Thank you for this beautiful hour of Jewels music! I have several of their tunes but "one little lick" and "black is the highest culture" were completely new discoveries. One thing I noticed is the reappearance of HPF in the Dubs - sounding like Niney at Tubby's studio? What about the tunes that came out on Leggo, Starlight, C&C? Do we have information who mixed the Dubs and where?

This was the show that introduced me to their music and inspired me to track down Glasford (the lead singer) in the Red Hills above Kingston many years ago. Such an incredible group, and it's criminal their music is so hard to find. Apparently Leggo has a whole unreleased album of their music recorded in the 70's ...

Do you have more Firecorner podcasts? I used to have them all about 20 years ago but they are on a long dead hard drive now. I'd like to listen to the African Brothers Special again, in honor of brother Tony...RIP Tony Tuff
