informative video. Is it T2 Magarpatta?
Thank you!! It's T4 😁
Any chassis issue, please reply can I purchased or wait 2nd lot
No issues at all.. but make sure once the accessories are installed all bolts are tightened well.
It's an amazing bike but the deal breaker is low end torque. For a adventure bike it's not acceptable.
As per the specs the torque is there but you need to shift the gears quite frequently, specially in city riding conditions which is little annoying sometime. You need to get used to of it. However I would say during adventure ride or touring this would not be an issue.
Good points covered, thank you!
You are welcome!!
Great analysis done here. Especially the heating issue, it is just not the bike but where you ride adds a lot to the aspect. Great 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the comment!!
How Many km it will last
They should last for at least 10k km, but again it depends mostly on your riding style and riding conditions. In my case I have completed 4k kms and pads as good as new.
@OnceARider Yeah, I know that. I have given my Himalayan 450 for the second service, which is clocked at 2600 km.. And from the service centre, they informed me my rear breakpad was done. But I don't use rear breaks much. I depends on front break and engine breaking mostly
@MusafirAhamed okay, then you should adjust the brake lever position, sometime due to shoes or our sitting style we rest the foot on brake lever and unknowingly it gets presses and that is enough to wear out those pads. To test it just ride for 1km or so and do not use rear brake, on stopping touch the brake rotor if it is warm or hot then the brake leaver is getting pressed unknowingly. And adjust the leaver position accordingly. Hope this helps. I am saying this considering you have checked and verified that your old pads are worn-out and service center is not scamming you.
...don't own an RE. But like those bikes. There is a youtube video around from a guy explaining how important those bolts are. If those are not tight the frame will take too much load. The engine - as stressed member - should take a big part of the load. If those bolts are loose there is a danger that the frame suffers damage from overload. Means: try to get a detailed description from RE how to proceed. Correct prestress / Torque on those bolts might be super critical. Good luck! Regards, Andreas
Hi Andreas, Thank you for sharing that information and you are right, those bolts are super critical since engine is also a stress member, for now I have tighten those bolt with some medium strength thread lock and very soon I have to go for 2nd service. So will consult to the Engineers at RE service center.
@@OnceARider great. The overall design will be fine. RE has to dig deep into the details and procedures why this strange problem shows up. And then there will be a fix. Good luck with your bike! Cheers, Andreas
hi what that actual solution u used ? and thanks for this video and your opinion on Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Vesrah Brake Pads (Ceramic)
I cleaned both, Rotor and Pads with some soapy water, which is a mixture of just some plain water and little Vim ( dishwasher ) any dishwasher should do the job, they are good degreaser. And in Himalayan the brake pads are from Brembo not Vesrah and I haven't used the Vesrah pad so couldn't comment much.

Is it safe to travel Maharashtra now?
Yes, It is very safe, In fact best time to travel in Maharashtra specially the touristic places and there are a lot of places to trek, Konkan region also a great place to travel during Monsoon. But may I ask the reason or context of your question, what made you think MH is not safe to travel ?
@@OnceARider sometimes Der will be heavy rain so wanna know about roads vll be safe or no
@@OnceARider and now waterfalls will be opened ?
@@SoniyaRS201 Oh ok, got your point. Right now it's not raining a lot, in fact you should wait for sometime for Monsoon to begin properly. Awsm bro✌️nw I’m Your subscriber😅 meet you at Rajmachi fort Ride😁
Oh nice, will meet again 🙋♂️
Good morning 👍👍👍
Good morning
why its loos . i thing that engine haven't any support on front side and that's the design by company . and i don.t know why RE makes anti rust proof service every services . why should not provide the good material chassis . like other adv bikes other company.I haven't see this type of cassias broken issues other company bikes. i Have friend he brought the new RE Himalayan and it's broken after purchasing of 2month during the juarck . that loos bolt is not matter to broken the body . I think RE Need more Homework to do & Provide the good quality bikes to people . I love that 411 & that was a best ADV in that segment .
Blaming the bolts is just a coverup, chassis should not break just because of a bolt.
@@OnceARider yaaa thats why I tell
These issues are inherent in REs forever. They never makebtrouble free bikes. I am also a proud RE owner😅
True.. 😅
Awsome video 🔥..
Thanks 🔥
is this after market crash guard? Looks like spacers are not fit correctly.
No, it is official RE engine guard fitted by showroom. Spacers came loose after approx 3000 Kms due to vibrations.
@@OnceARider oh ok. Thanks for posting. I will keep an eye on my crash guard.
@@gopichandransk yes.. it needs to be checked periodically.. in my case I used to get some rattling noise while on speed breakers or bmps but couldn't figure out from where the noise was coming, it is very difficult to identify even if the bolts are loose just by touch or looking. Finally after my last ride of 250kms it became so loose that it became visible and after tightening it all the noise went away. So I would suggest you notice any abnormal noise from the bike and do the needful.
So now one has to inspect ones bike like a mechanic in moto gp .
sad reality.. but I believe once vibrations get normalize after running couple of 1000s of km then the issue will be resolved. other than that adding a medium strength thread locker is advisable
बहुत बढ़िया 👍

Bhot badiya video Hai
Thank you!! 😊
👍👍👍👍👍
😊
As u are saying right that even oem bokts getting loose..and they tight without any torque wrench even if u install oem crash guard theytight will nrmal alenkey without specific force..so just blaming after market crash guard is not good thing ..so if u install oem or after market connection point and bolt tighten is same as after market..only we canassume that oem guard is tested..and light weight to observe damage.. but if the oem is tested well what about other loosen bolts..so one experienced mechanic said to use lock tight gel for crash guard fitting to protect ..bolt to be loosen..n apart from that2 cases..in my group theirare atlest 7..8 himalayan but they dontface anny issue after long trip to ladakh..even my 2frnd went to ladkh ..n when they come i willupdate about their bikes durablity.. note 4 out of 5 frnds have after market guards..u r view on this durablity issue will guide us fruther what u say..??
Well, I would say there is no durability issue as such, just bit of negligence from RE service centers, they have skill gap. Since this is a all new engine and chassis design the local service centers are not aware about he issue which might occur. These are minor issues and can be fixed easily, since in this new chassis design the engine also a part of stress member so obviously it will transfer the vibrations to the chassis and bolts will come loose, they should have applied thread lock while installing the engine guard. So, I have done it myself now, will update soon if there are some new findings.
@@OnceARider make a video about what is thread lock or lock tight solution..and how to use and where to use..and one thing i feel that durabliry of bike is good .whats ur take on durablity?..because i also has one. loose bolt cause issues and as u said poor re service cntre ..they just tightmy guard with normal alenkey..without torque wrench which can cause such blunders..
Sure, will make video on how to use thread locker soon and no doubt about the durability and capability of bike, it is an awesome bike.
Which Mechanik has install the Accessoires? That is the bad guy.
All accessories are from RE and they have been install at showroom only. That's why I am saying they have skill gaps since this is all new model of bike very different from what had till date.
This should not be a issue with a adv bike
True.. RE service centers are not yet ready for this, they have skill gaps.
Own a royal enfield live with a problem wow😂 people pay for this amazing experience
sad reality..
How bad is the built quality???
Build quality is good. Just some minor issues not a deal breaker and those issues can be fixed even at home.
The thing is my local service centre does no even have a torque wrench so how will the tighten the bolts to the correct spec?
In that case apply some medium strength ( blue color ) thread locker on the bolts and tighten them to the max possible.
Even after tightening the bolts again its becoming loose after long rides ? Even i had few bolts including engine mounting bolts loose and got it tightened to in first service
Yes, looks like all the vibrations are getting transferred to the chassis as Engine is also a part stress member in Himalayan. I think we should apply thread lock to all the bolts and do regular inspection of bolts specially before long rides.
@@OnceARider vibrations r lot after 70-80 speed. Okay i will keep it checking regularly
@@OnceARider but this will be serious design flaw if bolts are getting loose due to vibrations. And by oct we will get clear pic as lot of bikes are doing ladakh and spiti rides.
Hope for the best.
Dude the Himalayan 450 is already out? Thanks for letting people know. How the bike ride?
It was launched in November 2023 but due to high demands, for most of the folks delivery started in December and I got mine in Jan 2024. Till now I have done approx. 3000km on the ODO and man it is a wonderful bike. You will fall in love with every ride. Power, suspension, handling, huge fuel tank and awesome fuel economy are some of it's Pros but list doesn't stops here. However there's one con specially for Indian market is: it is not available with Tubeless rims yet, there is some licensing issue with that, but for International market it is available with tubeless rims. And there are some quality check issue as shown in this video but not a deal breaker. Those minor issues can be fixed even at home easily.
@@OnceARider nice!! I can't wait to see in person. I loved the first Himalayan the upgrades look awesome!
Mine is intact perfectly...i check everyday...OEM crash guard...i rode almost 700km and facing no issues till now.
Great.. good to hear that the issue is not with everyone. However mine is also everything OEM fitted from the showroom and still the bolts got loose. And this is a serious issue it's not possible for everyone to check the bolts daily and there are n number of bolts, what all you will check and how do you know if they are tightened to the spec. What seems to be snug to touch may not be tight as per spec.
@@OnceARider true
This is really concerning😢
Yes
Is this brembo break pads right
Yes they are brembo ( front: 07527036, rear: 07555274)
Just use the accessories port provided below the tank on the left side. It is red in colour. And clearly marked)tagged as accessories. I could easily get the male connector from some spare old wiring lying in the mechanic garage. No cutting of wire is required. The accessories port provides 12v only when the engine is running. Ideal for aux lights so it will not drain battery when engine not running
Great, didn't know about the port, will check it soon. Thanks for sharing.
Exactly, i was wondering why under the tank port is not used.
@@shubhankar881 haven't got time to check it yet but will soon use the port under tank.
What about the accessories port which was provided by RE?
Dear viewer, in the video I have shown how to get 12 volts from Accessory port provided in Himalayan. People simply insert wire into the 12 volt pin of accessory port which is not good. I have shown how you can get proper male socket for female accessory port provided in Himalayan.
There is an accessory port beneath the tank.
@user-uc1ri5zj3t I didn't found the port, can you share some more details on it? Will check
Very good information👍👍👍
Glad it was helpful, thanks for the comment 😊
How much for this pad bro
Rear ones from RE would cost around 3300rs. Not sure about the front ones. But people are saying the pads are the same as in the Interceptor. And Interceptor pads are of 2500rs. So technically you can get the interceptor brake pads for cheap and use them in your Himalayan. There is just one metal plate which you may need to transfer from old Himalayan pads to new Interceptor pads.
Great information thank you for sharing. Excellent work
Thanks for the comment, this really motivates me to make such informative videos.
How many mobile data will be consumed ?
It's just a screen caste, means whatever is on your phone screen it would be displayed on the dash and in case of Royal Enfiled app it only castes the Map screen, so dash doesn't uses data on it's own. Whatever data is consumed it would be consumed by App on the phone. And app uses significant amout of data while using navigation, I do not have any exact figure but since you have asked I would try to find it and will share. However it drains the phone's battery very quickly and phone gets really hot.
How much did they cost you for that?
It was free. Covered under warranty.
Jus took the delivery recently kamet white, I sense vibrations after attaining 60 in 4th gear itself and it feels like the bike can’t be pushed beyond that due to vibs, still im positive that after some feedback, it will improve, also the engine gets too hot after jus 3km and i smell something burnt, idk if all these are normal or maybe gone after first service. But they do make me feel a bit worried. Some feedback is appreciated, pls do reply
Hello.. 1. The vibrations will keep getting better, in my case around 600kms and first service vibrations were totally gone. It felt like a different machine altogether. 2. But the vibrations were not that prominent at 60km/h, in my case around 90-110 vibrations were very annoying. But as mentioned in the above comment they got better with time. 3. Engine gets hot in the beginning. A little burning smell should not be a concern. But if it is very prominent and doesn't go after running for some time. Maybe let's say 100km then you should get it checked. 4. I would advise not to go beyond 4000rpm for the initial 500kms. And beyond 6000rpm for 500-2000kms as mentioned in the user manual. Also do not hard accelerate. If you take care of your bike in the initial breaking period, it will serve you better and you will not face any problems later. Happy Riding, cheers!!
@@OnceARider thank you, ill follow these instructions, I'm a bit relieved after this comment. 🙂
Running inn is the key. Keep under 4000 rpm till 500 km and 6000 till 2500 km. Any abnormal issue show the bike to the service centre.
Once tripper dash is updated press autopilot mode.
Can't wait for the next Transformer update.
Appreciate your efforts. But what's the use of this video?? Atleast tell what are the changes post update.. don't we know how to click a button?
This video was intended to share the update process experience, like it went smoothly or there were some issues, how long it took etc etc. And there are no new things in the dash after the update so nothing to share there, however as per the information from Royal Enfield the update will improve connectivity and improve to the ride experience (the are claiming smoother ride). I didn't have any connectivity issue earlier but would be testing the smoother ride experience claim shortly. So stay tuned 😅
Can you use your phone for navigation and lock it now?
@@OnceARider looking forward for more videos
@@pedropaulo7922 No, still you need to keep your phone unlocked for full screen navigation. Once locked it switches to turn by turn tripper navigation.

wish they let us know what they have actually updated
As per the msg they have sent in WhatsApp: Upgrade your Tripper Dash to the latest firmware version* and ensure seamless connectivity and smoother rides. So my speculation is: Some connectivity related fixes and may be some tuning related to ride profile 🤔

Bhai please tell me when bike pull to right side too phir woo kon si side ka tyre khaegi
I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but if you are asking ki tyre kis side ghisega agar bike right ki taraf pull kar rahi hai to, iska answer hai: tyre rigth side se hi ghisega jada, but ye effect bikes me na ke barabar hoga, ye effect 4 wheerlers me significant hota hai. Bike me right side ka pull issue multiple reasons se ho sakta hai For example: 1. Wheel alignment, balancing and trueing issue (most comment issues). 2. Fork missaligne issue. 3. Suspension travel. 4. Rear wheel missalignment. 5. Frame bent issue etc etc.. aur inka tyre ghisne me koi significant role nahi rahega jahan tak mujhe lagta hai.
