  During the Battle of Umbara, Obi-Wan refers to the 501st’s clones as “Anakin’s Battalion”. My guess is that simply a battalion-sized group of clones from the 501st assisted the 212th in taking Umbara.

  It had a couple side hangars more. Still, the Venator capacity of load was pretty much unbelievable being that small (compared to the Star Destroyer)

  There was no need to replace Venators with more powerful ships after the Clone Wars. There are two ways to open main hanger doors - open them fully or just a small part of the doors, like we see in Episode III when Obi-Wan leaves his Venator and flies to Utapau. Venators are carrier ships first with pretty good assault capabilities. They would make way more sense in a war against small rebel groups, which heavily relied on star fighters, then Imperial class which was created as capital ship killer and had fewer point defense capabilities. It actually would make more sense to let Venators continue their service as star fighter, bomber, and supply carriers. After all, these ships were 3 years old only. They could be fine addition to Imperial and Victory class Star Destroyers.

  I mean the structure is similar to what our military is. For example I was in the Air Force, in the air force from top to bottom is Secaf, HAF, MAJCOMS, NAFs, Wings, Groups, and Squadrons. You can be a Colonel for a Squadron, or you can be a Colonel for an entire wing. And that's just the basics of it. In reality it kind of looks like a family tree, kind of what's depicted in the video. Some Majcoms will have bases spread out the entire country/world, where another majcom will only have one base.

  It's funny to me that this video is on the six best marshal commanders despite there only being six known marshal commanders. Great video. Also, interesting fact about Fox, he actually wasn't that happy with his position on Coruscant and wanted to return to the frontlines. As specifically stated in the Star Wars the Clone Wars: the Visual Guide "Fox desperately wants to return to the front, but he is currently assigned to the Coruscant Guard."

  So, a couple things: One, you are absolutely overinflating the impact that Thorn's sacrifice had. No one in the GAR knew how heroically he died, since there were no survivors on Scipio, just that he had died and had failed his mission to protect Senator Amidala. So saying that Thorn's sacrifice had this great impact by inspiring others in the GAR and future generations is just not right. Two, there is no "likely" about Thire being part of the Diplomatic Service. He, Jek, and Rys were all officially part of the Diplomatic Escort Group. And three, Fox's hate is absolutely ridiculous, so I'm very glad that you mentioned that it's time for the fandom to reevaluate their view of him. Everything we've seen Fox do have been perfectly correct based on his position as the marshal commander of the Coruscant Guard. All in all, it was a good video and I'm glad to see the Corries get some love.

  I understand peoples 'hatred towards Fox' I personally don't hate him. But has anyone stopped to realise you'd all hate: Rex Wolfee Gregor Cody Bly Mayday Or any other commander in Fox's position since clones and their personalities and views are based upon who/where they serve.. The Coruscant guard isn't that open and most members at least 80% see the unit as better than everyone else and they are generally under the most pressure. What with being under Palpatines direct control, if he was the 501st Captain, I doubt Fox would appear so cold and uncaring.

  I get why people dislike Fox for killing Five's but actually looking at it: Arc Trooper Five's, Highly trained, acting very angry and emotional out of nowhere attempted to kill the Republics president. Took a General and high commanding officer hostage and after multiple chances and told specifically not to reach for a weapon. He grabbed a pistol and was going to shoot a garrison commander and his troops.

  Commander Fox did nothing wrong. I will never understand how people can hate him. Sure, he killed a caracter that the viewers were attached to and WE know that Fives was right, but look at the perspective of Fox. Theres a dangerous rogue clone, that tried to assasiante the chancellor, held Skywalker and Rex hostage and he is screaming like a mad men telling of some plot against all jedi. Fox even gave him a chance to surrender, before Fives pulled a blaster. And for those who are saying "Use stun" we know that the stun setting does not have to knock out the enemy. Fives was about to open fire on his brothers. Shooting him was necessary. Thorn would have done the same thing. And Fox would have gone the same way out as Thorn did

  While Fox wasn't the greatest trooper it was shown that he was ordeted by the chancellor to execute fives on the spot, but instead he chose to take Fives in and didn't shoot until Fives had pulled a weapon. He certainly wasn't the greatest, smartest, or thankful, but he cared enough to arrest a brother instead of choosing to outright kill.​@@CloneCommanderCrater1102

  The Venator is a Star Destroyer class ship. The Empire replaced it with Star Destroyers of Imperial class (you see it in Episode IV and Rouge One). Later Star Destroyer Imperial II class was released (Episode V & VI). Star Destroyer is basically a type of a ship, not its class or name.

  Fox was also kind of justified by the fact that he was under the impression that Fives tried killing the chancellor. Fives also pulled a gun on Fox and was holding Rex and General Skywalker hostage.

  I used to laugh at the impracticality of the AT-AT, but eventually I realized that being so high up gives the AT-AT a ton of visual advantage as well as far greater range; and having the vulnerable mechanical parts out of reach for the average foot soldier really makes it a valuable asset. Even the trick Luke used could have been mitigated by just placing a few cutting edges on the legs, which can be retrofitted almost immediately. Ultimately, as counterproductive as it sounds, the AT-TE is a war machine, the AT-AT is a "peacekeeping" machine. The increased range, better visibility, and relative protection against on-foot attacks, like bombs, really makes the AT-AT best against a guerilla force like the Rebel Alliance. An AT-TE in that same role would have its belly blown open the second the crew stops paying attention. Park that thing near a busy city somewhere, go mingle with the populace, leave a few people to guard it - the guards get taken out, and the whole thing is rigged to blow. Meanwhile on an actual battlefield an AT-AT would get pieces up by high caliber turrets, and the AT-TE's flat profile protects it. Don't try to compare the two. One is an all terrain tank; the other is a walking, armored lookout tower.

  He may be, but plenty of people talk about legends thrawn. Thrawns Canon appearances often get shrugged off as 'worse', so that's what I have chosen to focus on for this series. I have done Canon profiles for all commanders in this series, not just thrawn.

  The 501st structure by me: General: Anakin Commander: Ahsoka Captain: Rex 1st Lieutenant: Vaughn (Over Jesse, that´s why in season 7, Vaughn was Captain and Jesse only Lieutenant, so, Jesse was promoted to 1st Lieutenant in season 7) 2nd Lieutenant: Jesse Sargent: Appo (In season 7, Vaughn and Jesse where promoted, so, the only clone left with a rank, was Appo, that´s why i believe he was the Commander of the 501st in Revenge of the Sith) Corporal: Fives??, Echo. In the 212th General: Obi Wan Commander: Cody Captain: ?? (Maybe Gregor??, he was the Captain of the foxtrot commandos group, wich it´s part of the 212th, but, who knows) 1st Lieutenant: Waxer 2nd Lieutenat: Boil Sargent: ??? Corporal: ???
