  Split decision fight for Reyes. Its because Jon pulls more PPV then Reyes. So unfair.. Gustavsson also beat Jones in rhe first fight. No to mention that Jones was on steroids a long time.

  I had jon winning the second round plus he was the aggressor Reyes run for most of the fight not how you beat a champion. That’s a turn off for the judges.

  The difference was the takedowns and Jon out striking the last 2 rounds it was close the whole fight but Jon’s kept going forward and starting exchanges and keeping up with strikes

  True I think it was also because of his advancing and takedowns that gave him a slight edge. Domimick Reyes outstruck him in the first 3 rounds but Jon advanced more and attempted takedowns which is also considered a criteria for judges. Islam vs Volk is a good example. Islam is getting pummeled but still won because of the overall ground control despite not doing much. UFC's judging critera 🤷‍♂️

  I believe dominance or aggression is part of how rounds are scored in mma. Like in Jujitsu, if you're on your back, it's seen as less dominant.
