentle giant at home tho. I just reassure him when we r out and just try n keep him calmed he’s doing a lot better than this time last year. I just am patient w him that’s the biggest thing w him I think he just has to do things on his time as he’s comfortable. I also adopted a pittie she’s the sweetest lil piglet ever🤭 she loves to eat and she’s a stage five clinger🤭😂.

I really really want to work rehabilitating "aggressive" animals... I've been on the other side, attacked by trained dogs. This video IS helpful, i do love it, but what ways can i *neutralize* the dogs without harming them? No escape, the dogs are not trying to play, and they are trained not to stop. It's not instinct or territory defense, it's an attack. Not that they'll *necessarily* kill me, but they will certainly maul me if i don't do something... but i can't bring myself to hurt the animal in any meaningful way. In this situation, they know you are the target. You are in an open space 73 metres long, 58 metres wide, surrounded by fence with nothing to climb or hide behind. Throwing objects as a distraction does nothing, it won't break their focus off you. There is a minimum of 2, and maximum of 5 dogs. There is nothing on the ground to use as a tool, you must bring whatever you have. Your posture, intentions and behaviour will not prevent the dogs from attacking. Their owner speaks and trained the dogs in a language you do not speak.
