    These would be great if they would just crank when you want them to. They are notorious for being finicky, hard to crank, a pain in the ass. I know, I have a Pursang.

    This one sat for 5 years and started on 3rd kick. Proper maintenance and quality upgrades make a big difference. I know, I have a Sherpa T, 2 Fronteras and a Pursang.

    Numbering the bolts is a waste of time, just throw them all in the holes loose and move them around until they all stick out equally and then you know they are in the correct place.

  • @Freddiez43
    @Freddiez4310 ай бұрын

    I prefer to take a minute to number them so they all go in the right place then to put them in and then take them out until all are correct. Glad that you enjoy doing it the other way.

    Thank you Fred!! I was going nuts trying to do mine this morning. For the life of me I could not get my screwdriver on the adjuster. DUHH!! Too hard with the tank bolted down. I just did my first spark plug change and buttoned everything back up. I see you lifted your tank to do the sync!! Very good!!

    I saw a guy (in a video) remove his NSU bolts and replace them with Lock Tight, without removing his clutch assembly. He made a special off-set driver that fit the bolts. It was pretty cool, but I like using the wire securement method much better. You just can't beat that wire back-up.

    My friend made one out of air tube and a yardstick and transmission fluid to synchronize or Super Teneres. It transforms the throttle control so much better. It’s as smooth as silk now. No on offf with the throttle. What a transformation.

  • @Freddiez43

    I got the speedo from Bajadesigns.com at the same time I bought the dual sport kit from them. Looks like it went up in price a bit, as I paid about $50 and now it is $69.95. It connects to the stock odometer cable and is very accurate according to my GPS. Here is the link: www.bajadesigns.com/products/Speedometers.asp

    I also have a gravel/stone driveway. I raise the blade to leave about an inch of snow so my driveway doesn't end up in the yard. I'm surprised it pushes that well since I didn't notice chains on the wheel.

  • @Freddiez43
    @Freddiez438 жыл бұрын

    One thing I did was to put about a gallon of windshield washer fluid in each tire and that helped with traction. This video was one of the first times that I used the blade and since then have raised the blade a bit, as you say.
